Chapter 214: An Invitation-3

"Enough!" the King struck the throne with his fist and looked angrily at the ministers and Valeria. From the side, Orion looked at Valeria with a smile on his face.

"People, King Vaelor is only eight months old, and before his arrival, the City of Light was a decaying city on the verge of complete ruin. But after he came, he seized full control of it and raised the standing of the elves within it, after they had been lowly among the peoples. Before his arrival, Third Level fighters were the pinnacle and the masters of the city, but after his arrival, they came to be seen in the streets like commoners in the markets, and now Fourth Level fighters are being produced en masse!" Orion spoke, and everyone listened attentively, and no one dared object due to the King’s orders.

The King first ran his spiritual sense over the small vial, and when he felt the sealed aura of the Law of Life within it, his eyes widened at once in shock, and he looked at his son again, pointing at the box...

"Does this liquid truly contain the energy of the Law of Life!"

"Yes, otherwise how do you expect I became this powerful!" Orion looked at his father and spoke with confidence, then swept his gaze over the rest of the ministers and said mockingly "my body has been completely purified of any impurities, and enormous amounts of the Law of Life’s energy have been pumped into it, making it stronger, tougher, faster in response, and more flexible!" then he turned back to look at his father again and pointed at the vial...

"This vial in your hands is the ideal substance for Body path users, and even among different worlds it’s a rare commodity, but King Vaelor can produce as much of it as he wishes, because he possesses the abilities of the Sacred Tree of Life!"

The King looked at the vial with eyes filled with desire and greed, and when Orion saw that look, he smiled inwardly and said to his father "you can keep it regardless, I was going to give it to you as a gift from the start anyway!"

"Ahem! Ahem! We’ll see about that later!" the King coughed in embarrassment upon hearing his son’s words, and quickly waved his hand, hiding the vial from everyone’s sight, and the ministers’ eyes bulged with envy at seeing this shameless move, but they could say nothing!

After settling the matter of the vial, the King turned his focus back to the box, specifically to the metal card.
