"Don’t you want to know about that ’real’ world? I even know how to get into it. Don’t you want to know?"

"You bastard! How can anyone be such a bastard?!"

"Heh heh... Never mind, never mind. As long as you sincerely apologize to the great clown, Mr. Arnold Lilith Leonard, I’ll tell you what I’ve discovered. How about it?"

"This is the greatest secret of the Divine Prohibition Era, a mystery that the vast majority of people could never hope to uncover, you know."

"So? What do you say? Just say one word, and I’ll tell you, I..."

Walking quietly beside Wei’en, Tina could hear nothing but a constant buzzing, and her view of the dim, shadowy world was obstructed by a flitting black shape that wouldn’t stay still.

She glanced back at the clown, and with a flick of her fingers, summoned several shadow threads that twisted into dark serpents and shot out to wrap tightly around his body.

"Tina finds him noisy."

"Hey?! Little White Fur, what are you doing? Let me go!!"

Wei’en pulled Tina along by the hand, not slowing his pace. With an expressionless face, she kept a finger crooked, dragging the clown across the surface of the sea with the thread that was invisible in the real world.

"Bastards, you’re both bastards, bas—Mph?! Mmmph..."

Wei’en paid no mind to the love-hate dynamic between Tina and the clown. He knew the clown’s personality; when he wanted to tell you something, he would spit it out even if you didn’t ask. When he didn’t want to, there was no point in asking.

A short while later, he stopped in front of the carriage, examining the patterns and the Pyramids on its frame.

JINGLE JINGLE JINGLE...

As the sea breeze blew, the Pyramids knocked against each other, creating a crisp, jingling sound. Their silver-white bodies cast brilliant, colorful reflections upon the black carriage under the crimson glow, making the dark red bloodstains seem to flow even faster.

Wei’en frowned as he looked at the carriage.

Although the Grave Digger hadn’t explained the specific purpose of these objects, he suspected the arrival of the Master of True Slaughter had to be connected to these Pyramids.

What he didn’t understand was what could be inside the black carriage that would require the Pyramids to be hung along its top edge.

’And the patterns on the carriage... what purpose did those strange, blood-colored markings serve?’

’Could it be the Deep Sea Giant Beast that Cres had speculated about?’

After thinking for a few seconds, Wei’en turned to Arnold Lilith Leonard, who was sitting cross-legged on the surface of the sea, his broken clown mask failing to conceal his sullen expression. Wei’en asked,

"Mr. Leonard, do you know what’s inside this?"

"Mmmph!"

Arnold’s mouth seemed to be gagged by something, as he could only make muffled noises. He shook his head back and forth, his scarlet eyes glaring viciously at Wei’en.

"Tina." Seeing him in this state, Wei’en patted the white-haired girl’s head and gestured for her to untie him. "Let him go for now. We’ll get him next time."

Arnold’s eyes widened. "Mmph? Mmmph..." ’Next time? There’s a fucking next time?’

Tina glanced at the ferocious-looking clown, then at Wei’en’s calm expression, and nodded. "Tina will release him. Next time."

"No problem. Your happiness is what’s most important."

"Mmmph..."

The clown whimpered a few times. Sensing that the Calamity Origin threads were no longer binding him, he leaped to his feet, flailing his arms and shouting in fury, "You people! You’ve gone too far!"

"You’re all nice and sweet when you need me, but the moment you don’t, you torture me? Huh?!"

"Tina finds him noisy."

"Yes, he is a bit noisy," Wei’en agreed. He glanced at the clown, then turned back to the black carriage and asked airily, "Mr. Leonard, you don’t want to be tied up again, do you?"

"You... I... Fuck!"

Arnold was left speechless. He was suddenly reminded of those terrifying days of being dominated by his sister. ’How did these two manage to be the exact same kind of bastard?’

’If it were just Wei’en, I could summon terrifying Abyssal Creatures to torture him. But with Little White Fur in the picture... this is just too damn much!’

After a moment of consideration, Arnold could only mutter sullenly, "What do you want to ask?"

’Hmph, next time I’ll definitely have the Great Demon Commander show up and pummel him to death!’

"What’s inside this carriage? A Deep Sea Giant Beast? A forbidden item? Or something important to the Dusk Sect?"

"How would I know? I didn’t even get a chance before you two..."

Arnold was still indignant, but after speaking, he moved closer to the carriage to examine the blood-streaked patterns on its side.

Wei’en stepped aside to give him a better look.

"Hmm, this looks familiar. It should be an Alchemy Array... No, that’s not quite right. It’s an Alchemy Array, but it’s missing its core. These patterns..."

Arnold circled the carriage a few times, even landing a few punches on the restless steeds at the front. His scarlet eyes grew brighter and brighter as he clicked his tongue in amazement.

"I’ve got it! This is a Sealing Array!"

"A seal?"

"Yes, but I need to take another look to see what kind of seal it is," Arnold said. He hopped over to where the Grave Digger had been, looked back and forth, then leaped onto the carriage roof to look down. A flicker of surprise showed in his eyes.

"I never thought I’d see a Sealing Array like this in this era."

Seeing his expressive reaction, Wei’en grew curious. "Is there a problem?"

"There’s nothing wrong with the seal, but that’s exactly what proves that something incredible is sealed inside." Arnold stepped back to Wei’en’s side, stroking his chin in thought for a few seconds. "If I’m not mistaken, there’s a forbidden item in there."
