Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things
Chapter 507: The Topic of War
Chapter 507 -254: The Topic of War
Perhaps because he had experience transforming the Power of Rules, devising a method for transforming Rule Origin took far less time than Pei Ze had anticipated.
It took only about seven months to successfully complete the plan.
During this time, Pei Ze had already created as many as thirty-five Space Rule Crystals within his body.
Thirty-five brilliant crystals floated in his Sea of Consciousness, but Pei Ze felt no discernible sense of strain.
Clearly, this number was still far from his limit.
Back when his comprehension of the Rule of Space was less than 1%, he could already handle more than ten Space Rule Crystals at once.
Now that his comprehension of the Rule of Space exceeded 60%, Pei Ze estimated that handling a hundred or so Space Rule Crystals would be no problem at all.
‘Time to begin the conversion.’
Pei Ze sat cross-legged on the ground, took a deep breath, and centered himself to begin converting the Rule Origin.
Deep within his Sea of Consciousness, invisible to the naked eye, a dozen or so Space Rule Crystals abruptly cracked and shattered, dissolving into a hazy silver mist. The mist then fused together, pulsing like a beating heart as it shrank and condensed, gradually transforming back into a crystalline form.
Whenever the mist’s rate of condensation slowed, Pei Ze would shatter another Space Rule Crystal to replenish it.
An unknown amount of time passed. When the mist from the thirtieth shattered Space Rule Crystal joined the amalgam, the entire cloud contracted sharply inward and solidified, becoming a beautiful, dazzlingly silver crystal.
“Success!”
Pei Ze opened his eyes and exhaled a long sigh of relief, a joyful look spreading across his face.
‘Thank goodness the conversion succeeded with only thirty Space Rule Crystals. If it had taken more than thirty-five, this attempt would have been a failure. I would have had to wait until I’d accumulated more Space Rule Crystals before trying again.’
‘What a powerful Rule aura.’
Pei Ze gazed at the Rule Origin Crystal in his Sea of Consciousness, distinctly feeling the astonishing aura emanating from it.
Though he hadn’t tested it in actual combat, Pei Ze knew its power wasn’t merely the sum of thirty Space Rule Crystals—it far surpassed that.
Then, a thought struck him, and he hurriedly summoned the Eye of Omniscience.
One look was all it took for a delighted and surprised expression to appear on Pei Ze’s face.
[Rule of Space: 65.41%]
His comprehension of the Rule of Space had actually increased by about 1%.
‘So converting Rule Origin can increase comprehension progress after all.’
‘And by a lot more than just converting the Power of Rules!’
Overjoyed, Pei Ze quickly made a mental calculation.
It currently took him about 9 days to create one Rule Crystal, meaning thirty crystals would take around 270 days.
Adding the 30 days spent converting to Rule Origin, he could create one Rule Origin Crystal in about eight months on average, increasing his comprehension of the Rule of Space by roughly 1%.
This rate was far more efficient than simple meditation.
At this rate, he could completely master the Rule of Space in twenty-three years at most—innumerably faster than his original estimate of over three hundred years.
Pei Ze nodded to himself.
For a Sixth-level Wizard, twenty-three years would pass in the blink of an eye.
Ascending to the rank of Rule Wizard in such a short period was something an ordinary Sixth-level Wizard could scarcely imagine.
After composing himself, Pei Ze wasted no time and immediately resumed the process of converting Rule Origin.
Time flew by.
As he created two more Rule Origin Crystals, Pei Ze’s comprehension of the Rule of Space increased by another 2%.
But at the same time, that familiar feeling of strain returned.
‘So three Rule Origin Crystals is my limit.’
Pei Ze sighed, a touch of regret in his voice.
‘But then again,’ he thought, ‘Rule Origin is an eighth-level power.’
A single Rule Origin Crystal could likely inflict heavy damage on an ordinary Rule Wizard.
Three Rule Origin Crystals were more formidable than hundreds of Rule Crystals combined.
With this trump card up his sleeve, he could even hold his own against a Seventh-level Wizard. He couldn’t ask for more.
‘If I want to keep creating more Rule Origin, I’ll have to expend one of the ones I have.’
After some thought, Pei Ze decided he couldn’t let the Rule Origin he’d worked so hard to create go to waste. He might as well make a trip to the Thunder Elemental Plane, use the Rule Origin to hunt a Demigod-level Thunder Elemental Giant Spirit, and get his hands on an Elemental Core.
An Elemental Core from a Demigod-level Elemental Giant Spirit was exceptionally valuable. Whether he saved it to build an Elemental Melting Furnace later or sold it for a fortune, the returns would be substantial.
Deciding on his course of action, Pei Ze was just about to teleport to the Thunder Elemental Plane when he suddenly received a message from Tower Spirit 1.
[Master, a message has arrived from the Dawn Council.]
Pei Ze raised an eyebrow and immediately ordered Tower Spirit 1 to relay the message.
It was a notice for an impromptu meeting.
Lost in thought, Pei Ze had no choice but to shelve his plans for the Thunder Elemental Plane and prepare for the meeting.
…
In a spacious and brightly lit hall.
Around the circular conference table, all nine chairs were occupied by translucent figures—they were all projections.
All nine permanent Councillors of the Dawn Council were present.
Seated at the head of the table was Xi Nan, who had recently successfully advanced to the rank of Rule Wizard.
After his promotion to Rule Wizard, Xi Nan had dedicated most of his time to consolidating his new realm. He rarely concerned himself with the Dawn Council’s affairs, leaving the vast majority of duties to be managed jointly by Mo Weng, Yin Yongqin, and Ji Zhang.
Yet here he was, attending the meeting, which was a testament to the importance of the agenda to follow.
“Everyone is here.”
Xi Nan’s gaze swept across the table, his expression solemn.
“Then let’s begin today’s agenda.”
“A short while ago, Pan Mo advanced to the rank of Rule Wizard. He has joined forces with Lady Fungi and is currently residing in her domain.”
