Chapter 1681: Red Mark Warrior (Sealing Power)

Secret Land Battlefield:

The hidden guardian god blood had become stronger. The winged creature was dying inside the sealing force.

Boom!

Right then, something clicked in my mind. The dull golden shield rune in my mind broke through its limit and entered the Red Mark Rank.

It immediately gained a crimson border. At the same time, information about the Red Mark Chapter appeared in my mind.

Red Mark Warrior (Sealing Force)

Right then, a surge of energy drifted toward my body. It didn’t take long for it to reach me.

When the surge of energy entered my body, I began to circulate it along the path.

The energy contained a higher concentration of the special energy. Now the power of the sealing force also circulated through my body.

After completing the circulation, the energy settled inside my dantian. It occupied the spot of the sealing force inheritance.

Now, after the breakthrough, the new sealing force had a crimson border. It was the sign of the Red Mark Level Inheritance power.

The ancient spirit was dumbfounded. It had only just reminded Zack Lockwood earlier.

It hadn’t expected Zack Lockwood to achieve a breakthrough using this opportunity.

The frozen winged creature had now died. The sealing force lifted from it, and it plummeted to the ground with a heavy thud.

Thud!

The shockwave spread across the area.

I ignored it and continued to absorb energy from the surroundings to stabilize my strength.

The ancient spirit sighed in relief. It had been worried that the foreign creature might do something, but Zack Lockwood was able to break through before that could happen.

One hour later,

The new breakthrough was stabilized. Next, I opened my eyes. My lips curved into a smile.

I hadn’t expected both types of runes to become Red Mark Runes with crimson borders.

I had achieved an unexpected breakthrough inside the secret land battlefield. Now, I needed to shift my focus to the other runes.

It was time to focus on them as well. Then, I turned my attention to the additional information in my mind.

It was information about the Red Mark Chapter of the Sealing Inheritance. I decided to practice after leaving the battlefield.

The space inside the dantian has grown. The overall Physique strength went one step higher.

Right now, I had to fight against the other creatures on the battlefield.

"Ancient spirit, you have finally given the right advice after a long time," I said.

"I didn’t expect you to break through either," the ancient spirit replied.

Boom!

Just then, I spotted a humanoid creature walking out of the bushes. It was a single-horned elite creature.

The creature had hidden dark energy inside its body, giving off a Red Mark Aura.

At the same time, I shifted my full attention toward it. It was time to test the power of the Red Mark Level Sealing Force.

Boom!

The humanoid creature charged at me. My gaze locked onto it as I circulated the Red Mark Level Sealing Force through my body.

I didn’t charge at the creature; instead, I waited for it to come to me. The moment it appeared before me,

Boom!

My fist snapped out and struck its body. The sealing force slammed into the humanoid form.

Golden spiderwebs with crimson borders covered the entire creature in the blink of an eye.

Boom!

The humanoid creature was not only frozen on the spot, but its vitality was also draining at a rapid pace. I could see its dark energy plummeting.

Before my eyes, the humanoid creature turned into a lifeless husk. When the sealing power dissipated, the residual force blasted the creature back.

Boom!

The humanoid creature’s body crashed into the ground.

Buzz!

Just then, the ground shook. I felt a force of rejection from the secret land. Before I realized what was happening, I found myself outside the space crack once again.

Thud!

I landed firmly on the ground outside. Looking around, I realized I was the only one standing there.

The rest of the Red Mark Warriors had likely already departed. Taking a deep breath, I turned and headed back toward the residence.

Swoosh!

It didn’t take long for me to reach my quarters. After entering the room, I went straight to the bathroom to take a shower.

The shower lasted for twenty minutes. Stepping out, I changed into casual clothes. Only then did I finally feel relaxed.

The battle in the secret land had come as a surprise, but I had successfully broken through while inside.

Meanwhile,

The council elders received the report that the special battle was over and Zack Lockwood had returned safely. However, they had no time to focus on that.

The main battlefield had turned into a disaster this time. Many Red Mark Warriors were injured, and there were several casualties as well.

The council elders gathered in the council hall.

Their faces were grim. They hadn’t expected the foreign creatures to shift gears so suddenly; their attack pattern had been unusually aggressive.

The enemy had deployed a powerful elite creature onto the battlefield, known as the Thorn Reaper.

"Does anyone know about the Thorn Reaper?" one of the council elders asked.

Most had only heard the name in stories, and very few had ever faced the creature firsthand.

Among the elders present, Freya was one of those few. Right now, her expression was complicated. The name Thorn Reaper brought back grim memories.

She was among the handful of survivors who had escaped the Thorn Reaper during their early battles. She had lost many friends back then.

Some of them had possessed ancient-level inheritances, yet they had still perished. She hated recalling those dark days.

From what she remembered, these creatures were few in number, which was why the enemy rarely deployed them.

She hadn’t expected one to appear this time. In her eyes, it was a stroke of fortune that so many had survived at all; otherwise, the casualties would have been catastrophic.

None of the elders spoke for a long minute. Total silence filled the room. Then, one of the veteran elders began to speak, recounting details from the early days.

The council elders listened to him patiently.

Their expressions remained tense. They hadn’t anticipated the Thorn Reaper to be so terrifying. Preoccupied by the creature’s appearance, they completely put Zack Lockwood out of their minds.

Since Zack Lockwood had survived, it was simply considered good news.

None of them spared a thought for his battle, assuming he had merely relied on his lightning power to finish off the creatures.
