Apocalypse — Chapter 43: This Was a Conspiracy!

“Sister Ruoqing, what do we do next? Everything in the mall that could be eaten or drunk, we already emptied before. If we stay here we can only wait to die.”

Driven down to the fourth floor of the mall, Si Ruoqing and the others sat in a circle, out of ideas.

“Then we fight our way out of here and go find our new shelter!” Si Ruoqing said, her face set. “This time, we never help those ungrateful wolves again!”

“But the first and second floors of the mall are all zombies! We can’t get out at all!” one woman on the team said, slumping.

“If I’d known, we never should have saved those people in the first place!” the hot-tempered girl Xiao Liu swore, resentful. “A pack of ungrateful wolves!”
