"Matthew, perhaps we could take a walk in the garden or play a game of chess? If Knox is unlucky and stuck in traffic, it might take a while for him to get back. Just sitting here idly is quite boring."

Hayes Simmons paused, feeling he had ventured unwisely.

"Knox really is something; already an adult, yet he acts so impulsively, doing things according to his own will without considering the consequences at all. The entire family pampered him too much, which led to his lack of maturity. But don’t worry, when he gets back, I’ll definitely help you ask where he took Scarlett."

As Hayes spoke, he furrowed his brows.

His spoiled brother was indeed becoming more reckless with his actions; this time, he had hidden someone’s wife.

It’s truly disgraceful for someone to come all the way to the Simmons family demanding their wife back.

Matthew Saxon laughed coldly, finally showing some expression on his face, but the smile was icy, more chilling than not smiling at all.

He curled his lips and coldly said, "Old Master Simmons is known for his strict discipline, and Old Master Simmons is also a man who means what he says. Yet in such circumstances, they still allowed Second Simmons to develop such a wilful personality; it truly is surprising. The previous groundings seemed ineffective; maybe Old Master Simmons needs to try a different approach to discipline him?"

Hayes Simmons felt very embarrassed, awkwardly laughing, "I’ll discuss this matter with Grandpa, but you know, Matthew, every time Grandpa talks tough, he’s always soft-hearted towards Knox; he’s never truly punished him."

Throughout the Simmons Family, only Knox Simmons enjoys this privilege, even Pearl Simmons, who is very favored, can’t match him.
