Chapter 191: Chapter 191: Soft and Seductive to Kiss

For a moment, Sienna Everett’s feet seemed to be nailed to the floor. She stood there, completely still.

She did a quick mental calculation. If Julian Forrester had been in love with someone for over ten years, that meant he must have fallen for them back when he was a student.

That was so long ago.

Sienna Everett wasn’t sure what to feel. She had been ravenous just a moment ago, but now she’d completely lost her appetite.

Part of her wanted to find out who Julian Forrester was in love with.

But another part of her thought, ’No way. A man like Julian Forrester... he’s been in love with a girl for over a decade, and she didn’t choose him? Is she blind or something?’

But Keith Sterling’s melancholy tone hadn’t sounded like he was joking.

Apparently, Julian Forrester really did have an unrequited love he’d been harboring for over a decade.

Sienna Everett had been hoping to hear more from Keith Sterling, but after that one sentence, he’d changed the subject, saying nothing more about Julian Forrester’s secret crush.

Sienna Everett was dying of curiosity. ’How could he just leave her hanging like that? It’s absolute torture!’

Just then, Evan Shelby finished his meal and stood up. As he turned, he spotted Sienna Everett in the restaurant and quickly waved her over. "Here to eat? Come on, join us!"

Evan Shelby’s wave caught Keith Sterling’s attention, and he spotted Sienna Everett as well. He glanced behind her. "Where’s my brother? Didn’t he come with you?"

"He’s on a work call," Sienna Everett answered.

"Oh, that’s fine. My brother will probably be here in a minute. Sierra, let me tell you, the crystal shrimp dumplings today are amazing! I think they might have a new chef. You have to try them! They’re so much better than yesterday!"

Sienna Everett was in no mood to eat. Curiosity was scratching at her like a kitten’s paws. She walked over, sat down at the table, and after a second of hesitation, she couldn’t help but ask, "Keith Sterling, what you said earlier..."

Keith Sterling, ever the enthusiast, was busy pouring her tea. When she trailed off, he quickly prompted, "What about earlier? What was it?"

Evan Shelby looked over at her as well.

Stared at by their two pairs of curious, gossipy eyes, Sienna Everett suddenly felt that it would be better to ask Julian Forrester himself about this.

’That’s right, I should just ask him directly.’

"It’s nothing." Sienna Everett stood up, acting casual. "You guys go ahead and eat. I’m going to go back and find your brother."

With that, she turned and left the hotel restaurant.

Keith Sterling scratched his head, completely baffled. ’Why did she leave without eating a thing?’

’What was she about to ask me?’

When Sienna Everett returned to the room, she saw Julian Forrester was still on the phone, speaking in business jargon.

Seeing her return, Julian Forrester raised an eyebrow in surprise, his gaze asking, ’Weren’t you hungry? Why are you back without eating breakfast?’

Sienna Everett took out her phone, typed a line in her notes app, and held the screen up for him to see—

[I have something to ask you.]

After reading the line, Julian Forrester glanced up at Sienna Everett, gave a slight nod, and began to wrap up the call more quickly.

Sienna Everett walked over to the bed and sat down, her eyes taking in the man standing by the window on his call.

He wore a pristine white shirt with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, revealing strong forearms. The blue of his veins was visible against his fair skin, exuding an unexpectedly seductive air—both bewitching and sensual, enough to make one’s heart flutter.

The morning sun streamed through the window, bathing him in light and making his posture seem all the more statuesque. His every movement radiated a noble elegance and an effortless, calm composure.

Sienna Everett’s eyes scanned him from head to toe, her gaze involuntarily settling on his face—so divinely handsome it could captivate the world.

From the exquisite line of his brow to the high bridge of his nose, her eyes finally came to rest on his thin lips, which parted and closed as he spoke.

She had to admit, his lips were beautifully shaped—thin but not severe, tinged with the faint pink of cherry blossoms.

’They look very kissable.’

Her mind running away with her, Sienna Everett suddenly recalled the feeling of his kiss.

