Chapter 353 -354: Moving a World

“Hmm…”

Andre fell silent, listening to the Eight Ancestors’ words.

He knew exactly what this meant, of course.

If he didn’t stay with the family, he would not enjoy its protection.

This was true even though he walked the Path of Chaos—a path that, since the dawn of the Endless Star Realm, only he had ever successfully tread.

‘Is the Path of Chaos truly that rare? Yes, it is. I’m the only one. But is it really *that* indispensable?’

‘Is it truly so important to the Tower of Black Stone?’

‘I doubt it. For all these years, not a single person in the Endless Star Realm has succeeded on the Path of Chaos, yet the Tower of Black Stone has been doing just fine.’

‘Besides, now that there’s me, the first one, who’s to say there won’t be a second, a third, or even more?’

‘As one of the top powers in the Wizard World, the Tower of Black Stone can afford to wait.’

The Tower of Black Stone has no major enemies in the Endless Star Realm, nor is there any entity capable of destroying it in an instant.

‘That being the case, they can just wait!’

‘Wait for the next person who can walk the Path of Chaos to appear. Wouldn’t that solve everything?’

So, this whole conversation, while not an overt threat, carried a clear underlying message: the decision of whether or not he would remain in the family was in the family’s hands, not his.

‘Back when Angelson, the researcher responsible for carrying out the Chaos Divine Kingdom project, was killed, did the family undergo any significant changes?’

‘No. If he hadn’t accidentally awakened Angelson’s Bloodline and broken the Chain of Hatred on his body…’

‘…who knows how long it would have been before the Tower of Black Stone reactivated that project!’

From this, it was clear that the Tower of Black Stone had many projects like the Chaos Divine Kingdom; it was by no means the only one.

After all, the Tower of Black Stone was one of the top powers in the Wizard World. And considering what the Ancestor of the Life Giant Dragon had said before…

…the family’s great ancestor, Andeta, had lived for ten billion standard Star Realm years.

‘Ten billion years… In such a vast expanse of time, how many plans had Andeta conceived, and for how many had he selected someone to begin experimenting?’

No one could say for sure, except for Andeta himself.

Therefore, while Andre seemed important to the family, in reality, he wasn’t *that* important.

If the Chaos Divine Kingdom was the family’s only plan to escape the Endless Star Realm, then Andre would indeed be crucial.

But over the course of ten billion years, who knew how many such plans Andeta had set in motion?

No one knew. Thus, Andre’s importance to the family was significantly diminished.

Right now, the reason the family valued Andre was because he walked the Path of Chaos.

If the path he walked could be mass-replicated, his importance within the family would increase immensely.

If it couldn’t be replicated, then he wasn’t that important to the family.

A vast family like the Tower of Black Stone would never entrust its entire fate to a single individual—not even to the great ancestor, Andeta.

It would inevitably branch out, forming different family divisions, allowing numerous Truth Great Wizards to join forces and control the family’s destiny.

A one-man rule was impossible. Perhaps, in the family’s early days or during a period of decline, if a single person emerged to lead the family to prosperity, they might have been allowed to rule alone.

Because during such a time, a dictatorship could help the family grow.

But now, with the Tower of Black Stone thriving, one-man rule would never be allowed to emerge.

“So, what are your thoughts?” the Overlord asked Andre again.

“Are my thoughts really that important in the eyes of the family’s elders?”

The Eight Ancestors looked at Andre and couldn’t help but chuckle twice.

“The family will arrange everything for you from now on. That includes the academy you were attending. As of now, you will be leaving it.”

The Eight Ancestors said after another awkward chuckle.

“Leaving the academy?”

Andre blinked, not quite understanding what the Eight Ancestors meant.

“You are a member of the family now. Naturally, you no longer need to be part of such a small academy.”

The Eight Ancestors said this as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

“Then what about my world?”

Andre blinked, looking at the Eight Ancestors inquisitively.

“Your world?” The Eight Ancestors was taken aback.

“During a Wizard expedition launched by the academy, I upgraded one of my Battle Pets from a Mixed-blood Dragon Beast to a Pure-blooded Giant Dragon. I chose the Bloodline of the Life Giant Dragon, which is how I was discovered by the Ancestor of the Life Giant Dragon.”

“Before that, I unexpectedly obtained the position of Child of the World for a certain world.”

“Am I supposed to just give up that position now that I’ve joined the family?”

Andre’s rapid-fire questions left the Eight Ancestors stunned for a moment.

“I knew everything you said at first, but I truly didn’t know about that last part. To think you’ve already acquired a world.”

The Eight Ancestors looked at Andre and nodded in satisfaction.

Andre was truly worthy of the Tower of Black Stone’s Bloodline. His methods were impressive; a mere Level 3 Wizard had already become a Child of the World.

“What Level is your world? If it’s a Level 3 World, I can move it back here for you right now, and it will become a world under the family’s banner,” the Eight Ancestors asked Ande.

“That world… is a Level 5 World. It just recently advanced from a Level 4 World.”

Andre sighed before replying.

“A Level 5 World? A Level 5 World acknowledged you?”

The Eight Ancestors’ eyes went wide!

“Are cases like this rare?”

Andre asked, seeing the Eight Ancestors’ astonished expression.

“Cases like this are indeed quite rare. Normally, for a person to be chosen as a Child of the World, their Level must be roughly the same as the world’s, or even one Level higher.”

The Eight Ancestors said, looking at Andre seriously.

“Oh!” Andre nodded.

“Alright then. You stay here and continue your research. I’ll go find someone to move that world back here!”

“You can move a Level 5 World back here?”

This time, it was Andre’s turn for his eyes to go wide.

Moving a world required a great many conditions to be met.

The most important of these was the Power of the one leading the effort.

To move a Level 5 World, the leader would have to be, at the very least, a Great Wizard at the Red Sun Limit. It might even require a Truth Great Wizard to accomplish such a feat.

“If we couldn’t move them, then where do you think all those worlds you saw when Solomon brought you back came from?”

“Surely you don’t think the great ancestor just happened to discover such a massive World Group on his own?”

As the Eight Ancestors spoke, his figure vanished from before Andre’s eyes.
