Chapter 224: Chapter 224: Give Your Husband a Name

Wyatt Everett was driving, and Lucas Everett sat in the back seat.

Dustin Everett sat in the front passenger seat, his eyes glued to the car ahead carrying Sienna Everett and Keith Sterling. He warned anxiously, "Wyatt, don’t follow too closely. Sienna will spot us."

"You think I need you to tell me that? Of course I know." Wyatt Everett kept the car at a steady speed—not too fast, not too slow—so they wouldn’t lose them or get caught for tailing too closely.

"Wyatt, why do you think Keith Sterling is so fixated on Sienna? Sure, he’s the boss of Sovereign Entertainment, but coming to pick her up in person? That seems a bit much, doesn’t it? Why isn’t he picking up the other artists from his company?" Dustin Everett asked, his face full of suspicion.

Wyatt Everett turned the steering wheel, guiding the car onto another road, and explained, "Keith Sterling has always been protective of his company’s artists."

"It’s not that simple! He’s clearly being protective beyond normal limits!" Dustin Everett looked at Wyatt Everett as if he were an idiot. "Wyatt, you really... you’re just not that bright, are you!"

"..." Wyatt Everett gritted his teeth. "If you don’t want a beating, then shut up!"

Just then, Lucas Everett, sitting in the back, spoke up quietly, "Wyatt, the kid’s right."

"...You shut up too!" A vein throbbed on Wyatt Everett’s forehead. ’So now you’re all ganging up on me, huh!’

’The nerve of them, talking back to their older brother and calling me dumb!’

Lucas Everett, with his rugged features and customary black jacket, said, "Wyatt, think about it. Today’s variety show had both Sienna and Orion Hawthorne. Orion is also a Sovereign Entertainment artist, so why didn’t Keith Sterling pick him up? Why make a special trip just for Sienna?"

Hearing Lucas Everett’s point, Wyatt Everett furrowed his brows. "Tsk, you’ve got a point..."

In the passenger seat, Dustin Everett suddenly made a connection. His voice rose in alarm, "That Keith Sterling... he... he couldn’t have his eyes on Sienna, could he!"

The moment the words left his lips, the car fell silent.

A dead silence.

After what felt like an eternity, Wyatt Everett snarled through gritted teeth, "No way! Absolutely not! That playboy Keith Sterling... even if he likes Sienna, he wouldn’t be serious about her. In the end, Sienna’s the one who’ll get hurt!"

Hostility flashed in Lucas Everett’s eyes, his expression turning fierce. "Right. Absolutely not."

’My sister will not be corrupted by such a reckless playboy!’

Dustin Everett looked horrified, as if a pig were making off with their family treasure. He declared tragically, "We have to protect Sienna! We can’t let her fall into Keith Sterling’s clutches!"

Wyatt Everett nodded firmly.

Lucas Everett nodded as well.

The three of them instantly reached an agreement.

「Meanwhile, in the car carrying Sienna Everett ahead.」

Sienna Everett sat in the back seat. She glanced at the handsome, elegant man beside her and blinked her beautiful eyes. "Why did you suddenly come to pick me up?"

At her words, Julian Forrester took her hand, playfully fiddling with her slender, pale fingers. His tone was casual. "I came to take you to my grandfather’s place for dinner."

Sienna Everett quickly shot him a look.

’There are other people in the car! He shouldn’t be so handsy!’

The man’s lips curved. "It’s fine."

Sienna Everett: "..."

Samuel Sutton knew that a good assistant’s most important duty was to be perfectly attuned to Mr. Forrester’s needs, and that meant one thing above all: never looking where he shouldn’t!

So, sitting in the driver’s seat, he kept his eyes fixed on the road ahead.

Keith Sterling, in the passenger seat, wasn’t nearly as self-aware. He twisted around to look at the back, spotted his brother’s hand intertwined with Sierra’s, and broke into a suggestive grin.

"Sister-in-law," he teased, "going to the family estate for dinner is just part of it. The main reason is, my brother missed you! That’s why he came to pick you up before your show had even finished recording."

"I mean, he originally wanted to get out of the car and find you inside the studio building, but he can’t just show up here. The second he steps out of the car, a whole delegation of the TV station’s management would have to come out to greet him. It’s such a hassle."

"So he had no choice but to wait in the car. And then, after all that waiting, he finally sees you come out, only to watch you chatting and laughing with that Rowan Rhodes for so long... By the way, Sierra, what were you and Rowan Rhodes even talking about!"

Sienna Everett coughed lightly. "It was nothing. He’s a fan of mine. He just asked for my autograph."

Julian Forrester turned his head to look at her. "A fan?"

"Yes!" Sienna Everett gave a firm nod, not understanding why he’d be jealous about this. She argued reasonably, "There’s nothing wrong with me giving an autograph to one of my fans, is there?"

"I’m your fan, too," he stressed, as if he were trying to claim a title.

Sienna Everett: "..."

Sienna Everett immediately glanced at Keith Sterling in the front seat and, just as she expected, saw the corners of his mouth twitching wildly upwards. He was baring his pearly whites, grinning like a fool.

Samuel Sutton, on the other hand, had incredible composure. Truly worthy of his title as a top-tier, highly-paid assistant, his expression didn’t change in the slightest, as if he hadn’t heard a thing.

In reality, Samuel Sutton’s hands tightened on the steering wheel as he fought to keep the corners of his mouth from turning up.

’In all the years he’d been with Mr. Forrester, he had never once heard him claim to be a fan of anyone. Only Miss Everett could make Mr. Forrester act like this...’

Suddenly, Samuel Sutton’s expression turned serious. His eyes fixed on the rearview mirror. "Mr. Forrester, Miss Everett, there’s a car that’s been following us."

"The hell? What car?" Keith Sterling stared into the rearview mirror. "What’s going on?"

A cold, dark glint flashed through Julian Forrester’s eyes.

Samuel Sutton quickly asked for instructions, "Mr. Forrester, should I call Leon Stone, the head of security, and have him bring his men over right away?"

Today was a private outing, so they hadn’t brought any bodyguards. In case the car following them belonged to someone with malicious intent, it was safer to call for backup immediately.

Sienna Everett, sitting in the back, glanced behind them.

And saw a familiar car amidst the traffic.

’Isn’t... isn’t that Wyatt Everett’s car?’

Back when she was still at the Everett residence, she had often seen Wyatt Everett drive this car.

Sienna Everett frowned slightly. Just to be sure she wasn’t mistaken, she specifically checked the license plate. Heh, it really was Wyatt Everett’s car.

"There’s no need to call the bodyguards." Sienna Everett stopped Samuel Sutton. Meeting Julian Forrester’s questioning gaze, she sighed helplessly. "...The car following us belongs to Wyatt Everett."

Keith Sterling immediately swore, "What is wrong with him! Who tails someone in broad daylight!"

"Samuel Sutton, find a place to pull over," Sienna Everett said to him in the front.

Samuel Sutton glanced at the center rearview mirror. Seeing Julian Forrester give a slight nod, he only then dared to agree. "Yes, Miss Everett. There’s a place to park just up ahead."

A few moments later, the car stopped.

Sienna Everett pushed open her door to get out, but a hand suddenly grabbed her wrist.

Sienna Everett turned back in confusion.

Julian Forrester’s dark, deep eyes were fixed on her. "I’ll go with you."
