Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 389 - 390: A Terrifying Privilege
Chapter 389: Chapter 390: A Terrifying Privilege
In the Barbaric Universe World, Andre stared at the rapidly closing spatial channel, his heart burning with anxiety.
If the spatial channel closed, he would need to force it open again.
Although the channel had been left behind by the Moon God Giant Eagle and its companions, which saved him a great deal of effort.
But opening a spatial channel that passed through a Level 6 World was still an incredibly draining task for the current Andre.
Although this expenditure was replenished in moments by the Power of World Origin, he had yet to fully master the Power of Space.
A lack of mastery meant that accidents could happen, and accidents meant his own safety could not be guaranteed.
’I wonder if he succeeded!’
Andre stared nervously at the spatial channel above his head.
Soon, a silver-white light shot through the spatial channel, and Andre knew he had succeeded.
The silver-white light slowly dissipated, revealing a figure before Andre, who was currently in his Giant form.
"Andre."
As the light faded, the figure of Antaromen appeared before Andre.
"How did you get in?"
Andre blinked upon seeing Antaromen and immediately asked his question.
"With this spatial channel here, of course I could enter. But due to the suppression from the World’s Will, I could only send in a Divine Split suppressed to a Level 3 Wizard’s strength. You, on the other hand... your treatment is quite something else!"
Antaromen gazed at the Power of World Origin enveloping Andre, and saliva uncontrollably dripped from the corner of his mouth.
An infusion of the Power of World Origin, and not just drop by drop, but a torrent like a great river.
’This kind of treatment is just incredible.’
"Don’t even mention it. This Power of World Origin is the very reason I can’t get out."
Andre looked at Antaroma and, feeling the urge to joke, spoke quickly to dispel Antaromen’s thoughts.
"If anyone else were in your position, they would kill to stay in there for tens of thousands of years before even thinking of coming out."
"But look at you. How long has it been, and you already want out?"
Antaromen stared at Andre, his face a mask of envy and jealousy.
"Please, stop joking. I can barely suppress it anymore. The forced infusion of the Power of World Origin has already pushed me to the absolute limit of a Level 3 Wizard."
"I’m on the verge of breaking through at any moment, but I’m not prepared for it at all."
Andre looked at Antaromen helplessly, explaining his predicament.
"I see! No wonder you’re so desperate."
"Becoming a Morning Star Wizard is the most important event in any Wizard’s life, even more crucial than advancing from a Wizard Apprentice to an Official Wizard."
Antaromen looked at Andre and nodded, his expression turning serious.
He then tossed a Ring to Andre. Andre caught the Ring, and at the same time, his body began to shrink.
After shrinking back to his normal size, Andre performed a Witchcraft spell to protect the area in front of him, then extended a sliver of his Spiritual Power into the Ring and poured out all the books stored inside.
At that moment, Antaromen took out a bottle, preparing to collect some of the Power of World Origin from the Barbaric Universe World.
But just as Antaromen approached the Power of World Origin, the immense force emanating from it directly shattered the bottle, a Witchcraft Artifact, in his hand.
"Wait, what?"
Antaromen stared at the shattered bottle in utter astonishment.
Because his Divine Split had to suppress its Realm, the Witchcraft Artifact he had prepared for it was only a Quasi-Morningstar Lich.
But even as a Quasi-Morning Star Witchcraft Artifact, its durability was no less than that of a typical Morning Star Witchcraft Artifact.
Logically, it should have been more than enough to contain some Power of World Origin.
But now, not only had he failed to collect a single drop, but the Witchcraft Artifact had also been destroyed.
’Just how immense is this force!’
Antaromen took a deep breath and walked toward Andre. The moment he stepped into the Power of World Origin, his body suddenly felt heavy, and he collapsed to the ground before he could even react.
"This pressure is no different from that of a Morning Star’s field."
Antaromen struggled back to his feet and continued walking toward Andre.
When he reached Andre’s side, he was shocked to discover that the pressure around Andre was already approaching the Moonlight level.
"You can move so freely under this pressure. The title ’monster’ truly suits you."
Antaromen grimaced at Andre. Because his Realm was suppressed, this Divine Split could barely fight on par with a Morning Star Wizard.
Naturally, the strength of this Divine Split was limited.
What Antaromen didn’t know, however, was that because the Power of World Origin was continuously pouring into Andre’s body, the pressure Andre actually experienced was less than what he himself was enduring.
Meanwhile, Andre was flipping through the books before him, beginning to absorb the knowledge within.
At the same time, Andre’s head shook, and three new heads suddenly sprouted from his neck.
Then, Andre’s torso became four-sided, and six new arms grew out.
Just like that, one Andre became four, and his reading Speed increased dramatically.
’Here he goes again.’
Seeing Andre’s transformation, Antaromen already knew what he was about to do next.
Sure enough, just as he expected, with a motion from Andre, a series of clones appeared beside him.
But these clones only existed for a moment before they were crushed and disintegrated by the immense pressure of the Power of World Origin.
There was nothing Andre could do about it; he could only use his main body to read the books.
Soon, Andre finished reading all the books.
Andre took a deep breath and looked at the Crystal Stones in the chest. Compared to the knowledge recorded in the books, the knowledge contained within the Crystal Stones was far greater.
Andre opened the chest, continuously pressing the Crystal Stones to his forehead to absorb the knowledge within.
As he did this, the amount of Truth accumulated in his System began to climb rapidly, soon reaching 2,800%.
But Andre was still not satisfied with this number and continued to absorb knowledge relentlessly.
Soon, the amount of Truth accumulated in his System surpassed 3,000%.
When the Truth accumulated in the System reached 3,000%, Andre received a message from the System.
It informed him that the System was about to undergo a transformation to accommodate even more Truth.
’Is this the System’s current limit?’
’In other words, after I become a Morning Star Wizard, the System will undergo a transformation. Only after that transformation is complete will it be able to hold more Truth.’
Andre blinked, instantly understanding the meaning of the message.
’In that case, there’s nothing more to be said. Time to create the Demon Pattern!’
