Ancient Tears BloodLine
Chapter 1682: Regular Routine
The Dark Planet
While this was going on, on the other side, the Quasi-God Venom Creature and a few others were looking for the human warrior named Zack Lockwood.
The genius human warrior was last seen on the main battlefield, where he had carried out a one-sided slaughter of the foreign creatures.
Ever since that day, the foreign creatures’ side, especially the Quasi-God-level creatures had raised the threat level of Zack Lockwood.
They had even agreed to break the rules if the genius human warrior ever appeared on the main battlefield again.
It was part of their plan to send the Thorn Reaper to another main battlefield where the veterans fought. They wanted to see whether the humans would continue to hide their genius or release him.
If Zack Lockwood had appeared on the battlefield, the outcome would have been different. They knew the human genius had a good chance of saving more humans.
Since the human genius named Zack Lockwood did not appear today, they planned to send more Thorn Reapers. This order was conveyed down the chain of command.
Meanwhile,
A similar meeting was taking place among the elders, mirroring the meeting on the human side. They had deployed a Thorn Reaper, but they were not satisfied with the results.
They had wanted a complete slaughter on the main battlefields, but a significant number of human warriors were able to escape in the end.
They knew there was a difference between the Red Mark Warriors at the sub-posts and the Red Mark Warriors at the main post.
The Red Mark Warriors at the main post were well-trained veterans. Their techniques had reached their peak; they were only one step away from becoming Quasi-Gods.
However, that opportunity was hard to come by, so these Red Mark Warriors were not easy to defeat. They had held their ground well against the elite creatures.
Thus, it was not surprising that they survived the Thorn Reaper. Still, the elders were glad they managed to whittle down the human veterans.
The human side would not be able to recover from this in a short period; it takes a long time for warriors to become veteran Red Mark Warriors.
The foreign creatures resolved to send both the Thorn Reaper and the Dead Fang, along with other elite creatures, in accordance with the higher-ups’ orders.
The addition of the Dead Fang would further weaken the human side.
The humans could never have imagined that their enemies would be willing to deploy such powerful elite creatures against them.
...
The following day,
I woke up and followed my regular routine, which lasted for an hour. Next, I entered the essence chamber to cultivate.
I had consumed a large amount of golden sealing force during the battle.
Inside the essence chamber, I flipped the console switches. Energy began to circulate, quickly saturating the room.
Once the room was completely filled with energy, I walked to the center and sat cross-legged on the floor. Then, I closed my eyes and began to circulate the new Red Mark Chapter of the Sealing Force.
As time passed, the dull golden shield rune in my mind began to glow. As its pulsing intensified, the sealing force power, along with a surge of special energy, flowed into my body.
When the surge entered my body, I began to guide it along my energy pathways.
After completing a full circulation, the sealing force settled inside my dantian. The space within the dantian was wider and larger than before.
I could accommodate more inheritance force now. The dark lightning sprout began absorbing the special energy. Seeing that, I felt my strength returning, so I continued the process.
Time passed.
When I finished cultivating the sealing force, I switched to the dark purple lightning technique.
I trained until the dark purple lightning force, which had been nearly depleted, was completely restored. I had only used a little against the foreign creatures, but I practiced until the lightning energy was full.
After noon,
I exited the essence chamber. I had plans today, so I took a quick shower. Afterward, I put on my uniform.
Next, I left for the training camp. Reaching the main street, I hailed a cab and hopped inside, directing the driver toward the camp.
The ancient spirit had been watching silently. It had assumed Zack Lockwood would remain inside the essence chamber and did not understand why I was heading out.
"What are you going to do?" the ancient spirit asked.
Hearing that, I did not respond because I was in the back seat of the cab. The driver started the engine, and we headed toward our destination.
I kept quiet until we arrived at the training camp. I stepped out of the cab, paid the fare, and turned toward the facility as the vehicle pulled away.
"I figured out a way to become a Red Mark Warrior faster," I said with a smile.
"What is it?" the ancient spirit asked.
"Fighting. During the battle against the foreign creatures, I gained a lot of inspiration. I plan to do the same in the Night Cell Tower," I replied. The ancient spirit fell silent.
I walked through the hallways and soon reached the Night Cell Tower. No one was outside; most warriors were focused on other challenges.
I shook my head before walking straight up to the entrance.
I scanned my ID, and my name flashed across the display. Then, I selected my challenge.
I had already cleared the Tier 3 challenge twice, which meant I had fought six battles previously. This time, I decided to start from the beginning again.
After selecting the Tier 3 challenge once more, I waited for the doors to open. The main gate slid open, and I stepped through. It sealed shut behind me automatically.
It was time to face the first trial. I didn’t know whether my opponent would be a criminal or a foreign creature this time around.
I’m looking forward to fighting them. I’m hoping the rest of the inheritance will become Red Mark Level this time.
