As a fellow High-level Mage, Evans didn’t keep Isaac waiting long. After all, though the Divine Birth Ceremony was of high status and extremely difficult to research, studying a finished plan was not a major issue.

He was a High-level Mage, after all. His ability to learn was still up to par.

So, just as Isaac finished reading Soron’s research data, a message from Evans came through—"You actually managed to create it?!!"

Isaac could clearly sense Evans’s shock from the message, which was understandable. Don’t be fooled by how casually the God Creation experiments were mentioned before, making it seem as if any High-level Mage could access them.

Of course, that part was true. As long as a High-level Mage set his mind to it, there were few Magics in the world he couldn’t access. However, being able to learn something and being able to create it were two entirely different things.

In fact, despite the Wizarding World having seen numerous God Creation experiments, the leaders of these experiments were, at a bare minimum, Tier Five!

Even Tier Four Miracle Mages were only qualified to serve as assistants!

After all, the subject of a God Creation experiment was a Deity—at least Tier Six!

A Deity, not a Divine Species!

So, of course Evans was shocked!

Although Isaac had currently only designed the experimental plan and not actually performed God Creation, it was still something beyond the capabilities of an ordinary High-level Mage. Even among Tier Four or Tier Five Mages, it was doubtful anyone could have come up with it!

For Isaac, however, this wasn’t something to be proud of. After all, the credit for the Divine Birth Ceremony wasn’t entirely his. His Golden Finger’s ability to fill in gaps and correct deficiencies was the primary reason for its creation.

But Evans was unaware of all this, and Isaac had no intention of explaining the inner workings.

Fortunately, Evans was a High-level Mage, and his composure was quite strong. After his brief shock, he sent over a large volume of analytical data on the Divine Birth Ceremony via the Sect Magic Book.

A faint light glimmered in Isaac’s eyes. Coordinating with his [Analysis] Authority, he quickly went through all of Evans’s research data.

From this research report, Isaac got the feeling that Evans hadn’t fully grasped the Divine Birth Ceremony, even though Isaac had made it as simple and easy to understand as he possibly could.

Isaac felt that if Evans were to set up and preside over this ritual, the success rate would probably be only around one percent, not even reaching the baseline ten percent.

In truth, Isaac knew that the ritual he had developed with the help of his Golden Finger and [Analysis] Authority was incredibly profound. It involved a great deal of Knowledge about Deities, so it was natural that it would be difficult to understand.

But in Isaac’s view, Evans shouldn’t be at this level. After all, the foundation Isaac had used to create the ritual came from the pieces of a Deity’s corpse that Evans had provided. Evans had held his share of the corpse for much longer than Isaac; he shouldn’t be this limited in his understanding...

But in reality, this just showed that Isaac didn’t understand Evans—or, to be more accurate, he didn’t understand ordinary High-level Mages.

Originally, although Isaac’s advancement had been rapid, because he was a Mad Witch who had fought his way up, his foundation—be it his Ability Values or his breadth of Knowledge—was not much weaker than that of a normal High-level Mage. On top of that, he had a research-assisting cheat in the form of his Golden Finger.

In both learning and research capabilities, Isaac far surpassed other Mages of his tier.

As a result, many things that seemed perfectly normal and commonplace to him were somewhat difficult for other Mages to comprehend.

Take, for example, the research project on stealing the Divine Power of the God of Credit. Isaac had prepared for it for a long time, even devising a series of research plans that he had shared with the others.

Isaac then studied and researched alongside them. Before long, he had already tested every possibility within the plan and concluded that it was unfeasible. He needed to acquire more Knowledge and design a new research plan from scratch.

Yet, in that same amount of time, the others hadn’t even managed to meet the plan’s initial prerequisites.

Isaac admittedly had a head start, since he had designed the entire plan himself, but that advantage wasn’t really that significant—at least, not *that* significant.

Now, so much time had passed that Isaac had already created the Divine Birth Ceremony from scratch, while they still hadn’t finished researching the previous plan.

That’s right. The gap between Isaac and other Mages was just that large.

And that was to be expected. After all, with so many cheats, if he were still on the same level as an ordinary Mage, wouldn’t they all be for nothing?

It was just that Isaac was used to working alone, like playing a single-player game. He rarely had opportunities for normal academic exchange with other Mages, and thus lacked an accurate perception of himself.

Fortunately, Isaac was accustomed to "flying solo," so he didn’t dwell on Evans’s "shallow" understanding. He was merely a little puzzled.

His purpose for this trip was to submit the Divine Birth Ceremony to the Sect and, in exchange, obtain more Knowledge related to Deities so he could continue his research.
