Apocalypse Beast Supplier: Only I Sell God-Tier Beasts
Chapter 115: Beast Shop Front
Helping Hanging City wasn’t that wasteful of time. While he didn’t achieve his primary plan, the goal ending was still the same.
Terrence’s name became known in most of the region since he was a big contributor to saving the city from the massive breach of a rift from the Nexus.
Because of this, the industry of selling beasts started and officially nailed its kind to the market, with Terrence being the only one capable of selling such creatures.
Some wanted to try, but it needed massive resources and investments, which, at this time, Terrence held a total monopoly over.
It took a week-long period of recovery before Terrence left the city and finally went on his way to return to Suran City. Along the way, he received a message from Klein that would finally start the next phase of their grand plan.
With such a name made for himself, Terrence could now face the next target: the powerful weaponry leg of the Lee Family’s Associate.
Beasts were considered weapons in their own right, and such a thing couldn’t be denied. Terrence wanted to use this fact as his prime opportunity.
Smiling widely as he returned to Suran City, a familiar, warm sensation washed within him. It was far from being emotional or dramatic; he simply couldn’t wait for the action to begin.
"You really nailed creating noise, Terrence," Klein said, sitting across from Terrence inside a quiet café down the street.
Terrence was adorned in a sleek tuxedo, looking somewhat ready to attend a formal ball or an event later. Meanwhile, Klein hadn’t changed at all. He was still wearing his typical, impeccably tailored tuxedo.
"That was the plan all along. Nailed it? I don’t think so, but I certainly know how to manage," Terrence said, sipping from the cup of hot tea he ordered without looking directly at Klein.
Klein smirked knowingly. "By the way, what are you going to do with the storefront? I have already named the business after you, just as you asked."
Terrence raised his eyes, staring directly into Klein’s soul with a calm, sharp focus.
"Hm... I will use it directly against the Weaponry Leg. I am planning on approaching them directly."
"Really?" Klein’s eyes widened, but it wasn’t out of surprise; he was genuinely thrilled. "I have been waiting for this moment, you know. I can’t wait to grab some popcorn and watch their corporate building get completely ransacked and destroyed."
"Calm down. It is still too soon for that," Terrence warned, leaning back in his chair. "So, how are we going to successfully nail this? Me just walking in there isn’t going to be enough, you know."
Klein’s smirk widened as he recalled the initial plan they had structured in their minds.
"Of course... They won’t expect you coming, but also, they won’t expect the sudden attack either. You will step in and serve as the savior of the day..."
They both continued their quiet conversation while the ambient background noise of the café masked every detail of their strategy. The sun traveled across the sky from east to west, finally reaching its rich orange hue before nightfall settled over the city.
Soon after, the two of them parted ways with clear minds, every thought perfectly aligned to their upcoming plans.
Terrence made his way back to the hotel where he was staying. As he pushed open the familiar door, the uncanny tidiness of the space made him pause, letting out a soft sigh.
The atmosphere hit him immediately. He couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of loneliness standing alone in this silent room.
Taking a deep breath, he summoned Noir into the space.
"Still doesn’t change the fact," Terrence muttered to himself, looking between the fit of his dark beast, himself, and the sterile hotel room.
He sighed again, running a hand through his hair.
"Maybe if things go well, I will actually buy a house," he said to himself in the quiet room.
Before long, he felt his heavy body falling backward onto the soft mattress of his bed, dozing off until the next day greeted him with a sharp flash of sunlight peeking through the window.
His face twitched from the blinding, piercing light streaming through the glass. He opened his eyes with a groggy, heavy feeling lingering over his frame.
"How heavy..." he muttered aloud, feeling the mundane tiredness that had clung to him ever since starting this relentless revenge plan.
"Can’t I just attack the family once and for all without all these cunning strategies?" He forced himself up, sitting on the edge of the bed as his eyes locked onto the front door. "Fuck it."
Without much motivation for the day ahead, Terrence ate a quick breakfast and prepared to leave the hotel. Shortly after, he was standing directly in front of the storefront whose location Klein had shared with him.
"Looks cheap and tight, but it’s enough for now."
Standing along a long stretch of vacant storefronts, Terrence inspected the shop Klein had purchased. It looked just like any other nearby unit—at least thirty square meters in size, built with clear glass doors and wide windows designed for easy window shopping. The interior was well-lit, featuring freshly painted white walls and a clean counter stationed right at the end opposite the main entrance.
He paused in place, his hand stopping midway before pushing the door open to step inside.
"So, how am I going to fit my beasts in here? Can I even sell them inside a physical space like this?" He questioned his setup, then looked down at the official ownership papers in his hand. "Well, I can start now, to be honest."
Without wasting another second, he started fixing up things inside his shop, decorating whatever he could come up with to at least attract passing crowds to his new startup.
Within just a single day, his shop became noticeably operational as a decent store in the newly opened 5th business district. And within a week, even the surrounding vacant stores began filling up with life.
