"What powerful Talent Witchcraft!"

At this moment, the Demon Pattern Disc in Andre's eyes was spinning ceaselessly.

When he saw the lead Giant Elephant completely erase all traces of the Giant Elephant Race, Andre's pupils instantly shrank to pinpricks.

It was a good thing he and Karina had been watching the Giant Elephant Race's movements from the mountain range. Otherwise, they would have been unable to find the Giant Elephant Tomb's exact location, even if they got close to it.

"Can we go over now?" Karina urged, looking at Andre.

Karina was already impatient to get her hands on the contents of the Giant Elephant Tomb.

Just one stolen corpse from such a powerful Giant Elephant Race would be worth a fortune.

"If you go now, you'll probably be caught by an ambushing Giant Elephant and trampled to death."

Andre shook his head and pointed forward for Karina to see.

"What are you talking about?" Karina didn't quite understand Andre, but she looked in the direction he was pointing. She couldn't see anything, though.

"Look closer. What do you see?" Andre pointed again for Karina.

She saw that even after the Giant Elephants that had erased the tracks had left, the jungle was still trembling slightly.

"Those are the guards they left behind to protect the tomb. They're really cautious."

At this moment, Andre's eyes were filled with deep astonishment.

Before coming here, he had never imagined that this Giant Elephant Race would actually leave guards behind to protect their tomb.

"HISS... You're right. Don't tell me these few guards are just going to wait here forever?"

Karina grew anxious. If these guards stayed here indefinitely, she and Andre wouldn't have any chance at all.

"Probably not. The Giant Elephants left guards to see if any Hunters would try to enter the tomb after they left."

"Some Hunters must have tried this before, which is why this Giant Elephant Race is doing it now."

'Can't beat a living Giant Elephant, but you can't beat a dead one? These Hunters are remarkably clever.'

Andre looked at Karina and shook his head, signaling for her to wait a while longer.

"What kind of Magical Beast would be so bold as to challenge the dominant Giant Elephant Race?"

Listening to Andre, Karina got goosebumps all over.

"That, I don't know. However, elephant-type magical beasts have always been social creatures. It's etched into their genes."

"Barring any accidents, once these guards complete their task, they will follow the tracks left by their race to catch up with the herd. They won't return to their ancestral tomb until two years later, when new Giant Elephant calves are born."

As Andre watched the Giant Elephants ambushing in the jungle, he mentally reviewed the types of Magical Beasts they had discovered while surveying the world.

According to this information, the only creature on land capable of rivaling these Giant Elephants was the Three-Headed Ferocious Lion discovered by Jessica.

But the main population of Three-Headed Ferocious Lions wasn't on the Giant Elephant Plain; they were on another continent.

The Three-Headed Ferocious Lions left on the Giant Elephant Plain were nowhere near strong enough to challenge the Giant Elephant Race, especially since the race possessed terrifying power, with members at the level of Level 3 Magical Beasts.

While a Three-Headed Ferocious Lion could certainly match a Giant Elephant, successfully surrounding and killing one of such immense size would require five, or perhaps even more, lions.

'Could it be... that a pride of Three-Headed Ferocious Lions crossed the ocean to the continent of the Giant Elephant Plain? How is that possible?'

'The number of Sea Beasts in the ocean is far greater than the number of Magical Beasts on land, and powerful ones are not in short supply.'

'If a Three-Headed Ferocious Lion were to fall into the sea, it wouldn't find a chance to wander the earth and drift to another continent. Instead, it would be met by the countless gaping maws hidden in the ocean depths.'

'But if it isn't the Three-Headed Ferocious Lions, then what kind of race would dare to covet the Giant Elephant Race's tomb?'

Andre racked his brain, but search as he might, he couldn't think of any Magical Beast other than the Three-Headed Ferocious Lion that could rival the Giant Elephant Race.

But this information was limited to the land; they had never cataloged the Sea Beasts in the ocean before.

This was because the conditions in the sea were unpredictable, and the powerful Magical Beasts were innumerable.

Therefore, they had always relied on the Star Realm Battleship, flying in the sky to survey the situation on land.

「Two days later」

Karina and Andre's patience was wearing thin.

A little over an hour later, Andre's brow furrowed. He opened his eyes, got up, and looked out the window.

"Something's not right. It's too quiet. The jungle is too quiet."

In the other safe house, Karina heard Andre and immediately asked about it.

"Don't you think it's exceptionally quiet in the jungle right now?"

Andre pointed toward the jungle in front of the mountain range.

Just then, Karina came over to Andre's side through the door connecting the two safe houses and looked in the direction he was pointing.

"It really is quiet. The jungle definitely wasn't like this two days ago."

Karina also sensed that something was wrong.

"Although the Giant Elephant Race left guards in the jungle, they wouldn't disturb the other Magical Beasts and Wild Beasts there."

"It seems the Magical Beasts that can challenge the Giant Elephant Race have finally shown up."

Andre narrowed his eyes, looking out the window.

He activated his Eye of Truth, continuously scanning the outside.

When he activated the Eye of Truth, he discovered several yellow lines moving ceaselessly deep within the earth, as if the ground were like water to them.

"This phenomenon... Snake-type Magical Beasts," Andre mused, staring deep underground. "A snake swallowing an elephant?" The words had barely left his lips when the earth suddenly shattered. Countless chunks of dirt and Stone flew into the air, kicking up clouds of dust.

Then, from within the smoke, a two-headed giant python, the likes of which he had never seen before, burst out of the ground and lunged straight for the Giant Elephant Tomb.

As the earth shattered, the Giant Elephants in the jungle, which had been lying on the ground quietly eating, all rose to their feet. They raised their trunks, let out a loud trumpet, then lowered their heads and began to run, their Speed ever increasing. At the same time, they raised the four tusks jutting from their mouths high, aiming straight for the two-headed giant python's vital point.

The moment the Giant Elephants charged, the two-headed giant python immediately stopped. It coiled its body and watched the approaching Giant Elephants, hissing continuously and baring its fangs, trying to frighten them into retreating.

But the Giant Elephants were fearless. They moved faster and faster, a blue light flashing on their Ivory.
