Chapter 1711: Part 6: Quasi-God Domain
Quasi-God Domain
Knowing that Star University was connected to the Star God Faction, the Quasi-Gods wanted to know whether Zack Lockwood had joined it or not.
They assumed that the people of the Star God Faction must have taken action as well.
It didn’t take long for them to uncover the truth. They discovered that Zack Lockwood’s name had indeed been added to the Star God Faction, authorized personally by Quasi-God Jane.
This was because she served as the head of the Star God Faction within the Quasi-God Domain.
After confirming the news, the Quasi-Gods realized they could not act against Zack Lockwood.
Any hostile action against him would be treated as an attack on the Star God Faction itself.
Doing so would provoke the Quasi-Gods, Demigods, and other powerhouses of the faction.
The last thing they wanted was internal conflict. Thus, they decided to let the matter go.
They had originally involved themselves only to understand what the top-ranked elite creatures were doing on the main battlefield.
Having uncovered the truth, they had achieved their goal.
Even the Quasi-Gods who harbored ill will toward the Star God Faction decided against taking action.
They reasoned that the foreign creatures would be far more eager to eliminate Zack Lockwood-especially the top-ranked elite creatures, who would undoubtedly be infuriated.
Their descendants had been slain by a human Red Mark Warrior. It was a massive humiliation for them, so the Quasi-Gods felt no need to intervene. Instead, they ordered their followers not to trouble Zack Lockwood.
...
Dark Planet
The entire planet was covered in towering, naturally formed black spikes. This dark planet also harbored several hidden dimensions.
The non-elite Quasi-God creatures resided in their own separate space, while the elite creatures occupied another distinct domain altogether.
Among them, the top-ranked elite creatures had a space exclusively for themselves.
It was essentially three separate realms for three distinct tiers of creatures.
All the Quasi-Gods had received word regarding the deaths of the top-ranked elites’ descendants.
Especially the death of the offspring of the Jelloth and the human-faced elite, the second- and third-ranked top elite creatures.
The news came as a massive shock to everyone. The ordinary Quasi-God creatures were stunned.
They had never expected anyone to dare kill the descendants of top-ranked elite creatures, and they were astonished by the prowess of the human warriors.
The human warriors they had previously encountered were never that formidable; none could withstand their attacks.
Confused and unsettled, they sought to gather more information to understand the full picture.
Meanwhile, the dimensions housing the elite and top-ranked elite creatures were thrown into turmoil.
Sleeping elite creatures throughout their designated realm were abruptly awakened.
They could not fathom how a fragile human had managed to kill the offspring of top-ranked elites. They, too, dispatched subordinates to gather intelligence.
Inside the domain of the top-ranked elite creatures, utter chaos reigned. The top-ranked elites unleashed furious roars, releasing their suffocating aura.
The terrifying Quasi-God power surged outward, shaking the surroundings and alarming the other top-ranked elites.
The onlookers could not comprehend why the Quasi-God Jelloth and the Quasi-God Human-Faced Creature were causing such a disturbance.
As two of the strongest beings present, their unrest was terrifying. None of the other top-ranked creatures dared approach them, the fourth- and fifth-ranked creatures in particular shrank back in fear.
They were significantly weaker than the second- and third-ranked elites. Among the gathered powerhouses, the Venom Maw was present as well.
The Venom Maw Quasi-God had previously heard the name Zack Lockwood. It could not help but suspect whether this incident was tied to that young human warrior.
Apart from that young Red Mark Warrior, it doubted any other human possessed such capability.
However, it chose not to mention this to the second-ranked Jelloth and the third-ranked Human-Faced Creature.
They could deduce it on their own later. Right now, there was a far more pressing concern: preserving their dimensional realm.
Otherwise, these two berserk Quasi-Gods might tear the space apart. Yet, none of the onlookers dared step forward to intervene.
Only the first-ranked elite creature had the power to beat sense back into them. At the mere thought of that entity, even the Venom Maw felt a surge of dread.
The first-ranked creature was far more dangerous and notoriously short-tempered. The Venom Maw secretly hoped it would remain undisturbed.
Boom!
Shockwaves continued to ripple through the environment. Sensing impending disaster, the remaining elite creatures grew anxious that the hidden dimension might collapse at any moment.
As time passed, the spatial fabric began to destabilize, putting pressure on the nearby elites. The two enraged creatures showed no sign of calming down.
Boom!
Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed across the void. A spatial rift tore open directly above the two rampaging elites. An instant later, an overwhelming force descended upon them.
The impact instantly snapped both the Jelloth and the Human-Faced Creature out of their frenzy. The crushing pressure radiated throughout the entire dimension.
Forced down by the sheer terror emanating from the rift, the other elites dropped flat against the ground.
Even the Venom Maw lowered its massive body until it was nearly pressed against the earth, its frame trembling uncontrollably.
It had just been thinking about the first-ranked creature, never expecting it to actually intervene.
Surveying the devastation around them, the Jelloth and the Human-Faced Creature realized their folly. They immediately turned toward the spatial rift and bowed in apology.
A moment later, the rift sealed shut, and the dimensional space stabilized. The tremors ceased, and the oppressive atmosphere dissipated.
The two chastened creatures noticed that the other elites had emerged from their dwellings, but offered no apologies to them.
Instead, they retreated into their own residences to tend to matters of greater importance.
The Venom Maw and the other spectators had anticipated this reaction and were hardly surprised.
One by one, the elite creatures dispersed back to their territories, murmuring among themselves about the appearance of the spatial rift.
The status of the first-ranked creature was absolute. No one dared cross it-or its kin.
