Chapter 192: Chapter 192: Normal Marital Relationship, Jealousy Demon

Sienna Everett pressed her temples, a headache blooming. ’It’s over, it’s over. There’s no way to explain this now.’

Even if she claimed Julian Forrester had just come over to chat or discuss work, it was doubtful anyone would be convinced.

In stark contrast to Sienna Everett’s headache, Julian Forrester’s expression was unruffled. He was as composed as ever, and he even seemed to hope that everyone would find out about his relationship with Sienna.

An awkward silence descended.

He calmly wrapped an arm around Sienna Everett and led her out of the room, leisurely pulling the door shut behind them. His every move was elegant, exuding an air of nobility.

Then, he turned to face Isabelle Sutton and Orion Hawthorne, who were still standing dumbfounded in the hallway.

Because they were Sienna Everett’s friends, his tone, though cool, wasn’t entirely distant. "Is there something else?"

Isabelle Sutton snapped out of her shock. She shot a cautious glance at Julian Forrester, swallowed nervously, and then turned to Sienna Everett, her expression a mixture of surprise and concern. "Sienna, you and Mr. Forrester..."

One look at her expression told Sienna Everett exactly what she was thinking.

Without a doubt, she was thinking about the casting couch.

"Don’t jump to conclusions! It’s not the casting couch, it’s not what you think! It’s..."

Sienna Everett had been about to reveal her relationship with Julian Forrester right then and there.

After all, given the circumstances, there was no good reason to explain why Julian Forrester was emerging from her room first thing in the morning. She couldn’t let Isabelle Sutton genuinely believe she was involved in something like the casting couch.

But halfway through her sentence, Sienna Everett suddenly remembered that Julian Forrester had been in love with someone for over a decade—someone he had yet to win over.

’Wouldn’t it be bad to announce her marriage to Julian Forrester, then?’

’And there was the matter of the divorce...’

’Since he already had someone he loved, a divorce was definitely necessary.’

Just as Sienna Everett’s thoughts began to drift, the man’s deep, chilling voice cut through the quiet atmosphere. "The casting couch?"

The voice was filled with such coldness that Isabelle Sutton immediately flinched, shrinking back in fear.

’Mr. Forrester’s attitude toward Sienna is so different from how he treats everyone else... What a double standard...’

Sienna Everett quickly gave Julian Forrester’s clothes a discreet tug.

Julian Forrester glanced down at her. Then, as if they were the only two people in the world, he took her hand. Looking at Isabelle Sutton and Orion Hawthorne, he emphasized each word clearly, "It’s a normal marital relationship."

Sienna Everett: "???"

The moment the words left his lips.

Isabelle Sutton’s eyes flew open wide as saucers, and she stood there frozen, looking as if her soul had left her body.

’Did I hear that right?’

Husband and wife?!!

Orion Hawthorne was equally incredulous. He glanced at Sienna Everett, then at Julian Forrester, before his gaze finally settled back on Sienna, his expression darkening slightly. "Sienna Everett, you..."

"AH—" Isabelle Sutton snapped back to reality, just about to let out an excited shriek.

Sienna Everett immediately pulled her hand away from Julian Forrester, darted over, and clamped a hand over Isabelle Sutton’s mouth. "Calm down."

Isabelle Sutton stared back with wide, aggrieved eyes. ’How am I supposed to calm down?’

’It wasn’t the casting couch.’

’They weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend.’

’It was a marital relationship!’

’The already-married kind!’

’My best friend is secretly married to a top-tier tycoon! Who could possibly stay calm in a situation like this?!’

As Sienna Everett tried to placate Isabelle Sutton, she spared a glance for Orion Hawthorne. Thankfully, he seemed relatively composed, staring down at the floor, lost in thought.

"I’m sorry. I’ve been hiding this from you all," Sienna Everett said, her face full of apology.

