Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things

Chapter 341: Chapter 192: Instantaneous Energy Body, Thunderbolt Demigod Blood (Part 2)
Elemental Crystal Dust is the powder left behind after an Elemental Spirit dies.
Elemental Spirits typically live only in the various Elemental Half-Planes.
If that were the only issue, it would be manageable. While Elemental Crystal Dust is valuable, the Travelers’ Association certainly sells it. As long as one is willing to spend the money, it isn’t difficult to acquire.
The problem, however, is that the elemental affinity potion requires Elemental Crystal Dust that is no more than twenty-four hours old.
This meant that if he wanted to concoct the elemental affinity potion, Pei Ze would have to personally travel to an Elemental Half-Plane to hunt Elemental Spirits and obtain ’fresh’ ingredients.
’Looks like I’ll have to make a trip to the Thunder Elemental Half-Plane.’
Pei Ze’s eyes glinted.
The Thunder Elemental Half-Plane, much like the Shadow Realm, is considered an outer plane. However, its environment is even more hostile. If he wanted to go there, he would need to make some preparations beforehand.
’Eye of Omniscience, analyze the formula for the Thunder Elemental Affinity Potion.’
[Task Created. Beginning analysis of the Thunder Elemental Affinity Potion formula. Estimated requirement: 78.2 energy levels of Spiritual Power.]
The difficulty of analyzing a Tier Five Potion was indeed much higher than that of Tier Three or Four Potions. Fortunately, for Pei Ze, whose Spiritual Power was approaching six hundred energy levels, this was no problem at all.
With a mere thought, the analysis of the formula was complete.
Pei Ze set aside the potion formula for the moment and turned his attention to the second method.
He had actually used the second method before: strengthening his body with the blood of Magical Creatures.
This method fell somewhere between physical modification and bloodline fusion. While its effects weren’t as potent as bloodline fusion, it also didn’t carry the numerous side effects of physical modification, making it a middle ground between the two.
It was worth noting that the technique described in the materials was also derived from the blood enhancement techniques of the Bloodline Wizard Clans.
After being modified, the technique could be used by ordinary Wizards, though its effects were far inferior to the original.
It couldn’t even compare to the version Pei Ze had modified using his Eye of Omniscience.
’The elemental affinity potion and the blood enhancement technique... I’ll have to use both methods simultaneously. A two-pronged approach is the only way to increase my elemental affinity faster.’
Pei Ze immediately formulated a plan.
He needed at least another year to increase his Spiritual Power to the level required to ignite the Elemental Fire. In the meantime, he could work on increasing his elemental affinity as much as possible, hopefully achieving a perfect-grade Heart of Elements.
After all, his three Spirit Crystals were larger than those of other Wizards, granting him more Spiritual Power. Naturally, this also meant the difficulty of igniting his Elemental Fire would be far greater.
Without thorough preparations, advancing to the rank of Elemental Mage would not be easy.
He didn’t have to worry too much about his physique. Both the growth of his Spiritual Power and the process of strengthening his body with the blood of Magical Creatures would enhance it.
By the time his Spiritual Power and elemental affinity met the requirements, his physique would likely be sufficient as well.
His mind raced as he quickly laid out his plans for the future.
First, the analysis of ancient runes. This was his top priority.
Next, he would select suitable Magical Creatures and obtain their blood to enhance his body.
Then there was the matter of strengthening Silver Star.
Silver Star was currently at a Tier Four +0 level. It hadn’t absorbed any metal combinations since evolving into a Tier Four Witchcraft Artifact. Before it could break through to the third stage of crystallization, it would be best to strengthen it to its limit.
Pei Ze wasn’t too worried about this. After all, Mo Weng had said the Dawn Council would provide him with a certain degree of support.
’In that case, I might as well just ask the Council for a sufficient supply of rare metals.’
’That would save me a huge sum of Magic Crystal Stones.’
’And then there’s Magic.’
Pei Ze had already finished imprinting his Five-Ring Magic. His third Spirit Crystal still had twenty facets left, which he had reserved for Sixth Ring Spells.
He had already purchased the corresponding model books for Sixth Ring Spells from the Travelers’ Association; he just needed to find the time to study them.
Finally, he needed to prepare to enter the Thunder Elemental Half-Plane.
If nothing else, he would definitely need to prepare some lightning-resistance gear.
Otherwise, the ubiquitous elemental corrosion and lightning strikes of the Thunder Elemental Half-Plane would be enough to wear him down and kill him.
’First, I’ll take care of the metal combinations for Silver Star.’
Pei Ze left the Meditation Room and headed for High Tower Academy.
...
"You want rare metals?"
Looking at the list of rare metals in his hand, Mo Weng frowned slightly and asked for confirmation again.
"Are you sure you want to use the Dawn Council’s support for this?"
In Mo Weng’s mind, Pei Ze should have asked the Dawn Council for some wondrous items capable of increasing his Spiritual Power.
After all, his main task at this stage was to break through to the liquefaction and crystallization stages as quickly as possible.
While strengthening a Witchcraft Artifact could also increase his power, rare metals could simply be bought with money. With Pei Ze’s skill at potion-making, earning money wasn’t difficult. There was no need to waste the precious support allotment on something like this.
But Pei Ze didn’t see it that way.
With the ancient runes, he was confident he could raise his Spiritual Power to the level required to ignite the Elemental Fire within a year. There was no need to use wondrous items to increase it further.
And once he became an Elemental Mage, those items for increasing Spiritual Power would be completely useless to him anyway.
It was much better to just exchange the support for rare metals.
Besides, he was going to be busy with many other things and likely wouldn’t have much time to make money by concocting potions.
"I’m sure, Teacher."
Seeing Pei Ze’s determined expression, Mo Weng pondered for a moment and decided not to press the issue, giving a slight nod.
"Alright. I will submit the application to the Council for you later."
"Thank you, Teacher." Pei Ze bowed slightly, then changed the subject. "Teacher, I have another question for you."
"Go on."
"Are there any common Tier Three, lightning-type Magical Creatures? Preferably ones that have blood."
