Chapter 515: Dragons

The Dragons were flying through the sky, searching every location to find where the Wyverns had hidden themselves, when they heard a particularly loud and shrill voice calling the name Vulcan.

Vulcarion was instantly irked by it because a human had his initials as their name, and he came to check.

"Dragon!" Vulcan snarled.

"Human! Keep your voice down in my presence!" Vulcarion retorted and started walking towards Vulcan furiously.

Vulcan was immediately alarmed and swung his mace wildly. The next moment, the spiked head of the mace detached from the handle and shot towards Vulcarion at a curved angle, a long chain connecting the head to the handle.

"You really think petty things like external weapons can hurt me?" Vulcarion said with a sneer as his eyes tracked the movement of the spiked head. Just as it was about to strike his wing, his hands turned into sharp claws that gripped it like a sponge ball.

A sponge ball in the literal sense, because the next moment Vulcarion compressed the hard metal like soft clay with his bare claws.

In front of Vulcan’s wide eyes, the dragon yanked the destroyed piece of metal backward, pulling Vulcan along with it due to the attached chain and his firm grip on the handle.

"Oh no!" Vulcan suddenly felt he might die.

"Clast! Attack him!" he called to his beast mid-flight as he conjured dense flames around his fist, ready to strike Vulcarion.

But Vulcarion grinned.

Because the Pyroclast Drake was already cowering in fear after the Dragons had appeared. It would have been one thing if it were only the bloodline suppression from the dragons, but the dragons were also far stronger than the drake. There was no way it could move an inch without their permission.

"What did you do?!" Vulcan shouted, throwing his fist at Vulcarion with tremendous force.

"Something that your pea-like brain can never understand!" Vulcarion replied as he charged his own fist and threw it with a comparatively relaxed motion.

Both fists collided, and Vulcan’s fist crumbled instantly under the force of impact. Fingers twisted out of shape and bones pulverized almost instantly. The bleeding wound was cauterized by the flames in the same moment as Vulcan found himself flung away, screaming in agony.

"Weak fuckers like you don’t deserve to have my noble name," Vulcarion said with a sneer.

"Young Master!!!"

The others immediately reacted, ready to attack. But—

"Who said you can act?" Pyrotrax said calmly from above, his voice clear enough to echo in every ear.

His chest expanded as he took a deep breath; even his cheeks bulged in preparation for a breath attack.

And that’s exactly what he did. He spewed dense reddish flames that covered the entire region occupied by the 30 men in an instant. Even Vulcarion was caught in it, but the flames seemed completely ineffective against him.

Pained screams rang through the area as the shadows worked overtime to secure all the redheads and family members.

"Humans and their tactics to cover for their weaknesses," Vulcarion spat as he watched the injured people being carried away to safety.

"Ah! Ah! ARRHH!"

Vulcarion’s attention snapped back to the groaning man clutching his destroyed hand who had be thrown outside the range of the flame breath.

Vulcan’s face was contorted in agony, and he was on his knees, staring at the pulverized hand.

"Haha!" Vulcarion laughed heartily at the scene before him.

"Listen, you weak fucker. If I ever hear someone call you by my name around me, be ready to lose not only one hand, but every limb. Even your pecker won’t be spared. It would be better for you to change your name."

Vulcarion stepped closer menacingly, which sent Vulcan into a mental crisis. He started crawling backward, eyes filled with tears brought on by the pain of his destroyed hand.

Somehow, Leo simply watched all of this without catching the attention of the dragons. The only thing he was missing was some snack to munch on as he enjoyed the show from a front-row seat.

Vulcarion had just finished bullying the man and was looking at his own palm, disappointed that he couldn’t get a proper feeling from hitting or killing someone.

"Who are you?"

Leo snapped his hand to the side, catching a draconic fist that was about to slam into his abdomen. The force behind it was enough to shatter every bone in a Pseudo 3-star body.

"Aren’t you impolite? This is not a question that should be asked while throwing a punch at the subject."

Saying that, Leo flung the caught hand upward as the person stabilized himself with his draconic wings.

Naelith and Lyswenna immediately drew their bows and aimed at the newcomer.

"Igni! What the hell are you doing? You can’t even immobilize a man with a single punch?" Pyro shouted from a distance. Steam still drifted from his mouth, and the corners of his lips were red from using his flame breath.

"Shut up! This man looks stronger than he seems. I used less force."

Igni shouted back, glaring at Leo as if trying to discern his strength.

"This guy... he’s as strong as we are," Igni muttered after sensing Leo’s strength at Low 4-star.

Even though Leo was actually right at the cusp of Mid 4-star, Igni didn’t want to admit that a human around the same age as him was stronger than him.

"Hah! I am superior with my superior traits!"

Saying that, Ignivorax dived down with his claws aimed at Leo’s chest.

Naelith was about to loose her arrow, but Leo stopped her.

"That’s some aggressive handshaking," Leo said with a smirk and literally stopped the clawed hand with a handshake.

Pop!

The sudden stop made Ignivorax’s shoulder pop as his face contorted in pain.

Crack!

Leo clenched his fist, producing a sharp cracking sound as scales and bones snapped.

"Y-you—!"

Leo shook his hand, but instead of a gentle shake, he made a full arc from head to toe, ragdolling Ignivorax with the motion.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Leo. What’s yours?"

Saying that, Leo flung him away toward Pyrotrax, who was still airborne.
