Bang!

A booming sound resounded as a streak of green light broke through the sound barrier and shot forward.

"Sky Fall!"

A low voice echoed across the surroundings, and the streak of green light instantly appeared before a twenty-meter-tall bear, punching it directly in the face.

BOOOOOOM!

ROAR!

The giant bear roared in pain as its massive body was blasted backward, spinning through the air before crashing ten meters away.

BOOOOOOM!

A large area of the ground collapsed under the weight of the gigantic bear, and hundreds of trees snapped into splinters.

Before the bear could even stand up after being blasted away by Evan, a deep-crimson arrow cut through the air and exploded near its eyes, blinding it for a few seconds.

ROAR!

The monster roared in pain and rolled around, struggling to get back on its feet.

Liam didn’t miss such a good opportunity and his nimble figure immediately climbed onto the bear’s head, stopping right beside one of its eyes.

The dagger in his hand gleamed with cold light, and without hesitation, he stabbed it directly into the bear’s eye.

The monster’s eye was protected by thick, tough skin, preventing Liam’s dagger from penetrating very deeply.

However, Liam didn’t care as his dagger was coated in lethal poison.

The instant the tip of his dagger pierced the tough skin around the bear’s eye, the poison took effect, and the bear’s eye began to melt.

ROARRR!!!

A terrifying roar filled with immense pain erupted from the bear’s mouth and without caring about anything else, the monster swung one of its claws toward its own head, where Liam was standing.

Liam’s expression changed slightly, and he immediately tried to retreat. However, the bear’s attack was too fast, and its claw reached him in an instant.

Just as the claw was about to strike him—

"Light Shield!"

Kevin’s voice echoed through the surroundings, and a white shield appeared before Liam.

The bear’s claw slammed into the shield, causing it to tremble before shattering into tiny fragments in barely a second.

However, that brief second gave Liam enough time to retreat safely.

"Thanks, Kevin!" Liam exclaimed with a sigh of relief, his voice filled with gratitude. He knew that without Kevin’s help, he would’ve been seriously injured by that attack.

As Liam escaped, the bear stood up and glared at Evan and the others with its remaining blood-red eye.

"Flame Wheel!"

But before the bear could do anything, Alice, who was standing nearby, launched a small wheel of fire toward the monster like a flying disc.

The Flame Wheel was only one meter in diameter when Alice launched it, but it continued to expand until it reached thirty meters across, completely encircling the bear.

ROARRR!!!

The bear roared as it found itself trapped inside the ring of flames.

Alice ignored the monster’s roar and unleashed the full power of her skill.

"Burn!"

As soon as she gave the command, the Flame Wheel began to spin rapidly, expanding into a massive cylindrical wall of fire that engulfed the bear’s enormous body.

ROARRR!!!

Evan and the others could only hear the bear’s painful roars as it struggled inside the blazing inferno.

After thirty seconds, the cylindrical wall of fire finally disappeared, revealing the charred body of the twenty-meter-tall bear.

[You have killed Rank One Titan Dark Bear, Level 50.]

[You have cleared the ninth floor.]

[You can now enter the tenth floor.]

"Such a powerful Rank One monster..." Kevin took a deep breath as he sat down on the ground. "I feel like this bear was even stronger than the Rank Two ape we faced on the fifth floor."

Liam walked over to Kevin and sat down beside him.

"It was the final monster of the ninth floor, so it’s not surprising that it was so strong," He said as he took out a bottle of water and drank from it.

Erza glanced at Liam and spoke in a low voice.

"You should pay more attention during combat. If not for Kevin’s quick reaction, you would’ve been done for."

Liam didn’t deny Erza’s words. Instead, he nodded seriously, knowing that he had indeed been careless.

"It won’t happen again."

Evan went to check whether the bear had a Mana Core and after finding one, he returned to Alice and the others.

"The tenth floor will be the last one. I wonder what kind of monster we’ll face there," He said, anticipation evident on his face.

Kevin looked at his eager expression and couldn’t help chuckling.

"You’re the only Rank One Evolver I know who would be so excited at the prospect of fighting a Rank Two monster."

Evan shrugged at Kevin’s words. After all, he really was excited about facing a Rank Two monster.

Alice looked at everyone’s condition and spoke after a moment.

"Let’s rest for a few hours before heading to the last floor."

No one objected to her suggestion. They took out some food and began eating while recovering their energy.

"You must be quite disappointed with this floor, right, Evan?" Liam asked with a faint smile as he leaned back against a tree.

Evan raised an eyebrow at Liam’s words and asked in confusion, "Why do you think that?"

"Isn’t it because you didn’t get many Mana Cores on this floor?" Erza answered before Liam could. "On the other floors, you collected plenty of Mana Cores. But here on the ninth floor, there weren’t many monsters, just a few Titan-type monsters that didn’t give you many cores."

Evan shook his head at Erza’s words.

"I already have over three thousand cores. Although I won’t be able to buy everything I want, that’s still quite a lot, and I’m very satisfied with it."

Alice raised an eyebrow when she heard Evan’s response and smiled slightly.

"I’m surprised you’re the one saying that. From your attempts to plunder treasures from the academy’s students, I was starting to think you were some kind of thug on your planet."

Evan’s eyes twitched when he heard this, and he kept his mouth shut. He knew that, whether he admitted it or not, he had also been influenced by Alfred.

Seeing him remain silent, Kevin and the others chuckled but decided not to tease him further.

After resting for three hours, everyone had fully recovered.

"Alright, let’s clear the last floor and go home," Liam said, becoming the first to step into the portal leading to the final floor.

Evan and the others followed him and stepped into the portal as well.

[You have arrived at the tenth floor of the dungeon.]

A notification flashed before their eyes, and they found themselves standing before a tall black gate.
