Chapter 1302: Why wouldn’t I?

In the end, the disciples of the Galaxy Sword Sect surrendered before things went too far.

There was no reason for them not to surrender since this group had even taken down the ones from the Mount Hua Sword Sect.

There was no way that they would be able to face a group like this.

So of course they would surrender before things went too far.

It was as if he was already used to fighting with other sects over resources like this. Then again, he was one of the elders of the Mount Hua Sword Sect, so it was only natural that this would be the case.

However, it wasn’t as if Lin Fan was done yet.

It wasn’t as if he was afraid of killing these people from the Mount Hua Sword Sect since he had already prepared something to make sure that they wouldn’t find out.

It was just that he thought that there would be something better than killing them.

Killing them was just too simple after all.

Everyone was confused when Lin Fan said this all of a sudden.

Lin Fan just completely ignored him as he looked at the swords that were in the hands of the Mount Hua Sword Sect disciples.

After a moment of silence, he waved his hand and used the Clear Water that was around them to take their swords.

For sword cultivators, it was shameful to have their swords taken from them.

So it was only natural that the Mount Hua Sword Sect disciples would do what they could to prevent this from happening. They held as tightly as they could, but their swords were ripped from their hands in the end.

They could only watch as all of these swords gathered in front of Lin Fan.

“What are you planning to do?” The middle aged man said in an even more threatening voice this time.

It was as if he was full of confidence that Lin Fan wouldn’t actually do anything to hurt them, so he was speaking in this manner.

But Lin Fan just ignored him as he looked at all of the swords in front of him.

Then with another flick of his hand, the swords went over to the outer sect disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect.

They all looked at him with confused looks at first, but Lin Fan then said, “I think that you should help them decorate these swords a bit.”

The moment that this was said, everyone understood what Lin Fan meant by this.

After all, a sword cultivator’s sword could be considered their heart. For someone to do something to their sword, it would be like desecrating their pride and their soul.

So what Lin Fan was doing…

“Do you really think that you’ll get away with this? How dare you do something like this!” The middle aged man was filled with rage when he said this, but there was a trace of fear that was in his voice.

After all, the mission that he had been sent here on was to watch over these kids.

If something were to happen to them, there was no doubt that he would be the one that would be blamed for all of this.

What they were trying to do by taking all of these swords was very clear.

“Why wouldn’t I dare do this?” Lin Fan asked the middle aged man with a smile on his face, but the middle aged man didn’t seem to see a smile.

What he saw was nothing more than the smile of a devil.

After a moment of silence, he pulled his sword once more and started slashing at the Clear Water bubble around him. This time, he couldn’t just remain still and try to wait things out.

This time, he had to do something to save these Mount Hua Sword Sect disciples that were under his protection.

But no matter how he tried slashing at this barrier, he found that he couldn’t break it at all. The only thing that appeared were ripples on the surface of the Clear Water, but those were also getting weaker and weaker.

From inside of the Clear Water bubbles, there were roars of rage, cries of anguish, and different reactions that came from the Mount Hua Sword Sect disciples. But there wasn’t a single one of them that were able to do a thing about the barrier that stopped them.

Some of them tried to break out by slamming their fists with all of their spiritual energy concentrated against the barrier, but there was nothing that happened. They just simply weren’t strong enough to break free.

After a while, all of them collapsed with blank looks on their faces.

That went to show just how important these swords were to them that they reacted like this. But at the same time, it went to show just how much they had been affected by their swords being tarnished like this.

It was almost as if their bodies themselves had been tarnished.

Only Lin Fan didn’t end it here.

Once the middle aged man was drained of his energy, that was when he grabbed his sword as well.

“You! You…” The middle aged man’s voice slowly started to lose power as he realized what was about to happen.

Even if he wanted to act tough, it wasn’t as if he could remain that way now that he was even being threatened.

“Just let me go. I promise that I won’t do anything.”

He lost all the vigor that he had previously when it was even him that was on the chopping block. But it wasn’t as if Lin Fan cared about what he said since he was doing this to mess with the four righteous sects in the first place.

“You demons…” The middle aged man said before collapsing himself.

Lin Fan just tossed his sword on the ground without a care even though he had been called this.

Once he was done with them, there was nothing else that he could do with them.

So he just tossed them to the side with the barrier still around them, though that barrier would disappear once they left this place.
