Chapter 118: Chapter 112: Potential Legendary, Nationwide Shock

Catherine’s bedroom.

The moment Catherine closed the bedroom door, the exhausted and weak expression on Roy’s face vanished without a trace.

There were no outsiders now. There was no need to keep up the act.

"Are you really okay?"

Catherine asked Roy.

Roy knew why she was asking.

His cheeks, hands, hair, and clothes were all stained with a large amount of blood.

Although the blood wasn’t his—it belonged to the five Black Iron Great Knights—he certainly looked terrible.

"Of course I’m fine."

"Don’t worry, none of this is my blood."

"Let’s not talk about this now. I’m going to the bathroom to clean up."

With that, Roy headed for the bathroom.

Seeing him go, Catherine followed immediately without a moment’s hesitation.

Soon, they were in the bathroom.

The hot water in the bathtub had already grown cold, but Roy didn’t mind. Right in front of Catherine, he stripped off his blood-soaked clothes, stepped into the tub, and began washing the blood from his body.

Once he was in the tub, Catherine quickly came to his side, attending to him like a handmaiden as he cleaned himself.

After ten or twenty minutes in the bathroom, Roy, with a towel wrapped around his lower body, carried Catherine out.

Catherine, like him, had also taken off her Hunter’s Clothing. Her fiery, sexy body was wrapped only in a towel.

Unsurprisingly, her Hunter’s Clothing had gotten soaked while she was helping Roy.

And since it was wet, she had to take it off.

After placing Catherine on the large, soft bed, Roy wasted no time and began the night’s second game with Catherine.

Compared to the first game, Catherine’s cries were much quieter during the second.

Or rather, she was deliberately holding back, trying not to cry out too loudly.

This wasn’t at Roy’s command. She knew he was currently putting on a show of weakness for the outside world and didn’t want to ruin his plan.

Now *that* was being considerate!

The sight of Catherine forcing herself to hold back didn’t diminish the allure of their game at all. In fact, it made things even more exciting, adding a new flavor they had never experienced before.

...

「The next morning.」

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

The sudden knocking woke Roy and Catherine, who had been busy until the middle of the night before finally falling asleep.

"What is it?"

Catherine said, her face full of annoyance at being woken up.

"My lady, Baron Ice Wolf has arrived at the castle."

The Knight at the door replied swiftly.

’Tony’s here?’

The displeasure on Catherine’s face vanished instantly. "Alright, I understand," she continued.

After speaking, she turned to Roy and asked softly, "How are you going to explain things to Tony?"

"Simple. I’ll just say I used the Secret Technique, Blood Mark, last night."

"He knows Blood Mark too, so he’s aware the Secret Technique grants a massive, short-term boost to one’s physical attributes and Fighting Qi."

Roy replied unhurriedly.

"Mm-hm."

Catherine nodded. Without another word, she got out of bed, went to the wardrobe, and took out a set of Hunter’s Clothing she had prepared especially for Roy.

Even though Roy only visited her occasionally, she still kept a few sets of his clothes in her wardrobe, just in case.

First, like a maidservant, she helped Roy get dressed.

Only after Roy was fully dressed did she take out her own clothes from the wardrobe.

A woman’s set of Hunter’s Clothing, strikingly similar to the one Roy was wearing.

A matching set!

If this were Blue Star, their Hunter’s Clothing would definitely be labeled a couple’s outfit.

「A little over ten minutes later.」

Roy and Catherine arrived at the first-floor drawing room.

The moment they entered, Tony, who had been sitting on the sofa, stood up and approached them.

Before Roy could speak, Tony asked, "Are you alright?"

"It’s nothing serious. I’ll be fine after some rest."

Roy replied.

Despite his words, Tony still looked at him with a worried expression and pressed, "Did you use the Secret Technique, Blood Mark, last night?"

Roy nodded.

Although Tony hadn’t witnessed the battle himself, he could have easily guessed that Roy used Blood Mark just by asking the Knights in the castle.

"I don’t know why you didn’t seek aid from the Dark Night Knight last night, but I still think you were far too reckless."

"Your opponents were five Black Iron Great Knights, and you only just advanced to Peak Knight over a month ago."

"Even if the Dark Night Knight taught you many Secret Techniques, you’re still not a Great Knight."

Tony said with a frown.

At the crack of dawn, he had received news that Roy had fought five Black Iron Great Knights at Rock Lion Castle—one against five—and killed them all.

His first reaction to the news was that someone was playing a prank on him.

Although he thought highly of Roy, the report was simply too incredible to believe.

Just as he was debating whether to head to Rock Lion Castle himself, a Raven from Rock Lion Castle arrived at Ice Wolf Castle.

Upon discovering the news was true, he skipped breakfast and rode his Warhorse to Rock Lion Castle alone.

"Black Iron Great Knights are still human. If you strike their vital points, they die just like anyone else."

"I didn’t seek help from my teacher last night because I was confident I could kill them."

"I don’t do things I’m not confident about."

Roy looked at Tony, his expression calm.

Just as Tony was about to say more, Roy clapped him on the shoulder and said, "You rushed over here first thing in the morning. You probably haven’t had breakfast yet, have you?"
