Chapter 1110 1110: Tong Bai Shines.
The month passed quickly, all this time, Tong Bai spend time revising the knowledge that she had about the space laws. The lady was standing in the garden with Shi Lang sitting on the chair at some distance. After a display of her move she turned to him and asked, “What do you think?”
Shi Lang didn’t reply instantly, he contemplated before he said, “Well, the display is fine, but the energy consumption is not low. Plus, you will need time to plant the seeds of Dao Law, so you should better prepare a card that you can use to bluff.”
Tong Bai frowned and looked at Shi Lang as she asked, “What card can I use against a sage? They can basically see through everything.”
Shi Lang shrugged with a faint smile on his face and said, “How would I know what you can come up with? This reminds me of the time when you faced the Ghost King of Tralatin.”
Tong Bai paused for a second and then she scoffed at him and rebuked him, “How dare you bring that up. god damn it, I will beat you up right here, you are not allowed to resist Shi Lang.”
The Terran chuckled and vanished from his spot. Tong Bai stomped her foot and then she thought for a moment before she mumbled something, “And you say you can’t suggest anything, brother.”
…
The month passed in a blink, and the people were again gathered in the coliseum. Shi Lang was leaning on Amelia’s shoulder and the envoy appeared in the void. The latter looked around and said, “Time of all the people is precious, so let us begin the battle without any delay. The representative of the human race, and the representative of the Tryant Titan race, please come forward.”
Tong Bai stood up and said, “Guys, if I die, I am sorry.”
Tian Long looked at her and said, “If you die, then wait for us on the path of reincarnation. I will beat you later.”
The people chuckled as Tong Bai vanished from her spot and appeared in the coliseum. Most of the races in the myriad plains were patriarchal, they looked down on women, and only a few rare races or the practitioners who have earned distinguishing reputation among their people looked forward to this battle.
The expert from the Tryant Titan Race also appeared in the coliseum and he stood before Tong Bai, making her look insignificant like an ant. The Tryant Titan was twenty feet tall, and it looked like an actual tree but it had a face on it’s trunk and two branches for arms while the trunk was split in two as well on the bottom to act like legs.
Tong Bai saw the opponent and went into analysis mode, she had been learning all these things from the rest of the people around her, and now she had developed a habit of reading her opponent. This had helped her battle prowess improve by bounds.
She looked at the lanky creature and found that the Tryant was not moving very fast, she could also sense the subtle disturbance in the Dao Laws around her. The young lady nodded faintly her plan might just work.
The envoy looked at the two people engaged in a stare down and he said, “The battle, begin!”
Tong Bai flashed from her position and directly appeared close to the Tryant. The spectators opened their eyes wide. It was said that if you get too close to the Tryant Titans, they could extend their roots and attack you with an entangling move. The fate of those caught in this move was to become a husk of dry flesh and bones.
Tong Bai was five meters away from the Tryant Titan when she sensed something coming for her, and changed her direction while she flicked a few jade balls at the creature. The jade balls collided with a bunch of roots coming towards Tong Bai, and they exploded, opening small void tunnels.
The void tunnels distorted the spatial laws in the surroundings. The Tryant let out a high pitched wincing sound as it retreated the roots. However, Tong Bai had vanished from the ring. The creature turned around trying to locate her, but when he could do so, it was already too late.
The lady appeared in the void and she was levitating near the crown of the tree and she clenched her fist as she said, “Tsunami Punch.”
She landed a hit directly on the base of the Tree Trunk and then vanished. The attack caused the body of the Tryant to ripple. The creature let out wails, because Tong Bai had inserted the spatial Dao Laws inside its body upon contact.
The next moment she opened up a lot of distance from the creature. The Tryant looked at Tong Bai and then let out a roar. It had been enraged, after all, when had it been so injured in a battle, and to think that the opponent was nothing but a human.
A beam of red light headed towards Tong Bai, it was the condensed flame law that was akin to a laze, gave the people a sense of dread. However, the latter didn’t have a trace of fear on her face. Tong Bai smiled and said, “Thank you for the battle, good bye. Space Mirror.”
Tiny dots of light appeared around the Tryant, and all of them swiftly gathered before Tong Bai. Then a translucent diamond appeared before the young lady, and the red light hit the diamond and then it was reflected upon the Tryant.
The tyrant also didn’t expect something like this and Tong Bai cast its biggest attack against itself. He had been enraged and this was un dauntedly strongest attack, one that even he could not counter.
The red beam hit the Tryant chest, and opened a bloody hole in the place where it had a face. The battle was quick and the people were shocked to see this.
