Chapter 1167: Kal-E Made A Move.

Feng Yun watched it all unfold, and after the challenge was done, she waved at Shi Lang and the Terran sighed. He knew that something must have come up for her to call him out like this. He turned to look at Yang Shen and said, “I will leave you to handle your own things now, I have to see to some work. Also, Mei does not have a bad heart, she just didn’t wish to make you feel sad because she could not reciprocate your emotions. I hope you can understand that.”

Yang Shen wanted to say something but he held back and bowed to Shi Lang, the latter sighed and bowed to thank him for the guidance. After that, Shi Lang turned around and left, he walked up to Hao Mei and waved his hand to lift her chin up. He sighed and smiled faintly before he said, “Love, why are you looking down at the ground?”

Hao Mei had tears sitting at the corner of her lids and they were about to fall down, when Shi Lang said, “So what happened if you were wrong? Are you not human? How can you be perfect? How can you just be right about everything all the time?”

The words struck the people, and they all looked at Shi Lang, Hao Mei was also shocked as the Terran continued, “Many times we come across the situations were our emotions gets the best of ourselves, and those moments are the testament that we are still humans. That our hearts still have a power to command us.”

Amelia nodded with a smile as she thought, ’How this guy can always turn things around for better is a magic trick.’

After some coaxing and consoling, Shi Lang managed to guid the young lady out of her guilt trip. She apologized to Yang Shen, and this time her apology came from her own, and not because Shi Lang told her. Yang Shen regained his pride and then he left the Asura Hall after wishing Hao Mei well.

The Terran on the other hand came to meet Feng Yun and asked, “Your Holiness little birdie, what is it now?”

Feng Yun brushed her hair casually as she said, “You are going out again.”

Shi Lang sighed and replied, “Two days, please. I need to consolidate my gains or I will die in the next trial.”

Feng Yun looked at him and then nodded calmly before Shi Lang said, “Don’t think that you are my boss or something. I am my own boss.”

Feng Yun simply nodded and replied, “Such a drama queen.”

After two days, Shi Lang set out once again, this time he was quicker than the last time. In his trials also, he had evolved into a stronger person. The young man didn’t mind anything that came his way, be it the claws of the White Tiger or the roar of the Azure Dragon, he just faced it all. Within the next month, he refined twenty more vessels. The people who learned this were shocked, they could not help but think how much skill did it take for one to refine vessels that fit the races completely and even match in physical attribute.

They thought it was easy, but when they saw Shi Lang taking the trials that were really changing the landscape slowly, it was crazy. All the people who were chirping from the sideline fell silent at the sight. Shi Lang had his body not only refined but also it was broken and rebuilt. The Terran had no idea, but the body was gaining power and almost able to go toe-to-toe with the Azure Dragon. Shi Lang’s instincts have increased to a shocking level as well, this refined the quality of his seeker realm as well.

His gaze was now strong enough to match Amelia. One day he had just come back from a month of work outside when Amelia came up and said, “Their has been some disturbance.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and Amelia replied, “Some of the Dao Borders are now inaccessible for the rest of the races. It is as if this particular race has been isolated from the world.”

The Terran was surprised and asked, “How can that be?”

He quickly turned to look at Feng Yun, who said, “Kal-E did it, he has been looking into the reason behind the heavenly tribulations around the barriers of the five elemental temples.”

Shi Lang frowned and asked, “How can I go there? If I used the supreme seal, then Kal-E would sense it and then he would follow us.”

Feng Yun nodded and said, “Indeed, that is indeed going to happen, but not if you break his barriers.”

Shi Lang rolled his eyes and said, “You want me to reveal my Supreme seal and other cards to him so that he can attack me before we have everything else in place?”

Feng Yun shrugged and said, “I don’t anything like that to happen, if I have it my way, I would have crumbled that guy into a carbonized statue ash, however, the Great Dao has some rules that we are supposed to follow.”

Shi Lang sighed and replied, “Yes, I understand. I will take sometime to handle this issue.”

Amelia said, “Why not call for a meeting with the races that are accessible, or just communicate with them and then come up with a method to collectively hold back Kal-e?”

The Terran turned to look at his wife and said, “Marry me.”

Amelia chuckled and smacked his shoulder gently before Feng Yun said, “Love birds, keep it under control.”

Shi Lang smiled at Feng Yun and said, “You can be the ring bearer.”

Amelia held her forehead and then Shi Lang sighed before he said, “Fine, how about we communicate this issue with other races? It would be resolved quickly because they are smart and wise, with all of them trying to come up with a method to handle the situation, it would be nice.”

The proposal was made, and using the means of communications left by various races, the information was passed on. It was not that only the human race found out about this, but the rest were also aware and working on a solution to handle this. After a few days they came back with one method, and that was to use a combination array and get through the barriers, because even though these barriers were erected by Kal-E they were still arrays.

The basic difference was how the language of the runes was different. However, they could crack this code by teaming up and pooling the resources. Thinking about it, Shi Lang looked at Feng Yun and asked, “How feasible is this?”

Feng Yun rolled her eyes and said, “Should I spoon feed you about this whole thing?”

The young man sighed and replied, “Fine, I will try and see how it goes. I wonder if the others would let me take a step up, because they already have a better knowledge than I do about the different runes.”

Amelia shook her head and said, “That might not be the case. It is very much possible that the Realm Lord used the core language for this situation.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and asked, “What is the core language?”

Amelia smiled faintly as she replied, “The language of the world consciousness, think of it as a source code that governs the world. For example, the time when the flowers bloom and how they wilt and when they wilt it is all a program written in the core language.”

Shi Lang nodded and then asked, “How do you know about this?”

Amelia pointed her finger on her head and said, “Because I have a wisp connected to my soul? That is how.”

The terran nodded and suddenly it clicked to him, “Do you know this language?”

Amelia smiled and replied, “A little bit because the knowledge is incomplete, and having no knowledge than having incomplete knowledge.”

Shi Lang sighed and then said, “Fine, I will go and try to comprehend the secrets of this Core Language.”

After that, Shi Lang stood up and left. Watching his figure vanish outside the courtyard, Feng Yun asked, “Why didn’t you give him the knowledge, I know that you have completely mastered that language.”

Amelia sighed, “I stole this knowledge after risking my life, and if he found out about this, he will not take it nicely. You know that he will not even hold back from having an argument with me about this.”

Feng Yun sighed and said, “To think that you are both his strength and his weakness, what would we do if Kal-E got a chance to catch you?”

Amelia sighed and replied, “What else, he would either die fighting, or he would destroy the world completely to prevent it from being ruled by Kal-e.”

Feng Yun sighed and remarked, “I would not be about Kal-E ruling the world. It would be that the world would not be worthy to exist without you.”
