Wizard: Grinding to Lord of Truth
Chapter 240 - 242: Primordial Lightning
Chapter 240: Chapter 242: Primordial Lightning
Under Red-haired Klein’s watchful gaze, the mass of gray mist grew larger and larger until it finally swallowed the Primordial Lightning surrounding the War Mother Ship.
After devouring the Primordial Lightning, the gray mist shuddered as if letting out a satisfied burp. Then, it began to solidify, eventually morphing into Andre’s body.
"Ugh... ugh..." Andre returned to the deck of the War Mother Ship, his eyes vacant. Once there, his body reverted to its original size.
At this point, Andre’s consciousness had not yet returned, but his body, acting on instinct, kept burping.
After a long while, Andre finally shook his head and came to his senses.
Now lucid, Andre looked at himself. ’It was as if I just had a dream... a dream where I became part of that Primordial Lightning.’
"What in the world just happened?" Andre clenched his fist, and lightning instantly crackled to life in his palm.
Faced with this situation, Andre had no choice but to summon the System to check his status.

’It’s been several months since I broke through to Level 2 Wizard, and my stats have all increased by a third.’
Andre looked at his current stats and nodded. Then, he noticed Primordial Lightning listed under his Talents.
’That wasn’t there before. Why did it suddenly appear now?’
With this thought, Andre turned and looked back, only to discover that the lightning he had just seen had vanished.
Although some new lightning was beginning to form, it was incredibly weak compared to the previous bolts.
’Did the lightning disappear because of me?’
Andre instantly made the connection: the lightning had disappeared because of him. And he was right.
’What kind of change happened in my body to give me an ability like this?’
As Andre pondered this, the only clue he had was the terrifyingly corrosive nature of his Chaos Magic Power.
But the corrosive nature of his Chaos Magic Power was to convert the outside world into more Chaos Magic Power, not simply devour it.
’Could it be that after I became a Level 2 Wizard, new Talents started developing inside me? Maybe they just aren’t fully formed yet, which is why I don’t know about them and the System can’t detect them either?’
Andre thought it over and over, but this was the only explanation he could come up with.
Meanwhile, in the Central Control Room, Red-haired Klein watched the lightning flashing in Andre’s hand, his features contorting in disbelief.
This scene unfolding before him was the most outrageous thing he had ever witnessed.
’Is the path of Chaos Truth really this insane?’
’It can even simulate Primordial Lightning?’
Red-haired Klein was utterly astonished by the path of Chaos Truth.
Primordial Lightning was so named because it was derived from the Power of World Origin.
Otherwise, it could only be seen in scenarios like worlds shattering or space collapsing.
And now, Andre could actually create Primordial Lightning. Wasn’t that the same as saying Andre was a world unto himself?
But the problem was, Andre wasn’t a world, so how could he create Primordial Lightning?
Although the power of the Primordial Lightning in Andre’s hand was countless times weaker than that derived from the Power of World Origin, its essence was the same.
On this point, Red-haired Klein was certain he wasn’t mistaken.
’What in the world is going on?’
Red-haired Klein suddenly began to doubt his own path.
His path was History. Because of it, he knew many secrets of the past, yet never had he seen anything like this.
He sucked in a sharp breath and then exhaled slowly.
After wracking his brain and coming up with nothing, Red-haired Klein could only chalk it up to the path of Chaos Truth.
’No wonder some Truth Great Wizards are researching this path. Just seeing what’s manifesting from Andre’s body shows how powerful it is.’
Red-haired Klein looked at the bewildered Andre and shook his head.
’It’s only because Andre himself is content with a tedious life. If he were willing to go out on adventures and explore Secret Realms, I’m sure even more unique traits would manifest.’
’Perhaps the decision to send Andre to the Cosmic Sea World was the right one.’
’Before this, Andre’s role at the academy and his image in everyone’s memory was that of an Alchemist.’
’And now that Andre has come to an Otherworld, this kind of change has occurred within him.’
’If I have him visit a few more Otherworlds, who knows what other changes will occur.’
Red-haired Klein began to plan Andre’s next assignments to other worlds.
Andre, unaware of Red-haired Klein’s arrangements for him, stared at the lightning in his hand for a while.
Then he used the Teleportation Array to leave the War Mother Ship and appeared on the ground below.
With a casual wave of his hand, a bolt of golden lightning shot out from his palm, instantly causing the small hill before him to collapse.
’Is the combination of Divine Punishment and Primordial Lightning this powerful? A casual strike is almost as strong as a Level 2 Witchcraft!’
Andre assessed the power he had just expended and surveyed the scene before him.
’I only used ten percent of my power to cause this much destruction. What would happen if I went all out?’
Thinking this, Andre flew up from his spot, searching the air for a new target.
Soon, a small mountain range came into view.
Andre flew over, and after confirming that the mountains were made of granite, he began his experiment.
As a gray mist appeared beside him, a bolt of golden lightning instantly erupted from his body, piercing straight through the small mountain range before him.
