Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Julian Forrester, Who Do You Like?

Sienna went to Isabelle Sutton’s room.

She explained to Isabelle that Julian Forrester was worried about her leaving the hotel, so she wouldn’t be going out to buy souvenirs. They could just talk in the room.

When Isabelle Sutton heard this, her eyes practically sparkled. "Wow, Mr. Forrester is so worried about you! He’s so thoughtful!"

Sienna was speechless.

Isabelle chided herself. "Sigh, I didn’t even think of that!"

With that, she quickly pulled Sienna Everett to sit on the edge of the bed, her cheeks slightly flushed with excitement. "Seriously, I was so thrilled during breakfast I could have died. I never thought I’d get the chance to have breakfast at the same table as Mr. Forrester. It’s all thanks to you, Sienna!"

Sienna was so amused by her friend’s words that she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. "It was just one meal."

"It’s not the same! Eating with a normal person is just a meal, but that was Julian Forrester!"

He’s a powerful and influential tycoon from a top-tier family. Most people never even get a chance to see him!

Unable to hide her excitement, Isabelle asked, her face alight with gossipy curiosity, "Sienna, when did you and Mr. Forrester get married?"

"Wow, that long!"

"..." ’Actually, the date for our divorce agreement is coming up soon,’ Sienna thought.

"So when did you two meet?" Isabelle Sutton’s imagination was already running wild, uncontrollably concocting a prime-time TV drama plot in her head.

Sienna Everett only gave a rough summary. "We knew each other as kids, but we were separated for a while. We met again a year ago."

The romantic fantasies in Isabelle Sutton’s eyes instantly intensified. "Childhood sweethearts! It must be fate!"

The corners of Sienna Everett’s eyes lifted slightly. ’The phrase "childhood sweethearts" certainly sounds much better than Evan Shelby’s "child husband".’

Isabelle Sutton suddenly put it all together. "I get it now! No wonder Mr. Forrester bid on your bracelet at that charity gala and even said he was your loyal fan. The truth is, he’s actually your husband!"

Sienna Everett’s eyelid twitched. "...I guess you could say that."

"Honestly, Sienna, from the bottom of my heart, I feel like you and Mr. Forrester are a perfect match. Your looks, your builds, everything about you two just fits perfectly!"

Sienna grew a little flustered, rubbing her eyelid as she started to explain, "Actually, he likes some—"

Sienna stopped mid-sentence. ’Forget it,’ she thought. ’I shouldn’t be discussing Julian Forrester’s private matters behind his back.’

’I’ll just ask him about it when I get back and find out what’s really going on.’

Isabelle Sutton had almost instantly become a full-blown shipper, pestering Sienna Everett with questions. An hour and a half flew by without them realizing it.

Who wouldn’t be thrilled to ship a couple up close and personal?

After chatting for another half hour, Isabelle Sutton reluctantly walked Sienna back to her room. "I shouldn’t keep you for too long. Mr. Forrester is probably getting anxious."

Sienna was speechless.

After watching Sienna leave, Isabelle Sutton closed her door. She started humming a tune as she packed her luggage, preparing to return home that afternoon.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

She picked it up and saw it was a call from Sienna’s fourth brother, Lucas Everett.

They had exchanged contact information back when she thought Lucas Everett was Liam Lynn.

Isabelle Sutton frowned and was about to hang up, but she accidentally hit the wrong button and answered the call instead.

"Isabelle, you finally answered my call!" Lucas Everett’s voice was filled with delight. ℯℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

"I hit the wrong button. I’m hanging up," Isabelle Sutton said coolly.

Lucas Everett’s brow furrowed immediately. His tone was dejected yet resentful. "Isabelle, why do you have to let Sienna Everett affect our relationship?"

Holding the phone in one hand, Isabelle Sutton replied with a deadpan expression, "Sienna is your biological sister, yet you can bully her like that. I find it hard to believe you’d treat me, an outsider, any better."

Lucas Everett was taken aback, then he started arguing illogically. "Sienna Everett is my sister, that’s true, but look at how she’s treated the Everett Family! The family is in ruins, and it’s all her fault! My mother is constantly sick and in the hospital, my eldest brother is missing, my third and fifth brothers never come home, Shannon was forced out of the entertainment industry, and my father is the only one left struggling to prop up the failing Everett Corporation. This is all because of Sienna Everett!"

