Chapter 225: Chapter 225: Head Broken for Sienna, Three Brothers Vying for Favor

Keith Sterling couldn’t agree more. He pushed open the car door, wanting to get out too. "Yeah, yeah! Let my bro go with you!"

’Who knows what that psycho Wyatt Everett is up to, suddenly tailing them like this?’

’When I think about how Wyatt Everett used to treat and abuse Sierra in the Everett family home, I can’t rest easy unless I get out of the car with her.’

Sienna met Julian Forrester’s gaze. The worry and concern she saw deep in his eyes were like morning mist in a mountain valley, refusing to disperse.

’Her heart stirred as an irrepressible warmth and thrill washed over her. This feeling... of being constantly cherished, held at the very center of someone’s heart...’

The tip of her nose tingled, but her eyes curved into a radiant smile. "Don’t worry, it’s fine. Wyatt Everett wouldn’t dare do anything to me now. You two just wait for me in the car."

Julian Forrester frowned.

Sienna squeezed his hand in return, her thumb stroking the back of his cool, pale hand reassuringly. "Really, I’ll be back very soon. Besides, you’ll be right here in the car. If anything really were to happen, you could get out and find me in an instant."

Julian Forrester’s gaze darkened as he mulled it over for a moment.

’It’s true. The Wyatt Everett of today wouldn’t dare do anything to her.’

Only then did he reluctantly release her hand, adding a reminder, "Come back soon."

"Mhm!" Sienna agreed sweetly, then pushed open the car door and stepped out.

In Wyatt Everett’s car behind them.

Seeing the car in front suddenly stop, Dustin Everett was completely bewildered. "Why did they just stop? Should we stop too?"

Wyatt Everett brought the car to a halt. "Yeah, let’s stop for now. See if something’s happened with Sienna..."

Before Wyatt Everett could finish speaking, Dustin Everett cried out, "Wyatt! Lucas! Sienna got out of the car! Wh-why is she walking over to us?"

Lucas Everett was taken aback. ’Sienna’s spotted us?’

’Or is she just heading to a nearby supermarket to buy something?’

Just as he was wondering, Sienna walked right up to their car and tapped impatiently on the window.

Wyatt Everett froze, then, overjoyed, he rolled down the window. "Sienna! You came looking for us?"

Sienna almost scoffed. ’Looking for them?’

Peeking through the window... ’Great. Not just Wyatt Everett, but Dustin Everett and Lucas Everett too. The whole gang’s here.’

"Why are you following me?" Sienna’s voice was cold, without a single ripple of emotion.

Since they’d been discovered, Lucas Everett decided to just get out of the car. He walked quickly over to Sienna. "Sienna, we... we just wanted to see you. You refuse to see us..."

Dustin Everett quickly followed him out of the car.

’Damn it! Lucas beat me to it and got to talk to her first!’

Wyatt Everett wanted to get out of the car too, but Sienna was standing right outside the driver’s side window. He couldn’t open the door—what if he pushed it open and it hit Sienna?

Unable to get out, Wyatt Everett grew so anxious that his palms began to sweat. In the end, he threw his dignity to the wind and scrambled over to the passenger seat to get out on that side.

"Sienna, don’t stand so close to the road. It’s not safe," Wyatt Everett said, rushing over to stand on the side closer to the street, shielding her from the passing traffic.

Not wanting to be shielded by Wyatt Everett, Sienna simply walked over to the shade of a nearby tree.

The three Everett brothers immediately followed her.

"Out with it. What do you really want, following me around?" Sienna asked again, her voice just as detached as before.

Lucas Everett stared at Sienna, his gaze hungry, as if he hadn’t seen his sister in ages. A lump formed in his throat. "Sienna, we want to make up for our past mistakes. Can you... give us a chance?"

Sienna’s brow furrowed.

Wyatt Everett quickly interjected, "Sienna, I don’t want to trick you or lie to you. We were secretly following you because... we wanted to see where you live. We want to move nearby so we can take care of you every day, make things up to you, and atone for what we did!"

Dustin Everett nodded vigorously, confirming that everything Wyatt had said was true.

Sienna scoffed, her beautiful features twisting with irony. "Ignoring my wishes, secretly following me, using these kinds of tactics to find out where I live... If this is your idea of making amends, you can keep it."

Dustin Everett’s face went pale, a look of panic and embarrassment flashing in his eyes.

’She’s right. To satisfy our own need for repentance, we completely ignored her wishes and used such underhanded methods to find out where she lives...’

"Sienna, please don’t be angry. We were in the wrong here. We should have considered your feelings!" Wyatt Everett said, finally realizing their mistake and apologizing profusely.

Lucas Everett pressed his lips together. "It was my idea. I’m the one who told Wyatt to do it. Sienna, if you’re going to be angry, just be angry with me."

Sienna looked at the three of them, her face a blank mask. Not wanting to say another word, she turned to leave.

Just then, Lucas Everett noticed a child learning to skateboard behind Sienna. The board under the kid’s feet went out of control, shooting rapidly in their direction.

Sienna’s back was turned, so she didn’t see it.

Lucas Everett, facing Sienna, had a clear view of everything happening behind her.

"AHHH—GET OUT OF THE WAY! MOVE!"

The panicked child yelled as they lost control of the skateboard.

Seeing the child about to crash into Sienna, Lucas Everett frowned, decisively reaching out and pulling her out of the way.

The child shot forward like a little cannonball. Instead of hitting Sienna, who had been pulled aside, they slammed into Lucas Everett with a loud THUD.

The force of the impact was so great it sent Lucas Everett sprawling to the ground.

The skateboarding child fell down too, scrambling up in tears, terrified. "I’m sorry, I’m sorry..."

Sienna frowned, glancing at her forearm where Lucas Everett had just grabbed her to pull her away...

Wyatt Everett and Dustin Everett snapped out of their surprise and rushed to help Lucas Everett to his feet.

At the same time, they were both fuming internally. ’An opportunity to look good like that... how could we have missed it!’

’So infuriating!’

Lucas Everett looked at the still-crying child. Enduring the pain, he said with a stern face, "It’s fine. Just be more careful next time," then let the kid go.

"Sienna," Lucas Everett said, his stern expression softening as he faced her. "Don’t think anything of what just happened. I just didn’t want to see you get hurt. Besides, you’re the one who made it possible for me to get back on my beloved racetrack. You went to so much trouble to find a doctor who could fix my leg. It’s only right that I do something for you!"

Sienna gave him an impassive glance, then turned and walked away.

Only after Sienna was a good distance away did Lucas Everett finally drop the act. He grimaced in pain, his legs nearly giving out from under him.

"What’s wrong? What is it!" Dustin Everett exclaimed, steadying him. "Lucas, are you okay?"

Lucas Everett’s face was pale as he spoke through the pain, "When I fell, I hit my head on that stone bollard. My head is killing me..."

’It felt like his head was about to split open.’

Wyatt Everett took one look at the back of his head, and his expression changed. "He’s bleeding! He split his head open!"

Dustin Everett cried, "We need to get to a hospital! Lucas, next time, leave an opportunity like this to me. I’m tougher than you are and can take a fall better!!"

"In your dreams!" Lucas retorted, his head fuzzy with pain. "I got this scar for Sienna. I’m keeping it forever!"

"...Alright, that’s enough. Let’s get to the hospital!" Wyatt Everett said, helping Lucas toward the car.

But just then, he saw someone approaching from the side. His heart leaped in shock, and he froze on the spot.