Isabelle Sutton shook her head rapidly, prying Sienna Everett’s hand from her mouth. "Don’t be sorry, Sienna! I totally get it. It’s completely normal that you kept this from us, really!"

After saying her piece, she took Sienna Everett’s hand and placed it back over her own mouth, blinking her large, innocent eyes at her.

Her dazed, adorable expression was almost too much to handle, cute enough to melt anyone’s heart.

Sienna Everett couldn’t help but laugh. Her gaze toward Isabelle Sutton softened until it seemed she could melt into a puddle, and she couldn’t resist reaching out to give her a hug.

Julian Forrester, witnessing this scene: ?

He glanced down at his own hand, which Sienna Everett had shaken off and left abandoned, then back at Sienna affectionately hugging Isabelle Sutton...

’She shook him off to go hug another woman?!’

Isabelle Sutton was enjoying the affectionate moment with Sienna Everett when she suddenly felt a cold, dark gaze upon her and hastily pulled away from the hug.

Sienna, for her part, hadn’t had nearly enough of the hug.

By the time everyone went down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast, Isabelle Sutton’s excitement still hadn’t subsided.

Javier Prescott and Ian Prescott were also in the restaurant. Keith Sterling and Evan Shelby had already finished eating but were bored and remained seated, bickering playfully.

So, they all decided to sit down and have breakfast together.

Isabelle Sutton’s curiosity had reached its peak. She clearly had a ton of questions for Sienna Everett, but with Julian Forrester present, she didn’t dare ask anything too personal.

Sienna Everett was at a loss. She glanced in Orion Hawthorne’s direction; he was the calm one, sitting there quietly eating his food without a word.

Finally, Isabelle Sutton couldn’t hold it in any longer. She cleverly came up with an excuse and whispered, "Sienna, aren’t we flying back home this afternoon? I want to pop out and buy some souvenirs nearby. Will you come with me?"

Sienna Everett could tell that Isabelle Sutton wouldn’t be able to relax until some of her questions were answered, so she nodded. "Okay."

’I was going to ask Julian Forrester about the person he’s in love with,’ she thought. ’I’ll just have to ask him when we get back from shopping.’

Besides, shopping wouldn’t take too long.

After breakfast, Sienna Everett pulled Julian Forrester aside to tell him she was going to buy some souvenirs with Isabelle Sutton nearby.

But Julian Forrester wasn’t reassured. "I’ll go with you."

Simon Sinclair was still in Meridia. He didn’t feel comfortable letting Sienna Everett out of his sight, or even letting her leave the hotel.

Bodyguards were stationed around the hotel, so Simon Sinclair certainly wouldn’t be able to spirit Sienna Everett away unnoticed again. But if she left the hotel grounds, there were no guarantees.

Therefore, he had to go with her and keep her under his watch. Only then could he be at ease.

Sienna Everett was taken aback for a moment before she realized what he was worried about. She waved a dismissive hand. "It’s fine. Knowing Simon Sinclair, I can guarantee with one hundred percent certainty that he won’t come looking for me right now."

Julian Forrester’s eyes narrowed slightly. "You know him that well?"

Sienna Everett: "..."

He asked again, his tone laced with danger, "Sienna Everett, do you know *me* that well?"

Sienna Everett: "..."

’Wait, how did we get onto this topic all of a sudden?’

Sienna Everett didn’t want to argue, nor did she want to stubbornly insist on going out and making others worry about her. "Alright, if you’re worried, then I won’t go out."

"Oh, right!" An idea struck Sienna Everett, and her eyes lit up. "I’ll just go find Isabelle Sutton in her room! We can just talk there!"

After all, Isabelle Sutton just wanted to ask her a few questions; it didn’t matter where they talked.

"Okay, okay, you can go back to your room now. I’m going to find Isabelle Sutton!"

With that, Sienna Everett turned and ran off to find Isabelle Sutton.

The abandoned Julian Forrester: "..."