"Stop making excuses! You people were the ones who hurt Sienna first. She was just protecting herself!"

Isabelle Sutton’s hands were trembling with anger. "Just think about Shannon Everett—how many times has she tried to harm Sienna? And Mason Everett and Sheila Whitaker, they fabricated evidence to frame Sienna and get her thrown in jail! All of this is public knowledge, spread all over the internet. Is any of it fake? Before she left the Everett Family, did Sienna ever do a single thing to wrong you? Wasn’t she good enough to all of you?"

’Before she left the Everett Family...’

Lucas Everett recalled that before leaving the Everett Family, Sienna Everett had indeed been like a spineless lapdog, desperately fawning over them in an attempt to gain a sliver of familial affection.

Sienna Everett knew he loved racing, so she stayed up all night to build a model race car for him. He didn’t even glance at it before throwing it on the floor and smashing it to pieces.

Later, when he heard Sienna Everett was allergic to mangoes, he deliberately made her eat one just to see the ugly allergic reaction.

Sienna Everett didn’t want to eat it at first, but he put on a stern face and said that if she didn’t, he would ignore her from then on.

As soon as Sienna Everett heard that, she immediately picked up the mango and stuffed it in her mouth. He even threatened her, saying a few bites weren’t enough—she had to eat all five mangoes.

She broke out in red, itchy, swollen rashes all over her body and nearly went into anaphylactic shock, but when he saw her ugly state, he just laughed out loud.

While enduring the horrible allergic reaction, Sienna Everett carefully asked him if she could stay up again to make him another model race car, and would he accept it this time? Of course, he refused. He shoved her aside and walked away.

Recalling these past events, Lucas Everett frowned. "Sienna Everett is my biological sister. She’s supposed to be good to me. What sister isn’t good to her older brother?"

Isabelle Sutton found this absurd. "And you’re her biological brother! Why aren’t you good to her?!"

"I..." Lucas Everett was speechless.

Isabelle Sutton closed her eyes. "All I did was say a few words of comfort when you injured your right leg and thought you might never be able to race again, and you treat me so well. Sienna did so much for your family, so why aren’t you good to her?"

"That’s different!" Lucas Everett’s eyes were red. "I had just found out I could never race again. It was my lowest, most desperate, and most helpless moment. You comforted me and gave me an apple. That meant the world to me!"

"When your leg was injured, I refuse to believe Sienna didn’t comfort you. Why didn’t you take her words to heart?" Isabelle Sutton retorted sharply.

Lucas Everett’s frown deepened. Sienna Everett had indeed comforted him and even said she would help him find a doctor.

She said she would find the best doctor in the world to perform his surgery.

’But what kind of doctor could she possibly find?’

’She was just bragging to get the Everett Family’s attention.’

Of course, he hadn’t believed Sienna Everett could find a doctor. He had screamed at her, chasing her out of the hospital room, telling her that the sight of her face made him sick and to get out of his sight.

Later, that internationally renowned top surgeon, who had initially refused to operate on his leg, suddenly changed his mind and agreed to do the surgery.

’It must have been out of respect for the Everett Family’s reputation.’

’In that case, the one he should be most grateful to was the Everett Family. Why should he be grateful to Sienna Everett?’

"Isabelle, Sienna Everett didn’t help me with anything. She’s just a..."

Before Lucas Everett could finish, Isabelle Sutton, having heard enough, abruptly hung up.

Staring at the disconnected call, Lucas Everett was so furious he wanted to smash his phone.

’It’s all that jinx Sienna Everett’s fault that Isabelle is so cold to me. I’ll never forgive her as long as I live!’

...

When Sienna Everett returned to her room, she saw Julian Forrester sitting in a wicker chair on the balcony, resting with his eyes closed.

Hearing her approach, the man’s long lashes trembled slightly before he opened his eyes. A brilliant light flashed in their clear depths, revealing a momentary, breathtaking elegance.

"Were you sleeping?" Sienna Everett asked, walking around to face him.

"No," the man replied flatly. "You really don’t know me at all if you can’t even tell if I’m sleeping."

"...Don’t be ridiculous."

Julian Forrester lifted his gaze and watched her silently.

Sienna Everett stood before him, meeting his gaze. Her features were as exquisite as a painting. "I’ve been meaning to ask you something, but I haven’t had the chance. This is the perfect time."
