Chapter 1680: Improving the Sealing Force Rune

United City (Main Post)

After slaying some foreign creatures, I sat on the bedrock nearby. I began to take a short break. Using this time, the ancient spirit began to give advice.

It wanted me to focus on the sealing force power.

"You have reached the Red Mark Level already in lightning power. It’s time to focus on another inheritance. You should start with sealing force power next," the ancient spirit said.

"You have been talking about the sealing force from the beginning. Then I will start using the power of the sealing force next," I replied.

"Good," the ancient spirit replied.

A few minutes later,

I stood up and began to explore the secret land. It was not like other main battlefields. It was a special secret land battlefield created for me.

I used my senses to cover the place. It didn’t take long for me to spot a lurking Corrupted beast. It was a weird-shaped foreign creature giving off the aura of a Red Mark Warrior.

Seeing that, I began to circulate the sealing force power in my body. I looked at the staff before putting it away inside the storage ring.

I decided to fight using bare hands. I could feel the surge of sealing power inside my body.

Boom!

At the same time, the weird foreign creature felt something was off. It had spotted the human some time ago. It was waiting for an ambush.

But it didn’t expect the human to find it. Seeing that the human was just standing there without responding, it felt something was off.

Boom!

The weird creature made an attack. It had many protruding parts extending from its body. All of them carried a dark origin power.

If the dark origin power were to land on the body of the human warrior, the human warrior could be injured right away.

Swoosh!

The weird-shaped foreign creature darted forward. In the blink of an eye, the creature appeared before the human.

Seeing that the human was unresponsive, it was delighted to attack. It wanted to smash the human’s head into pieces.

Boom!

Just before the creature’s attack touched my body, I responded with a counter-punch. The counter-punch was filled with sealing force power.

In a flash, both attacks came into contact with each other. The next second, the dull golden sealing force power acted.

The power covered the extending tentacles like spiderwebs. The massive creature stood frozen on the spot.

In the blink of an eye, I saw the golden sealing force power reaching the rest of its body.

On the other hand, the ancient spirit was glad that Zack Lockwood listened to its advice. It then said, "Pay attention to the inner workings of the sealing force. You might get inspiration from it."

Hearing that, I began to pay attention. My vision grew sharper. I tried to see through the workings of the sealing force power.

It didn’t take long for me to notice that the weird creature was not only frozen in mid-air, but the vitality in its body was slipping away slightly.

The sealing force power was actually draining the vitality of the creature. Suddenly, the dull golden shield in my mind began to shine.

Seeing that, I started to gain inspiration. I touched the foreign creature again with the dull golden sealing force power.

Swoosh!

Once again, the sealing force power spread across the body of the creature, making the seal stronger. The foreign creature couldn’t even move.

At the same time, my understanding of the sealing inheritance deepened.

On the other hand, the ancient spirit was worried that other foreign creatures could ambush Zack Lockwood.

So the ancient spirit kept an eye on the surroundings.

It didn’t take long for the vitality of the creature to come to an end. The weird-shaped foreign creature wouldn’t have imagined that it would die without being able to do anything.

When the creature died, it became like an empty shell. The quantity of the dark origin power was reduced as well.

Thud!

The seal was lifted. The weird-shaped foreign creature then dropped to the ground.

On the other hand, I was still getting closer to a deeper understanding, but I had to find the next foreign creature for target practice.

If I did that, the current inspiration would break. So I began to look around for a place to sit. I found the closest rock and walked up to it.

I sat down on the rock. Then I closed my eyes, fully immersed in the sealing force power. It didn’t take long for the Guardian God’s bloodline power in my body to get triggered.

It came as an unexpected surprise. My understanding of the sealing force power grew deeper. Now, because of the guardian blood, the power surged forth.

The dull golden shield rune grew clearer. It would be a matter of time before the dull golden sealing power reached the Red Mark Rank.

Boom!

At this time, a black-winged creature flew across the sky. It was looking for an enemy. Next, it caught the scent of a human on the wind.

The winged creature began to circle in mid-air. Next, it saw someone sitting on a rock in that place. It was none other than a human.

The winged creature didn’t expect to see a Red Mark Human on the ground. Seeing that, it immediately dove down. It wanted to take the human’s life.

On the other hand, the ancient spirit noticed the threat of the foreign creature. It immediately warned Zack Lockwood.

My focus was increasing. I just needed one last push to enter the Red Mark Level. Just then, I heard the ancient spirit’s voice.

Knowing that a flying foreign creature was coming towards me, I opened my eyes abruptly before catching the attack of the flying creature.

Boom!

My hand came into contact with the body of the creature. The whole body of the foreign creature froze in the air. The sealing force covered the creature like spiderwebs.

This time, the concentration of the sealing force was stronger. My eyes caught more details. The sealing force power was draining vitality at a faster rate.

I could see the draining of the life force at a visible rate. The sealing force was destroying the dark origin power as well.

It was only a matter of time before the creature became an empty husk. Meanwhile, the sealing force rune had become denser.
