Apocalypse — Chapter 42: The Twin Sisters

She was waiting for these old people and these women to stand up with some courage!

She was willing to protect the weak. But if these weak people chose to yield themselves, what obligation did she still have to protect them?

She was a police officer. She had indeed been defending the last thread of justice and morality left in the apocalypse.

But she did not want to be a stupid, ridiculous saint!

She was willing to save other people. But she could not save people who had already given up on themselves!

“These two girls can stay!”

Zhou Zhengyu pointed at two of them, young women who looked about eighteen or nineteen, and said, “These two girls are both pretty good. Keep them as a reward for the brothers!”

Xiao Yi glanced at those two young women. Both of them were wearing matching school uniforms and ponytails. They looked very clean and pretty.

And Xiao Yi also found that these two not only looked good, they actually looked exactly alike!

They were a pair of twin sisters!

This was a rare pair!

Most of the supplies in here were brought back by me leading you people to find them. What right do you have to drive me out now?”

“That’s right! Go!” A plump middle-aged woman who looked a little sharp and mean stood up as well. “It’s because of you—always saving extra people—that our supplies ran down so fast! What was in the mall could have let us last much longer! Get out! We don’t welcome you!”

“Get out!”

The remaining old people and women chimed in as well.

Si Ruoqing’s face went bloodless. She could not understand it no matter how she thought. People she had saved without caring about her own safety would treat her like this!

Xiao Yi stood to the side and watched this farce with cold eyes. Originally he had already been about to move and destroy all these ugly people.

The other women on the team snorted coldly as well and strode toward the door behind Si Ruoqing with long steps.

“Good luck.” Xiao Yi looked at Scarface and Zhou Zhengyu with a cold smile and strode after Si Ruoqing as well.
