Chapter 1710: Part 5: Quasi-God Domain

Main Post (United City)

In the council hall, an intense meeting was going on.

Freya felt their gazes, but she shared nothing with them.

She was glad that Quasi-God Jane had already taken action; no one else would be able to harm Zack Lockwood any longer.

Seeing that Freya was not accusing them, they sighed in relief. They were worried that Freya might complain to Quasi-God Jane.

They didn’t want to offend other Quasi-Gods. It didn’t take long for the meeting to come to an end. Everyone was relieved that everything had been reported to the Quasi-Gods.

Next, they would send further orders down. Until then, they had to be patient. Everyone left the council hall and went back to their homes.

Freya too returned to her residence. After freshening up, she updated her friend Rowena. So much had happened today that she needed someone to share the information with.

So, she contacted her friend Rowena. When the connection was established, she began to share the news with her.

At first, Rowena’s expression was calm, but as she listened, she became more engrossed in the conversation.

She hadn’t expected such developments to take place inside the main post. Anything that happened at the main post would affect their sub-post as well.

What’s more, she didn’t expect Zack Lockwood’s name to take the spotlight. She was worried about Zack Lockwood, but Elder Freya assured her that he was going to be fine.

Quasi-God Jane had taken the necessary action; Zack Lockwood’s future path was safe.

Elder Rowena then came back to her senses. Freya hadn’t shared much, but she told her that Quasi-God Jane would protect Zack Lockwood in the Quasi-God Domain.

Elder Rowena then finally sighed in relief. Later, they shifted the topic to the future of the battlefield.

The battlefield situation was going to change. If changes happened in the main post, they would happen in the sub-post as well.

The current Red Mark Warriors were not ready for the change, so they had to train the next generation of warriors.

The next generation of warriors from the Black Mark Rank needed to possess strength similar to Zack Lockwood’s current level.

However, Elder Freya was realistic. She knew it would be difficult for a second Zack Lockwood to appear.

She knew that Zack Lockwood possessed more than one ancient inheritance. Not only that, but he was a clan bloodline warrior as well.

She had yet to reveal this information to Rowena; she wanted some details to remain secret. Even Rowena had forgotten about it, as the current situation occupied her mind.

The other council elders were having similar conversations. They had no idea what the future would look like.

...

Quasi-God Domain

In this separate domain, the news traveled fast. The assistants of the Quasi-Gods reported back to their masters. The information spread widely across the domain.

There were over a hundred Quasi-Gods living in the domain, including both male and female Quasi-Gods. They were from the universities and other independent organizations.

There were individual clans and families as well. They were as strong as any organization or university because these clans and warrior families had the support of ranks of Quasi-Gods among them.

A few of the families even had ancestors at the level of Demi-Gods.

When these people heard the news, the Quasi-Gods were shocked. They hadn’t expected such a talent to appear on the human side.

They were stunned; they didn’t know how they had missed such important information.

The Quasi-Gods then took action and dispatched their followers to collect intel. The followers in the Tier-3 and Tier-4 regions could utilize their families to gather information.

Quasi-Gods from the six big universities sent followers to gather intelligence from the universities as well.

The other Quasi-Gods from independent organizations and families used their own methods.

Quasi-God Jane resided in her own space. She listened to updates from her assistant.

She knew that the assistants of the other Quasi-Gods were in touch with the council hall elders.

She knew that Zack Lockwood’s existence was now exposed. Everyone would begin digging into Zack Lockwood’s background. Jane’s eyes flashed with a sharp glint.

For the time being, Zack Lockwood’s secrets were safe.

However, if powerhouse Demi-Gods from other factions were to dig in, they could easily find out that Zack Lockwood had more than one ancient inheritance.

His bloodline power would be leaked as well. Still, there was some time before that could happen. She didn’t think the Demi-Gods were free enough to pay attention; they had their own problems.

They wouldn’t spare time for a warrior who was not yet a Quasi-God.

Therefore, she believed Zack Lockwood would not face trouble from the Demi-Gods. However, the Quasi-Gods might take action. She had already placed Zack Lockwood’s name under the Star God Faction.

She didn’t know what the Quasi-Gods would do, but she was looking forward to their next move.

A few hours later, the other Quasi-Gods learned everything.

They all felt envious of Star University. They hadn’t expected Star University to train such a monstrous genius.

Their followers had collected as much intel on Zack Lockwood as possible.

Consequently, they learned about Zack Lockwood’s enemies. The Quasi-Gods from Giant Tower University and Dark Shadow University were furious with their own university elders.

They couldn’t comprehend how their universities had allowed such a monstrous genius to slip away and grow.

Now that the genius warrior was destined to become a Quasi-God in the future, Star University’s status would be strengthened even further.

They already controlled one of the top six factions, the Star God Faction. No one wanted to offend that faction or make enemies of them.

That was why Star University’s standing in the Tier-4 region was unshakeable.

Reactions were mixed; not everyone was pleased about the Star God Faction’s rise.

They were a top faction across every domain. Only smaller factions and independent Quasi-Gods welcomed the news.

They believed that only Star University could train a genius warrior like Zack Lockwood. Knowing that he had slain top-ranked elite creatures as well, these Quasi-Gods rejoiced.

They knew that the powerhouses among the foreign creatures were arrogant-especially the top-ranked elite creatures, who were exceptionally formidable within the Quasi-God ranks.

They even posed a danger to the Quasi-Gods themselves, yet Zack Lockwood had managed to kill them. It was welcome news.

They knew that if Zack Lockwood were to become a Quasi-God in the future, he would terrorize the 4th Rank Sky Battlefield. They eagerly looked forward to that day.
