At this moment, with the sun about to set, in the City of Light, outside the royal garden was now teeming with numerous people. All the generals had returned from their missions, and beside them stood the representatives of those kingdoms!

Some of them had returned very early, like Zaylon, who was the first to return, and was now lying on his back, looking at everyone with provocative and triumphant glances.

Others had returned before noon, like Sedar, whom the Centaur race resisted a little, but their resistance ended quickly.

Others returned in the afternoon, like Orion and Valeria, after finishing all the discussions and preparations with the Elven War Kingdom.

And others had only just returned, like Ethar and Ranos, after encountering considerable resistance from both the Golden Lion race and the Dragon race, but due to the immense power they had brought with them, that resistance didn’t last long.

At this moment, amid their busy conversation, the space behind them warped, and a spatial passage opened, and Imris emerged from it, followed by three people walking behind him... two Fourth Level elf warriors gripping the Falcon King, shackled from every part of his body.

"Leave him with them!" Imris gestured toward the group of kingdom representatives, giving the order, then he advanced toward his companions.

"Seems like you’re the last one to arrive, shorty!" Ethar, with his massive body, stepped forward and stood before Imris.

In truth, Imris wasn’t as short as Ethar claimed, but the thing was that Imris’s physical growth wasn’t yet complete, since Imris was still only eleven years old, yet even so, his height was already 1.9 meters!

The average elf height was two meters, and this level of height was considered quite good — an elf at 1.8 meters was considered short, while someone like Vaelor at 2.3 meters was considered genuinely tall.

But there were also height anomalies among the elves. People like Orion and Ethar.

Ethar was a young man of sixteen, and his growth wasn’t fully complete either, but his height had already reached 2.3 meters — the same height as King Vaelor, who was considered tall among the elves!

But as for Orion, who was considered even more extreme, and also considered the tallest of the elves, his height had reached 2.6 meters!

"Forget about that for now, bull-brain, how did things go for you all?" Imris smiled faintly, waving his hand and turning around to face everyone.

"Well, the first one to return among us was that filthy thief!" Ranos pointed at Zaylon, mocking him.

"Heyyy, what do you mean by thief here, didn’t your father teach you not to taunt others about their past?!" Zaylon stood up, feeling insulted by Ranos’s words, and glared at him sharply.

"And didn’t your father teach you not to provoke others just because of some minor victories!" Ranos shot back proudly, but he suddenly felt someone’s hand on his shoulder.

"Alright, calm down, guys!" Imris placed his hand on Ranos’s shoulder, patting it, and gestured toward Zaylon to calm down as well. "What happened in the kingdoms you went to?"

"Well, there were a few fools who didn’t know their place, so I was merciful with them and removed their heads from atop their necks so I wouldn’t burden them too much with thinking, and once the rest saw my mercy, they quickly submitted!" Zaylon mocked, pointing toward the group from the Silent Raven race.

Imris turned and looked at that group — seven people, among them a woman whose beauty he had never seen the like of before, perhaps only Queen Elena was more beautiful than her!

Imris returned his gaze, then looked at Sedar, who was sitting calmly beneath one of the trees "and what about you!"

"Nothing important happened with me" Sedar waved his hand, saying mockingly "they showed some resistance at first, but once I showed them my entire army and gave them a demonstration of what strength truly means, they quickly welcomed us like liberators rather than invaders, especially once we showed them their former king’s head!"

Imris turned and looked at a group of three people from the Centaur race standing anxiously and tensely, then turned again to look at Orion and Valeria.

"And you two, did anything exciting happen with you?"

"Naah! Nothing at all, I just invited my father over and after some discussion he agreed" Orion waved his hand as he lay on his back beneath one of the trees, chewing a blade of grass in his mouth. Beside him, Valeria smiled simply and shrugged her shoulder.

Imris glanced sideways toward that elf man who was standing amid the group of the other kingdoms’ representatives, laughing with pride!

"Hahahahahaha, the day has finally come for me to truly witness the fall of the ancient kingdoms at the hands of the Kingdom of Light, hahahaha!" Aran son of Hannibal, Orion’s father, laughed proudly at the sight of the Falcon King arriving in shackles.

He had originally come to see this King Vaelor, having thought his son was exaggerating his descriptions, but now, having witnessed the fall of the ancient kingdoms at the hands of the City of Light, his pride and emotions were at their peak.

This was something the Sacred Tree of Cradle had failed to accomplish over the course of centuries, yet the Tree of Abyss had done it today, in a single day!

True, he would have been proud had it been the Elven War Kingdom that accomplished this, but he was even prouder that it was the City of Light that had done it.

The City of Light was one of the four ancient kingdoms, and it was also the origin of all elves in this world, and had the Elven War Kingdom been the one to triumph and defeat the other kingdoms, this victory would have belonged to it alone, but since the City of Light was the one that triumphed and succeeded in bringing down the four ancient kingdoms, this victory belonged to all elves.

With this victory, the elves had won the war of the old world — they had won for their faith, for their history, for their ancestors, for their origin, and for their race.

"Ooooh, isn’t this the great and venerated Falcon King, this white chicken!"
