Chapter 1484: Pick it all

The female elder released her spiritual sense.

The moment that the female elder released this spiritual sense, Lin Fan and Ye Qing Huan both felt a chill run down their spines.

Even if they already knew that this female elder was a powerful cultivator in the past and they could feel the aura that came from her, it was a completely different feeling facing her spiritual sense head on.

A smile crept onto Lin Fan’s face when he heard this.

He didn’t know what it was about the Minor World that had changed the female elder’s mind, but he knew that there were plenty of things that could have done it.

For Lin Fan, the spirit beasts of the Minor World were important assets.

Which was why he didn’t hesitate to bring in all kinds of things that would help with their development and training.

The stronger that the spirit beasts of the Minor World were, the more that it would benefit him in the long run. After all, he had control over those spirit beasts and he could use them to create a beast wave attack.

With these spirit beasts, he was the equivalent of a one man army.

So it was only natural that he would train them up to become as strong as possible.

Lin Fan was someone that took care of his people.

Though it wasn’t as if every spirit beast was taken care of inside of the Minor World since there was a need for cannon fodder. But with the size of the Minor World, it was easy to create cannon fodder by letting the spirit beasts breed with each other.

So it wasn’t as if he didn’t have spirit beasts to sacrifice.

After the female elder declared that Lin Fan had passed the trial, she didn’t seem to waste anymore time on him. It seemed like she wanted to use the short amount of time that she had left with the Ten Kings that he tamed.

She really did take them as her children with how she acted around them, but that also made them act awkwardly around her. They looked like children that were embarrassed by the love that their parents showed.

Still, they didn’t do anything to break free from her grasps which went to show that they did accept her as their parent. The time that the female elder had spent with the spirit beasts really wasn’t wasted.

"As you can tell, this place was used to breed and grow spirit beasts for the sect. But other than that, there were also spiritual elixirs that were also grown in this place."

The way that the female elder said this seemed to be implying something.

It wasn’t something that Lin Fan’s group missed.

Not to mention that they could easily figure out why the female elder would suddenly give them this clue.

Which was why Lin Fan just left the Ten Kings that he tamed here.

It wasn’t as if there was anything that would be able to break them of the bond that was formed with the Love Gauge Taming, so it wasn’t as if there was any danger in leaving them here with the female elder.

Though Lin Fan could also tell that the female elder was interested in what he had used to tame the Ten Kings in the first place. The female elder was the one that took care of all the spirit beasts in this forest, so there was no doubt that she had her method of taming spirit beasts as well.

It would also pique their interest since they wanted to see just what kind of technique Lin Fan used.

But Lin Fan wasn’t worried since he knew that it wouldn’t be easy for anyone to see through this method. It was a method that had been granted to him by a god, which meant that it was equivalent to an immortal technique.

Taking Ye Qing Huan and Xiao Mu out, they could already sense the traces of spiritual sense coming from the hut. The female elder just didn’t hold back at all as she released that spiritual energy as soon as they left.

Seeing this, Lin Fan could only shake his head with a faint smile while still agreeing to the challenge. Only it wasn’t as if he was planning on taking this challenge seriously.

Though Xiao Mu was much older than any normal kid, it had only just developed self consciousness and could be considered a kid mentally. Fighting with a kid was a losing battle since they would never admit defeat.

Which was why Lin Fan was just going to let Xiao Mu win this competition.

If he had taken it seriously, then it would have been easy for him to win this competition.

After all, what they were competing in was who would be able to gather the most valuable things from this forest. Xiao Mu was using the database of knowledge that it possessed to its greatest strength.

Of course, Lin Fan wasn’t at a disadvantage since he had the Appraisal Eyes.

In fact, Lin Fan was in an even better position because what he possessed was the Appraisal Eyes.

Lin Fan had no idea what database the Appraisal Eyes drew on, but he knew that it wouldn’t be worse than the Dao Sect’s database. Most likely, it was even better because it was a special database that seemed to contain the very nature of this world.

Still, Lin Fan let Xiao Mu find all of the valuable things.

What he did was go around and pick up anything that seemed like it had any value at all.

He wasn’t doing this because he had something that he was going to do with these things. Instead, he was tossing them all into the portal to the Minor World since he wanted to fill the Minor World with these things.

The one problem that Lin Fan had was that he had never been able to fill the Minor World with special elixirs.

Even if the elixirs that he threw in could be considered normal elixirs when compared to the others that were in this forest, they were still considered rare in the outside world.

These were things that he wanted to grow in the Minor World for the future.

Once Xiao Mu came back, it had a triumphant look on its face as it showed off all the things that it had gathered.

Lin Fan had to admit that these things were quite special and that Xiao Mu was quite knowledgeable to be able to find all of these things.

But he was surprised when Xiao Mu offered them all to him.

"I can’t use it anyway, so you hold them for me."

"What a tsundere." That was all that Lin Fan could think when he saw Xiao Mu like this.
