Chapter 1121: Helena
Chapter 1121: Chapter 903: Helena
In the instant the Dragon Meteor poured down, the entire stone corridor was illuminated by the dark golden firelight.
The ancient patterns on the stone walls flickered violently under the intense heat, many of them dimming immediately.
But Helena just stood there, surrounded by a thin layer of silver-white light.
The dark golden fire rain fell within three feet of her, as if it had entered another space, not a single spark touched even the hem of her clothing.
She stood in the middle of the sea of fire, her snow-white Magic Robe spotless, as though she were outside a painting being scorched by flames.
Valentine’s Dragon Breath followed closely, golden flames engulfing the entire passage like a torrent, burning the stone walls as if they were melting candles.
However, Helena remained in place, that silver-white light like a thin yet impassable spatial barrier, completely isolating her from the world ignited by the Dragon Breath.
The Dragon Breath struck this layer of barrier without a sound, causing no impact, simply vanishing into thin air, as if flowing into a non-existent river.
Area attacks were completely ineffective against her because the ground beneath her feet had already been isolated from the entire stone corridor using Spatial Rules, equivalent to another independent space, where neither Dragon Meteor nor Dragon Breath could reach her world.
Valentine saw this clearly too, abruptly halting the Dragon Breath, the anger in his Dragon Eyes burned even more intensively, yet a trace of icy rationality returned deep in his eyes.
He raised his Dragon Head, uttering a series of even more ancient Dragon Language, this time so low it was almost a whisper, carrying a majesty that made the entire stone corridor tremble slightly.
Raising his right claw, he fiercely clawed at the void, as if tearing something out from his own chest.
A surge of intensely dark golden blood poured out simultaneously from his mouth and wound, coalescing into a twisting blood-red Dragon Pattern in mid-air.
The Dragon Pattern hovered above his head, slowly rotating, emitting a hum with each turn that made the surrounding air as dense as mud.
With each rotation of the Dragon Pattern, countless fine golden arcs jumped from the edges, spreading in all directions.
This was Valentine’s Bloodline Secret Technique, the Golden Dragon Vein Realm.
At the cost of burning his bloodline, he forcibly projected the power of the Golden Dragon Vein into reality, forming a temporary Dragon Vein Domain.
When the Golden Dragon Vein Realm unfolded, Valentine’s entire body became the absolute core of that domain.
The dark golden Dragon Pattern above his head spun wildly, pressing the spatial fluctuations in his domain to near solidification.
He stepped forward, the entire domain moving with him, like an invisible solid giant wall crushing toward Helena.
Valentine pressed the full weight of the Golden Dragon Vein Realm, intending to shatter Helena and her isolated space with the most primitive and pure power.
Helena saw his intent clearly, she lightly tapped her feet, swiftly gliding to the right like a silver-white snowflake swept by the wind.
Valentine did not change direction; he intended to crash through, smash that obstructive spatial barrier.
As he carried the enormous domain of the Dragon Vein Realm into collision with that isolated space, a deep boom echoed through the air.
The silver-white spatial boundary where Helena stood before first dented severely, then shattered like an ice surface struck by a heavy hammer.
The power of the Dragon Vein Realm, at the moment it breached the barrier, flooded in like a dam breaking, tearing everything in that area to pieces in an incredibly short time.
The ground, the air, and the ancient patterns on the stone walls all twisted, shattered, and disintegrated under the infusion of Dragon Might.
The entire stone corridor felt as though a chunk had been gouged out of thin air.
But Helena was no longer there; she stood afar, her long hair and Magic Robe lifted by the aftermath of that collision, her face showing no fear, only a scholar’s faint focus akin to evaluating experimental data.
Valentine slowly turned around, Dragon Eyes locking onto her, just as he was about to charge with the domain again, Helena had already raised her hands.
Between her palms, the air began rippling like water surface.
The ripples expanded from her palm circle by circle, quickly covering the entire stone corridor, followed by another circle, and another.
Space rapidly fluctuated, overlapped between her hands, like countless invisible mirrors simultaneously shattering and reorganizing.
Valentine felt the ground beneath twisting, the ceiling stretching, space in all directions seemed locked, flipped, and simultaneously torn by some force.
His Dragon Vein Realm domain felt like it had fallen into a quagmire of fractured space, every step forward faced pulling from all sides.
Helena clapped her hands forward abruptly, and hundreds of thousands of spatial ripples contracted toward Valentine at once, the air around him compressed to the limit, the entire space squeezed inward like a clenched fist.
Valentine’s pupils constricted sharply, his Dragon Language chant rose in his throat, the dark golden blood lifted onto the surface of the Scale Armor as if alive, the Dragon Vein Realm suddenly contracted inward, as he exerted all his strength to tear through the layers of spatial barriers ahead, forcefully ripping open a bloody gap from the enclosing spatial fist.
