Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters
Chapter 479 - 199: Realm of Death
"Does that include the ones I killed before?"
Pavla: "..."
Her voice died in her throat as if she were being choked. She stared at Wei’en with wide eyes, unable to believe he would say something so vicious at a time like this.
’That bastard... uh... Great Dawn, please forgive my slip of the tongue... It’s just that this Evil Mage is too... too evil!’
Seeing her expression, Wei’en knew his prank had landed. His wicked sense of humor thoroughly satisfied, he couldn’t help but say with a grin, "I hope you were just basking in the Dawn Radiance just now, and not trying to save this ’lost little lamb’ of yours."
Pavla turned her head away. "Wh-who wants to save you? If the Great Dawn’s gaze hadn’t been absent, you... you would have been purified by Him that night!"
"Oh? I certainly hope so..."
Wei’en walked past her and picked up a piece of fish belly with his bare hands, popping it into his mouth. "Tastes pretty good, but it would be perfect if it were spicier."
After speaking, he ignored Pavla’s fiery glare and turned to walk toward the workshop.
Pavla watched his retreating back, a stream of curses running through her mind.
’Oh, Great Dawn, your devout believer, Pavla Sepulda, begs you to send down divine punishment and strike this abominable Wizard... ’
’This despicable Evil Mage is just too, too despicable!’
Wei’en didn’t know what Pavla was thinking, but he could guess it wasn’t anything good.
After reaching the work area, he pushed open the door to Shawa’s workshop and glanced inside.
"Are you okay?"
When the white-haired girl saw Wei’en enter, she pushed off from her toes, hung from his neck, and turned back to point at Miss Zombie, saying, "Tina. Shawa. Injured."
"Oh?"
Wei’en sized up Shawa. He saw that some of the skin on her body looked like it had been burned by fire, leaving behind melted traces. He frowned.
"I’m fine." Shawa stood in a corner of the workshop, hiding the badly damaged drill press behind her. She hung her head, not daring to look up.
"Let’s treat your injuries first." Wei’en wasn’t concerned about the loss of materials and equipment. He casually pulled a captain-level Undead Creature from his storage and tossed it on the ground. "I remember you saying that devouring your own kind is the best way to increase your power. Will this do?"
Miss Zombie glanced at it and gave a stiff nod. "It will."
"How many do you need?"
"T-ten of these." Shawa looked at the zombie, its eyes shut tight, and said in a stiff tone, "I can advance."
"Advance?"
"Advance to Department Head-level!"
"Can you keep advancing indefinitely?"
Miss Zombie quickly shook her head. "I need some time to get accustomed to it before I can advance again."
Wei’en mulled it over for a few seconds, then pulled all the captain-level and department head-level Undead Creatures he had previously purchased from his Space Ring, piling them on the floor. "These are all for you. I’ve also prepared some Director-level Undead Creatures for you. I’ll give them to you once you’ve grown accustomed to your department head-level power."
Shawa raised her head and looked directly at Wei’en. The eye that had been replaced with a mechanical gear spun rapidly a few times. "Thank you, Wei’en."
"Don’t mention it. You can power up here. I’m going to take Tina to eat."
Wei’en double-checked that the Undead Creatures showed no signs of waking up, then backed out with Tina in his arms, leaving Miss Zombie alone in the workshop to devour the other undead.
"Tina, eat, food."
"Hm? Hmm?"
Wei’en looked at the white-haired girl in his arms. Her aura...
"Is this how she talks? How’s my impression, young Mr. Wizard?"
"Tina" raised her head. A chilling, crimson light shone from her empty eyes. Her mouth stretched wide, revealing a dark and terrifying smiling face.
’Leonard...?’
