“From the moment civilization first appeared in the Endless Star Realm, many people have tried to uncover what it was like at the very beginning.”

“Some believe the Endless Star Realm was originally a colossal mass of Magic Power. This Magic Power began to disperse and collide, creating various Elements that ultimately formed a world. This is what’s famously known as the Magic Power Origin Theory.”

“Others believe that the primordial Endless Star Realm contained not just Magic Power, but also all sorts of matter. They argued that, otherwise, how long would it have taken for Magic Power alone to evolve and give rise to so many worlds?”

“This became known as the Dual Origin Theory, positing the existence of both matter and Magic Power.”

“These two were among the earliest theories about the Endless Star Realm.”

“But as people’s command of Power grew, so did the scale of the destruction they could cause.”

“Gradually, they began to seek out the source that sustained this Power.”

“Through this search, people discovered Law and Rules—what we refer to as the Power of Truth.”

“And so, the Law Origin Theory and the Rules Origin Theory emerged!”

“But Law and Rules couldn’t have appeared out of thin air, could they? They must have been generated by some sort of Power!”

“So, the investigation into the origin of Law and Rules began anew. Through their research, people discovered a connection between Law, Rules, and the worlds themselves.”

“This gave rise to the Multi-World Theory.”

“However, further research revealed that worlds are formed when vast quantities of matter and Magic Power converge and are created through some specific form or method.”

“This brought everything back to square one.”

“In the course of this research, some gave up, while others persevered.”

“Eventually, they proposed several new theories. One was the Explosion Theory.”

“According to this theory, the Endless Star Realm was created by the explosion of an immense mass of Magic Power and matter—a mass so vast its size and scope were immeasurable.”

“But as soon as this hypothesis appeared, it immediately drew criticism from others.”

“They argued that if the Endless Star Realm had been created according to this theory,”

“then the Endless Star Realm ought to have a boundary.”

“Yet no one in the Endless Star Realm has ever found where its boundary lies.”

“Once, a group of powerful experts from ancient times sought to verify this Explosion Theory. They gathered immense resources, and using a single world as their starting point, they set out in all directions to find the boundary of the Endless Star Realm.”

“But no matter how far these experts went, they could not find the boundary.”

“If they couldn’t even find a boundary, how could anyone be certain the Endless Star Realm was born from an explosion?”

“If it truly was born from an explosion, what conditions could have caused an explosion of that magnitude, one capable of giving birth to so many worlds?”

“This question arose because an explosion of such a scale would produce incredibly powerful shockwaves.”

“How long would it take for those shockwaves to subside?”

“Furthermore, after the shockwaves subsided, the principles of blast mechanics suggest that a massive void should exist at the very center of the Endless Star Realm—the point where the explosion began.”

“But no such massive void has ever been found in the Endless Star Realm. Thus, the theory was once again discredited!”

“After the Explosion Theory was discredited, people resumed their search.”

“During this process, a new thought occurred: if the Endless Star Realm was indeed born from an indescribably vast mixture of Magic Power and matter…”

“…then where did all that Magic Power and matter come from?”

“People began to investigate this new question.”

“To research this, people began trying to master the Power of Time and the Power of Space.”

“They believed that only these two Powers offered the easiest path to uncovering the truth of what existed before the Endless Star Realm’s birth.”

“As people’s mastery over the Power of Space and the Power of Time deepened, they eventually used the Power of Time to witness the state of existence before the Endless Star Realm was born.”

“It was a gray, hazy expanse. There was no Magic Power, no matter—only swirling clouds of gray mist.”

“‘Mist’ was simply the term people forced upon this substance, for lack of a better word!”

“Later, after endless discussion and research among scholars, this phenomenon was finally named Chaos.”

“Chaos was the origin of the Endless Star Realm—the source of everything.”

“Once this was established, people began trying to understand what this ‘Chaos’ truly was. Where did it come from? What was it made of? What could it be used for? And how could one master it?”

“As these questions were raised one by one, people began an unending study of Chaos.”

“But no matter how much they researched, they could never come to a clear understanding of it!”

“This was because they could only use the temporal regression of the Power of Time to *see* this so-called Chaos; they couldn’t actually *reach* it.”

“Then, some decided to use the Power of Space to try and reach Chaos to study it firsthand.”

“After tireless efforts, a few individuals succeeded in transporting themselves into Chaos.”

“However, once they entered Chaos, they didn’t manage to collect a sample as they had hoped. Instead, their entire beings were assimilated by Chaos.”

“After that, few dared to try reaching Chaos using the Power of Space, because any object or living being that arrived in Chaos would be assimilated.”

“If they couldn’t make contact with Chaos, they couldn’t study its structure or how it was formed.”

“So, they came up with another plan.”

“Since Chaos could transform into the Endless Star Realm, and worlds could in turn be born within the Star Realm…”

“…then, could we perhaps gather all the matter within the Star Realm, use some method to fuse and transform it, and ultimately revert it to a unified state—to create Chaos?”

“With this idea in mind, a massive, sweeping movement to study Chaos began throughout the Endless Star Realm.”

“But without exception, they all failed!”

Andeta paused here, looking at Andre.

“They all failed? How is that possible?”

Andre blinked, finding it hard to believe.

“It would be more accurate to say not that they failed, but that the will of the Endless Star Realm itself refused to let Chaos appear.”

“Even when someone did succeed in recreating Chaos within the Endless Star Realm, the Chaos would dissipate the very instant it appeared. Over time, Chaos became a taboo.”

As Andeta said this, a flicker of doubt crossed his eyes. ‘The will of the Endless Star Realm doesn’t allow Chaos to appear in the Star Realm… so how did Andre manage to keep Chaos within his own body?’