’His lips looked so cool and indifferent, but they were so soft to kiss, so sensual... ’

Sienna Everett snapped back to reality and realized what she was thinking. Her cheeks flushed, and her whole face grew hot and red, like a rose under the blazing sun.

She raised a hand and slapped her own face.

’What on earth are you thinking!’

Julian Forrester was still on the phone, but he caught Sienna Everett slapping herself out of the corner of his eye. He froze for a second, his Adam’s apple bobbed, and he couldn’t help but let out a stifled chuckle.

The sight of him chuckling with downcast eyes was impossibly alluring.

Sienna Everett’s cheeks burned even hotter, and she shot him a glare, a mixture of embarrassment and indignation.

Though she meant it as a glare, it was soft and held no real menace.

The subordinate on the other end of the line heard Mr. Forrester suddenly laugh and immediately fell silent. ’What happened? Was something in the report funny? Did I say something wrong?’

He instantly grew anxious.

Julian Forrester gave a few more instructions, quickly ended the call, and walked over to her.

Looking at Sienna Everett sitting on the edge of the bed, the man bent down, the curve of his spine creating a powerful and alluring line. His eyes, full of mirth, were fixed on her.

He raised a hand and pressed the cool, pale back of it to her forehead, his tone laced with amusement.

"Here, let me see. Has our Sienna gone silly? Why are you hitting yourself?"

Sienna Everett: "..."

She leaned her head back, dodging his hand. "You’re the silly one!"

An imperceptible quirk of his brow, his voice lazy and playful. "Then what were you thinking about that made you hit yourself?"

"...I hit myself because I felt like it. I’ll hit myself when I’m happy, I’ll hit myself when I’m sad. It’s none of your business!" Sienna Everett sputtered stubbornly.

"Is that so," the man drawled, slowly straightening up. He looked down at her from beneath his lashes. "From now on, you should hit someone else instead."

"Someone else? You mean hit you?" Sienna Everett asked suspiciously.

His dark, clear eyes sparkled with amusement, and his low, magnetic voice was especially captivating. "I can’t just stand by and watch you hit yourself."

"After all, I’m your husband. I’ll just have to take the hits for you."

Sienna Everett: "..."

’Even if he was willing, I wouldn’t hit him.’

’It’s not like I’m a domestic abuser!’

’And "husband"...’

Remembering what was on her mind, Sienna Everett scratched her head, stood up, and cleared her throat. "Julian Forrester, I have something I want to ask you."

He glanced at the time, then took her hand and started leading her out. "Weren’t you starving? We can talk while we eat."

Sienna Everett didn’t actually feel hungry anymore, but she nodded anyway. "Okay, that works."

"It’s just... when I went to the restaurant earlier, I heard Keith Sterling say..."

Sienna Everett had just started to speak when Julian Forrester opened the door. Before they could even step out, they ran right into Orion Hawthorne and Isabelle Sutton in the hallway.

Orion Hawthorne stopped in his tracks. He first glanced at the room number, confirming that it was, in fact, Sienna Everett’s. Then, a look of utter disbelief crept into his eyes as he stared, dumbfounded, at Julian Forrester emerging from Sienna Everett’s room first thing in the morning.

’Under what circumstances would a man be coming out of a woman’s room this early in the morning?’

’What in the world is the relationship between these two?’

Isabelle Sutton was even more stunned, frozen to the spot.

"Th-this..."

Yesterday, Julian Forrester had made a special trip all the way from their home country and had even personally rescued Sienna from Simon Sinclair’s clutches. Isabelle Sutton had already found that strange. Even the most loyal fan wouldn’t go to such lengths for their idol, right?

And now, she was seeing Julian Forrester walk out of Sienna Everett’s room first thing in the morning...

’Could they have spent the night together?’

A jolt went through Isabelle Sutton.

’Don’t tell me I guessed right?’

’All the things Julian Forrester has done for Sienna... don’t tell me he’s actually trying to force her onto the casting couch?!’

"Sienna, you and Mr. Forrester... you two..."
