"At least for the time being!"

"W... what do you mean, for the time being!" the King raised his eyebrow and looked at his son in shock and confusion!

"I mean, do you think all these things will remain available to everyone permanently?" Orion shrugged and said mockingly, continuing...

"You’ll have priority access to these things if you join King Vaelor, and once you join, you’ll receive many rewards you couldn’t have dreamed of... like this one!" Orion removed his robe and revealed a red gem embedded in the middle of his chest, pointing to it...

"This is Fifth Level equipment possessing the power of both the Law of Formation and the Law of Life, made by King Vaelor personally for me, and if I use it, my strength will multiply several times over — but if I slack off in bringing benefits to King Vaelor, I won’t receive any more rewards or increase in my strength" Orion sat back down on his throne and explained the system of Vaelor’s kingdom.

"King Vaelor’s system doesn’t depend on bloodline or noble descent, but on how useful you are to the kingdom and how capable you are of providing it with benefits. Based on that, you’ll gain privileges and reach levels and standings you could never have dreamed of before!"

"Does this mean a commoner could become higher in rank and standing than us nobles?" one of the nobles furrowed his brows and looked at Orion in great astonishment "this is truly astonishing, something we’ve never seen the like of in elven history"

"Tsk!" Orion clicked his tongue and looked at that minister with contempt "doesn’t that just mean you’re useless, if a mere commoner can surpass you? Nobility in King Vaelor’s kingdom isn’t about having a prestigious family — it’s about proving to everyone that you’re better than the rest. And the fact that you can’t prove that while a commoner can, means you’re useless and nothing more, so why would the kingdom reward a useless person like you!"

"You!" the minister’s nerves flared at once, feeling anger and insult at Orion’s words, and he stood up quickly, glaring at Orion, sparks of rage flashing in his eyes.

"Enough!" the King struck the armrest of his throne in anger once more, and after the minister sat back down, he looked at his son Orion again for a while... and after finishing his deliberation...

"I will go with you to see this King Vaelor!"

My Liege!

Your Majesty!

The moment they heard the King’s decision, most of the ministers jumped up from their places at once in alarm, looking at their king in astonishment.

"Sit down, all of you, you wretches, who do you think I am, damn it, do you think I’m just some child still learning, or what" the King struck the armrest of his throne again until it shattered, and once everyone had finally calmed down, he spoke again...

"Besides, I only said I want to meet him, I didn’t say I would submit to him!"

Hehehehe, oh yes you will! Orion mocked inwardly, for he knew exactly what would happen the moment his father met King Vaelor.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Arrows launched one after another, and with every arrow loosed from the elven bows, dozens of Falcons fell from the sky like flies!

Atop the Storm Mountain’s peak, inside the throne hall of the Storm Kingdom, Imris stood before dozens of Falcons at the peak of the Third Level, and behind them stood the Falcon King, who had reached the Fourth Level, along with his wife!

"Do you think these insects can stop me from reaching you?" Imris tilted his head to the side and looked at the Falcon King coldly, speaking calmly.

"Withdraw your soldiers, elf child, we’ve already lost the war against you and we’re prepared to sign a peace treaty, there’s no need to spill all this blood!" the Falcon King gritted his teeth and spoke reluctantly against his own will. Imris had come knocking on his door with sixty thousand warriors whose strength approached the Fourth Level, in addition to a hundred Fourth Level warriors equipped with gear that made them even stronger, not to mention Imris himself, of course.

All those warriors now surrounded his kingdom, preventing anyone from fleeing, and whoever tried to escape was killed on the spot. At this very moment, all the Falcons were being captured without distinction of gender or age, and whoever refused capture and chose to fight was killed immediately!

As for the royal palace, no one could escape from it, because at this moment there were eight Fourth Level elves surrounding the palace from every direction!

"And where was that peace treaty every time you were plotting to bring down the City of Light. Where was that peace treaty when you supported the Centaur army numerous times so they could attack us. Where was that peace treaty when you attacked the City of Light with your army and killed however many of us you killed!" Imris raised his eyebrow and spoke with a strangely calm tone, but with every word he spoke, his killing intent gradually rose. Yet in the end he shook his head mockingly...

"But you know what the delightful part of this is — all the other kingdoms were given the chance to submit first, before any attack was launched, and even when they were attacked, orders came not to overindulge in bloodshed, and those kingdoms would ultimately be preserved!" then he pointed his dagger toward the Falcon King’s head...

"But you and your kingdom, a direct order came concerning you specifically — show no mercy whatsoever. Whoever among you surrenders will become a slave for the rest of their life, and whoever among you wishes to fight will meet nothing but the grave. Orders have come to destroy your kingdom completely — every stone, every tree, and every pebble must be destroyed, your very trace must be erased entirely from history, as punishment for what your hands have committed!" the moment he said this, Imris vanished from his spot, and everyone immediately felt a cold shiver running through their entire bodies. Upon seeing this, the Falcon King shouted in terror...

"Watch him carefully, he could appear anywhere, guard each other’s backs and don’t let him....!" the Falcon King shouted, giving his orders, but before he could finish speaking, everyone’s eyes widened at the sight of a terrifying scene!
