Wizard: My Skills Can Infinitely Break Through
Chapter 575 Clearing the Nest
But under the suppression of a complete Rule Domain, even mobilizing their Energy was a pipe dream.
Deeper within, an even more hidden and vast presence began to stir.
The Mother Insect had awakened.
It possessed little combat power on its own, but its Will was the core of the entire Insect Nest.
At that moment, the collective Will frantically assaulted the Domain’s seal, attempting to send a warning to the Void Nest beyond the sky.
But Ian wasn’t about to give it the chance. He pressed his palm downward through the air.
"In My name... Purify everything!"
Within the Domain, the temperature began to skyrocket.
All the members of the Insect Race, starting from the periphery and moving inward in concentric waves, silently disintegrated and vaporized.
Mating Bees, Swift Beasts, Bone-Eating Insects, Shadow Wing Insects... All of the Insect Race, regardless of Level or type.
In the face of such an absolute disparity in Power Level, it made no difference.
Only the two Level Four Insect Guards lasted for about a second longer.
Their Shells were thicker and their Energy resistance was stronger, but that only bought them an extra second.
Inside their Shells, their bodies began to disintegrate. The light in their compound eyes flickered wildly, betraying their primal fear and indignation.
But they couldn’t even manage a screech as their bodies turned bit by bit to Ashes, dissipating into the air.
The entire Purification process took no more than ten breaths.
The surface of the entire Insect Nest, which spanned a five-thousand-li radius, was wiped clean, leaving only the purple-black Nest structure standing alone on the barren Earth.
In a flash, Ian appeared at the Nest’s entrance. His Gravity Perception pierced through its many layers, reaching three thousand meters underground to the area around a natural Energy Node.
Tens of thousands of Crystal Core Insects were still clustered there, the dark purple Energy Liquid circulating slowly within their bodies.
They remained unharmed, as Ian had intentionally avoided this area.
Nearby, four Insect Guards stood watch around the Node. At this moment, all of them were looking up.
Their compound eyes were filled with wariness and confusion. They could sense their brethren in the surface Nest disappearing at an alarming rate.
But the Mother Insect had issued no commands, and the hive mind was deathly silent.
’It’s time to end this.’
Ian took a step, his form disappearing into the Nest’s passages. The Gravity Rule cleared a path before him, silently pulverizing all obstacles.
Three breaths later, he appeared before the Energy Node.
The four Level Four Insect Guards shrieked in unison, their razor-sharp forelimbs slashing down. They moved with lightning speed, their strikes powerful enough to tear space.
But to Ian, they were still too slow.
He didn’t even lift a hand. With a mere thought, the space in a hundred-meter radius around the Node instantly solidified.
The four Guards were frozen in mid-air, locked in their charging poses.
The next moment, the temperature inside their bodies skyrocketed. A crimson glow seeped from the cracks in their Shells, only to be swiftly extinguished.
Four small piles of dark purple Ashes drifted to the ground.
Ian’s gaze fell upon the Crystal Core Insects.
They remained unresponsive, merely continuing to instinctively absorb and convert the World Origin seeping from the Node.
’Such good little Insects. Time to collect them.’
He raised his right hand, a miniature Gravity Vortex materializing in his palm. One by one, the Crystal Core Insects were sucked into the vortex to be compressed and stored.
Inside each Crystal Core Insect was a small glob of golden Energy Liquid.
This was the converted World Origin. While the amount from each was small, the total from tens of thousands of them was substantial.
Ian sent his consciousness into the vortex, where a vast and pure stream of Origin Energy was coalescing.
’It’s still not quite enough,’ he thought, shaking his head. He then stored the vortex in his personal space.
This amount of Origin Energy was a far cry from what Aisala needed to advance to Level Six.
Ian turned and looked toward the deepest part of the Nest, where the Mother Insect’s presence had grown so faint it was nearly imperceptible.
Its Will was so thoroughly suppressed by the Domain that it couldn’t even self-destruct.
Ian walked to the "Breeding Chamber" where the Mother Insect was located.
There, he saw an enormous, bloated insectoid form, practically immobile.
Its surface was covered in a translucent Shell, through which countless writhing egg sacs were visible.
The Mother Insect’s compound eyes glared at Ian, radiating hatred and despair.
’A pity. I can’t enslave you just yet.’ Ian flicked his index finger.
The temperature within the Mother Insect’s body surged. One by one, the egg sacs burst, and its tissues rapidly vaporized.
Three breaths later, the Level Four Queen Insect had vanished completely.
All that remained was a small pile of dark purple crystalline powder—the remnants of its Energy Core.
With a single thought, Ian’s Gravity Field forcibly compressed the entire Nest structure, the Insect corpses, and all residual Energy fluctuations, reducing everything to a single gray bead.
And just like that, the Insect Nest that had spanned a five-thousand-li radius was utterly erased.
VMMMM!!!
An indescribably vast Will swept in from beyond the heavens.
Like an invisible tsunami, it instantly engulfed the entire Esok World!
The pale purple Rift in the sky twisted violently as a vast, cold fury poured out from within!
The Will of the Void Nest had descended.
It had sensed the disappearance of one of its Nests—one that had vanished without a trace!
Such methods were far beyond the capabilities of the Essoke People. An "outsider" was hunting its Nests!
The otherworldly Will was enraged!
A furious Will, brimming with destructive desire, swept across the entire region, frantically searching for any anomaly.
Space was scanned again and again. Energy fluctuations were meticulously analyzed. The Will even pierced through the rock strata thousands of meters underground!
But Ian was already long gone.
The second before the Nest’s Will descended, he had already sunk tens of thousands of meters underground, the Gravity Rule clinging to his skin and perfectly sealing his presence.
He had become like a lifeless piece of Stone.
The Will swept over him.
But his Gravity Rule perfectly mimicked the density and structure of the surrounding rock strata, leaving not the slightest flaw to be found.
The Will swept back and forth three times. Finally, with indignant fury, it slowly retreated back beyond the heavens.
