Chapter 1165: Dramatic Incidents.

The next few weeks, they were a blur, the elders of the Asura Hall were all fighting in the Trial Tower, while the younger generation was going on with their own training, they could all see visible growth not only in skills but also the execution of their skills, Feng Yun conducted classes to guide the disciples and even the elders based on their queries. This was something that made the people feel gratified, because they never expected a being like Feng Yun would guide them.

One day, when Feng Yun was sitting ideally in the pavilion, with her eyes closed, Shi Ting approached her and sat down on the ground before she asked, “Your Holiness, may I ask you something?”

Feng Yun nodded before she looked at her, and Shi Ting asked, “Since Big brother can refine physical bodies and bring them back to life, can he do that with my siblings and parents too?”

Feng Yun sighed, she reached out to pat Shi Ting’s head before she said, “The key here is their soul energy. Amelia was able to survive because a wisp of her consciousness latched onto a tree, which was later treasured by Shi Lang, and he even managed to nurture it with his own memories of Amelia. Those days for him were akin to someone sitting on the threshold of death.”

Shi Ting was surprised and then Feng Yun began to narrate the scene where Shi Lang sat unmoved and even stopped breathing in order to channel only one thing, his love for Amelia. Shi Ting was so emotional that she had tears in her eyes. At this moment, Amelia appeared inside the pavilion and sighed, “Why are you telling her about all the sad part? You know I don’t like it when he is sad, right?”

Feng Yun shrugged and said, “Logically speaking, Shi Lang cannot refine the essence of five elements in the lower realm because the temple of five elements does not exist their. Shi Ting sighed and said, “Now only do I realize that the waters in the immortal realm are very deep. Thinking that just because Big Brother can do it once the circumstances would allow him to do it twice, what a dimwit I am.”

Amelia said, “Ting, don’t think like that, your Big Brother would blame himself.”

Shi Ting nodded and then Feng Yun said, “Speak of the devil and the devil appears.”

Amelia and the people turned to the side and they found Shi Lang walking over with over with a pale face, it was aas if his soul has been sucked out. Shi Ting was worried and so was Amelia but the moment Shi Lang saw amelia and hugged her, before he dramatically cried, “They are all slave drivers Amy, they want me to be their labor, their slave and refine the vessels at their beck and call. Oh the harm they have done to my soul.”

The two ladies rolled their eyes while Shi Ting was shocked, and she asked, “Are you really my big brother?”

Shi Lang nodded and asked, “Why do you ask this, Ting?”

Shi Ting shook her head and replied, “Nothing, just that I didn’t expect you to be so dramatic, like a bit cringy.”

Shi Lang was stunned, he looked at her with his eyes wide open, placed his right hand over his left chest and knelt on the ground before he looked at the sky and said, “Ma, your youngest has driven the knife in my heart. She doesn’t only look like you, but speaks like you as well.”

Shi Ting smiled and said, “Ma would give me a praise.”

The two ladies laughed while Shi Lang snorted and turned around to sit down in peace and meditate. Feng Yun saw through his pretense and asked, “Why are you home? Do you have free time?”

Shi Lang replied, “Oye, I am only human, I get tired. These past few days I am fighting various versions of the four holy beasts and creating vessels one after the other, do you think it is easy? I have to streamline my thoughts, I have accumulated a lot of things in my mind.”

The lady sighed and rubbed her temples before she said, “You are just looking for a way to slack off. Do you think I am unaware of how you can split your consciousness to operate at a higher efficiency?”

Shi Lang didn’t back off, he said, “I am getting tired and have lost the interest in this plan. If I don’t take a break now and just followed people to make a vessel in those places, and then the vessels would not be able to pass through the tribulation only. Are you sure you want that from me?”

The people sighed, he did have a valid point, and then Amelia asked, “So which one of the four holy beasts did you find to be most weird?”

Shi Lang chuckled and said, “I wonder if Azure Dragon Senior would come looking for me, so in the Cosmic Phantom Realm, I fought this version of his that was made up of plasma and had a body made from clouds os sparkling gases. It was as if a sparkling cloud on the battlefield, and another thing was that it was a she.”

Amelia had perfectly turned the tide of the conversation and then Shi Lang began to tell them about the various things that he had received in return of refining the vessels, and then also told them about his recent troubles during the sparring with the holy beasts. The whole situation was something that caused the ladies to laugh and after half an hour, a disciple came running and said after greeting the people, “Hall Master, someone has come to challenge you.”

Shi Lang raised his brow and asked, “Who is it?”

The disciple shook his head and replied, “I am not sure of his name but the person claimed that he knows Senior Sister Mei.”

Shi Lang frowned and then he stood up, his lazy slack-ish manner was gone, and he arranged his clothes before walking out of the pavilion. The ladies sighed, Amelia said, “Whoever you are, may you be brave.”

Feng Yun nodded, since someone has come seeking trouble with Shi Lang it is going to be a beat down and nothing short of that.

Shi Lang arrived at the gate of the Asura Hall and he found a fair looking young man, he was dressed in a very elegant fashion and his realm was also that of a Dao Level expert, however, his arrogance was a bit too high. Shi Lang looked at him and asked, “Who are you?”

His voice was calm and serene but it caused the man’s chest shiver. The young man held onto his composure and said, “I am Yang Shen, I have come to challenge you for an alchemy contest.”

Shi Lang asked calmly, “For what joy?”

His response caused the people to shiver, however, the young man replied, “I wish to pursue Maiden Mei, but she said that it would only be possible when I can defeat her in Alchemy.”

Shi Lang rolled his eyes and said, “You wish to pursue her, then have a duel with her, why bother me. Do I look like someone who has a lot of time on his hand?”

His words caused Yang Shen to feel angry, it was as if Shi Lang was looking down on him. Yang Shen said, “Senior Shi, I am being sincere, I cannot bear to face Maiden Mei because if I won, it might harm her Dao Heart and that is not the way I would like for things to go.”

Shi Lang was about to say something when Hao Mei appeared to stand beside him. She looked at Yang Shen with a cold in her eyes, which caused the people at the gate to shiver, Senior Sister Hao Mei is a blooming Lily but when she gets angry, even the strongest of storms look weak. Hao Mei said, “Yang Shen, are you really that clueless that you could not understand, that I was just letting you off with some respect. I guess had that been the case, you would not have shown up at my door to try and duke it out with my Baba. What the hell are you to think that you can compete with him? Also, do you think I am some object that will agree to your pursuit just because you won an alchemy battle?”

Her aura was radiating outside and she took a step forward, and this moment Yang Shen took a step back, he could sense a killing intent radiating from Hao Mei. He realized that he has screwed up.
