Chapter 1313: It wasn’t needed

Lin Fan looked ragged when it was over.

That was because the Heavenly Demon really hadn’t held back in getting Lin Fan’s help preparing everything.

So Lin Fan was literally drained of all of his energy by the Heavenly Demon.

Though this was something that he did willingly since it was something that was done to help Ye Qing Huan.

Since it was for Ye Qing Huan, it was worth it.

Once the Heavenly Demon was done, he immediately grabbed all of the things that they had created and headed out. Before heading out though, he made sure to grab Lin Fan as well.

Lin Fan was able to experience for the first time what it was like to travel at speeds like this. It was completely different from anything that he had experienced before since this speed really was something else.

When he came back to his senses, he found that he was in a completely different place.

This didn’t even feel like a place in the Heavenly Demon Sect.

But he could see that Ye Qing Huan was here.

Ye Qing Huan had actually bothered him less during this time and he had even been wondering where she had been. So it turned out that she had been coming to this place to train.

Or it was better to say that she had come to this place to suppress the spiritual energy that was building up inside of her.

It wasn’t just to ensure that she didn’t break through before everything was ready, it was also to refine it so that her breakthrough would be even stronger when it came.

Though Lin Fan had helped with the creation of these things, he didn’t actually know what they were for. So in the end, it wasn’t as if he could do anything to help the Heavenly Demon set up.

However, he could tell that the things that the Heavenly Demon set up were quite amazing.

Just the spiritual energy that came from them was more than enough for him to figure this out.

But Ye Qing Huan seemed to have noticed that things were happening around her as she suddenly opened her eyes. It was only natural that she would sense the appearance of this spiritual energy as the Heavenly Demon was setting up.

“You’re here!” With an excited tone in her voice, she came over to Lin Fan.

The Heavenly Demon acted like he didn’t see this, but there was a wry smile that appeared on his face. It was clear that he was hurt by the fact that his disciple cared more about Lin Fan than him.

Lin Fan just said with an awkward cough, “I’m here with your master.”

Ye Qing Huan only took note of the Heavenly Demon after Lin Fan said this, but she didn’t seem to care that he was here at all.

Another wry look appeared on the Heavenly Demon’s face when he saw this.

If Lin Fan hadn’t said anything, then he would have been able to make himself known at his own pace. But since Lin Fan said something, it really was hard for him to do anything since Ye Qing Huan had already seen him.

Lin Fan had been trying to help, but all he did was actually make things harder for the Heavenly Demon.

Lin Fan recognized that as well, but it was already too late for him to do anything about this. So in the end, the only thing that any of them could do was move on from this by focusing on Ye Qing Huan.

“How is your condition?” Lin Fan asked Ye Qing Huan.

She didn’t reply to this and instead just asked, “Are you worried about me?”

Lin Fan couldn’t help revealing a faint smile when he heard this.

This reminded him of how Ye Qing Huan had acted in the past and he missed it a bit since he hadn’t seen her that often during this time. Still, he looked at her as if he was waiting for an answer since this was important.

“I’ll be fine. This will be easy.” Ye Qing Huan said with a confident smile.

Lin Fan just nodded without saying anything.

Even if he wanted to say something, it wasn’t as if there was anything that he could say since he didn’t really have a grasp of how things were. He had helped, but he was nothing more than a supplier of material rather than being someone that actually knew what they were doing.

In the end, it was the Heavenly Demon that said, “It’s good that you’re confident. Everything is set up, so just head into the array and get ready.”

Ye Qing Huan’s response was to glare at the Heavenly Demon as if he was getting in her way which made the Heavenly Demon reveal a wry smile for a third time, but she still followed his instructions and went to get ready.

It didn’t take her long to get ready and once she was in place, the Heavenly Demon waved his hand.

The place that they had been in was a forest, but the trees were suddenly cut down all by the Heavenly Demon to provide a clearing for Ye Qing Huan.

He didn’t do this earlier since he didn’t want to reveal their location before this, but he didn’t hesitate to clear out this entire area just for Ye Qing Huan.

Once the clearing was formed, the aura around Ye Qing Huan started to change.

It was starting to swell as if it was becoming stronger and stronger.

She was no longer holding her cultivation back and allowed it to become stronger like this since she was about to break through. As her cultivation became stronger and stronger, it made it even more clear just what level of cultivation Ye Qing Huan was at.

Ye Qing Huan really didn’t seem to be struggling at all against the tribulation lightning falling down on her.

It was as if this was nothing more than a shower of lightning that fell down that didn’t bother her at all.

When Lin Fan looked at the Heavenly Demon, he could see that even the Heavenly Demon had no idea what was happening.
