Chapter 342 - 192: Instantaneous Energy Body, Thunderbolt Demigod Blood
Chapter 342: Chapter 192: Instantaneous Energy Body, Thunderbolt Demigod Blood
Mo Weng immediately understood. He raised an eyebrow and asked, "You want to use the blood of Magical Creatures to increase your elemental affinity?"
"Yes," Pei Ze admitted openly. There was nothing to hide.
Mo Weng grew thoughtful. After a long moment, he said slowly, "They do exist, but Magical Creatures of that level are usually extremely rare. Capturing them is both time-consuming and difficult."
Pei Ze frowned. "Then is there anywhere in Chenxi City, or other Wizard Cities, that sells these kinds of Magical Creatures?"
"The Alliance Capital might, but they typically only show up at auctions. Alternatively, you could look into which Wizards enjoy collecting and raising Magical Creatures. They might have some."
Pei Ze was disappointed to hear that.
Auctions were too unpredictable; he’d have to get lucky.
Besides, Wizards who raised Third-level Magical Creatures were almost all Level 4 Wizards. Someone of that caliber would never trade with a Crystal Wizard like him.
Even if one was willing, he had nothing they would want.
That path was basically a dead end.
’Maybe I should ask the Travelers’ Association?’
Pei Ze wondered.
Just then, Mo Weng suddenly said, "Actually, there might be another way."
Pei Ze looked up in surprise and quickly asked, "What do you mean, Teacher?"
Mo Weng said calmly, "Just half a month ago, our combined forces, along with Red Lotus City, annihilated the Storm Sect Country on the Turin Plane."
Pei Ze nodded slightly, unsurprised.
News of this had spread throughout Chenxi City long ago, so he’d already heard.
"Now, only the Thunder Sect Country remains on the Turin Plane. The main forces of our army and Red Lotus City’s are concentrated around it. Three days ago, three Councillors joined forces and killed two Demigods under the command of the Lord of Thunder."
Hearing this, Pei Ze grew pensive. He had a faint idea of what Mo Weng was getting at.
"You mean... I should use Demigod Blood instead of the blood of a Magical Creature?"
Mo Weng said nonchalantly, "Strictly speaking, any being whose body has been saturated with Energy Particles for years can be considered a Magical Creature. That includes Wizards like you and me, and even Demigods."
"Those two Demigods both mastered Thunder Divine Power. Their blood contains an extremely high concentration of thunder elements, and even a trace of the Rule of Thunder. If you use their blood to strengthen your body instead of a Magical Creature’s, the results will be even better."
An excited expression appeared on Pei Ze’s face.
’Now that I think about it, that sounds like an excellent idea.’
A Demigod has power at the Sixth Level, at minimum.
A single drop of blood from a being of that caliber would be worth more than all the blood from hundreds of Third-level Magical Creatures!
As for how to use the Demigod Blood for enhancement, that wasn’t a concern.
Over the years, the Star Realm Alliance had slain countless Divine Spirits and Demigods, researching them with painstaking thoroughness. Countless Wizards had used Demigod Blood to strengthen their bodies over the past ten thousand years; there was an overwhelming amount of related techniques and knowledge available.
’Even if there wasn’t, I still have the Eye of Omniscience. I could figure out the right technique in minutes.’
’The real problem is how to get my hands on some Demigod Blood!’
’Should I give up the rare metals and ask the Council for Demigod Blood instead?’
Just as Pei Ze was thinking this, he caught a glimpse of a dark shadow floating toward him from the corner of his eye. He subconsciously reached out and caught it, finding a small glass vial in his hand.
"There are three drops of Demigod Blood in here. It’s more than enough for you."
Mo Weng said calmly. Seeing that Pei Ze was about to speak, he waved his hand to cut him off.
"Consider it my gift for your advancement to Level 3 Wizard."
Pei Ze hesitated for a moment but ultimately accepted it.
"Thank you, Teacher."
...
Leaving Medicine Garden No. 8, Pei Ze felt a stir of excitement. He hadn’t expected to solve the issue of the Magical Creature blood on this trip. It was a pleasant surprise.
’With these three drops of Demigod Blood, it should be enough to raise my thunder elemental affinity to the highest level.’
’And I have the technique, too.’
Pei Ze glanced at the Space Ring on his hand. Inside was the information Mo Weng had given him on the technique for strengthening one’s body with Demigod Blood.
’Of course, I’ll still have to use the Eye of Omniscience later to modify it into a version best suited for my body.’
’I’ll start modifying it as soon as I get back.’
Pei Ze’s eyes lit up, already impatient to begin the enhancement.
...
「Dark Territory.」
Gu Lin stood atop a jagged rock, her eyes wide as she gazed into the distance at Bean City. It was shrouded in gloom, its silhouette barely visible.
A moment later, she hopped off the rock and sat beside Annie. She frowned and whispered, "Annie, are we really going to attack Bean City?"
Ever since discovering traces of a Godspawn, Annie’s curiosity had been piqued. She had dragged Gu Lin all the way here, wanting to capture a more powerful infected creature to study.
They eventually found a cave that seemed to be a nest for these infected creatures, but it had already been completely cleared out.
The trail went cold. Left with no other choice, Annie turned her attention to the nearby Dark Elf Clan.
"This nest is not far from Bean City. There’s no way the Dark Elves didn’t notice it. It’s highly likely they’re the ones who wiped out the infected creatures. The Gals Clan must know something."
"And if they don’t?"
"Then we’ll make them do the grunt work of searching for traces of the Godspawn and the infected creatures."
Gu Lin was left speechless.
Thinking about it, the Dark Territory was the Dark Elves’ domain. It didn’t seem unreasonable for them to contribute to their own homeland.
Of course, the Dark Elves themselves would surely disagree.
