After his deep discussion with Olisti, Isaac departed to set up the ritual for the Divine Spirit Book.

It was worth noting that Isaac had crafted his new image quite well, successfully turning things around with Olisti. As a result, Olisti no longer made Isaac gather the materials himself, but prepared them all for him directly!

This nearly moved Isaac to tears!

In all his years as a Wizard, this was the first time he had gathered all the necessary materials so easily!

The only time he could remember it being this easy was when he had just become a Wizard. Even then, gathering materials had been difficult, but that was mostly because he had no money—not like now, where people simply refused to sell to him.

Thinking of this, Isaac couldn’t help but shed a bitter tear.

However, he quickly pulled himself together. ’But this will all be in the past soon!’

His success with Olisti proved that the orthodox Wizarding World had little issue with the enslavement of Deities. As long as one didn’t resort to the methods of a Mad Witch and things remained under control, other Wizards wouldn’t discriminate.

High above the Demon Remains Wilderness, a menacing rift in the Void abruptly appeared. Isaac, clad in a white robe, stepped out. He surveyed his surroundings, and after confirming the environment hadn’t changed significantly, he waved his hand, tossing the materials one by one onto the Wilderness below.

Demon Claw Harmon also emerged from the back of his head to help Isaac lay out the Ritual Array.

Soon, the ritual was complete—still a top-tier configuration with a one-thousand-percent margin for error.

It was worth noting that even though he had obtained some Knowledge from Olisti regarding the Divine Stars, Isaac was still using the original version of the ritual without any modifications.

After all, fully digesting this Knowledge would take time, as would modifying the ritual to incorporate it. Besides, this Divine Spirit Book was just for practice. Isaac planned to create several more later, so it wouldn’t be too late to make changes then. By that point, with the crafting data from this book in hand, the modifications might even be more intuitive.

Soon, after a final customary check, Isaac activated the ritual. Drawn by its pull, Magic Power and the Power of Miracles emerged from the Void. Simultaneously, the somber sky darkened, becoming a pitch-black canopy upon which only nine brilliant Divine Stars shone.

A unique Divine Power descended with the starlight, shining directly upon the Divine Spirit Book. A multicolored radiance began to emanate from the book. Then, drawn by this mysterious, multicolored glow, faint golden threads of the Power of Time drifted out from an unspeakable place and merged into the Divine Spirit Book.

At this sight, Isaac’s brow furrowed sharply.

’An anomaly...’

’has appeared!’

’And a bad one, at that...’

Of course, this wouldn’t affect the creation or efficacy of the Divine Spirit Book. It merely meant that the source of the book’s power... was a little problematic.

As mentioned before, while a Legendary Mage’s [Legend] would possess abilities identical or similar to those in its source story, the fundamental nature of those abilities was different.

Take Isaac’s Fairy Elf, for instance. In *Cinderella*, the Fairy Elf is an Extraordinary creature the size of a fist, with transparent wings, resembling a miniature Elf. In the Real World, the closest creatures in appearance are the elf race.

But the elf race possesses neither the Fairy Elf’s magical wish-granting ability nor its incredible Transformation Magic, nor do they have a habit of granting wishes. As High-level Creatures on a similar footing as Giant Dragons and Demons, the elf race has no need for such a troublesome way to acquire power—devouring souls is much more efficient.

Therefore, the "Fairy Elf" Isaac Summoned through [Fantasy Legend: Fairy Elf] was just a peculiar creature possessing the abilities of a Fairy Elf. To this day, Isaac still hadn’t figured out what kind of being Aein actually was; regardless, it was definitely not related to Elves.

As a power that was the Upper Position of [Legend], [Miracle] was much the same—the effect was identical, but the principles behind it were not necessarily so.

This was also why academic Legendary Mages like Olisti looked down upon Wizards who relied on [Legend] and [Miracle] to solve their problems.

After all, their results were not replicable.

Although Isaac was currently researching how to replicate the Magical Treasures forged by [Miracle], the reality was that, much like how [Analysis] could not deconstruct the data of the Wind-Fire Wheel, there was a high probability this research would end in failure.

This was because a large part of their underlying principles was unknown!

And now, a similar situation was occurring with the Divine Spirit Book.

The good news, of course, was that the situation with the Divine Spirit Book was slightly better than that of the Wind-Fire Wheel. Isaac knew where this portion of power was coming from.

But at the same time, that was also the bad news...

The Unspeakable—a special designation for a class of Evil Gods. Their power was exceptionally bizarre, originating from [Observation], manifesting in diverse forms, and possessing extreme Undying and Erosive properties!

These types of Evil Gods were the most troublesome to deal with. Not only were they difficult to kill, but their power also had strong Corrosion. And the most bizarre part was that their power could easily spread through "Knowledge," which, for Wizards, made them akin to a natural predator!

Many Wizards, without ever realizing it, would become their thralls.

Therefore, the Wizarding World had strict regulations forbidding contact with the power of these Unspeakable Deities. If anyone was discovered...

An ordinary Wizard would be executed. A Mad Witch would be confined, forbidden from operating outside a designated area until they formally stepped into Tier Six!

Watching the Power of Time from the Unspeakable merge into the Divine Spirit Book, Isaac’s heart slowly sank.

He wasn’t worried that this power would backlash against him. As a link in the power system of a Legendary Mage, the constraints of [Legend] and [Miracle] were incredibly strong. Unless the entity could directly destroy the entire Wizarding World, the Anchor Point of a [Miracle] was unbelievably firm. A backlash was impossible.

Just as he had considered, this was the era of Wizards, and an extremely prosperous one at that. Although the Unspeakable Evil Gods were troublesome and difficult to kill, they were not unkillable. A High-tier Mage could completely erase them on a conceptual level!

Thus, the Wizarding World currently only held a cautious attitude toward the Unspeakable Evil Gods, strictly limiting their power to a designated range for research purposes. The danger was actually manageable.

Or, to be more accurate, it was a mixed blessing. While researching these things was dangerous, the level of support for it within the Wizarding World was quite high—one could apply for a lot of funding!

And from multiple sources, at that!

One could receive massive funding from both the Flesh Sect and the Truth Association.

This undoubtedly conflicted with Isaac’s current goal. He didn’t need funding or special attention right now. He needed to maintain his image, dammit!

As Isaac watched with a dark expression, all the power summoned by the ritual fused completely into the Divine Spirit Book. The increasingly bizarre, multicolored radiance slowly receded into the book, and it once again became an unremarkable White Jade Book.
