Chapter 577: Chapter 365: Finalizing the Deal, Aid Plan

Hearing this unfamiliar form of address, Han Ning subconsciously rubbed his chin.

"Hmm..."

The little Steel Elephant girl before him was just over ten years old. ’I spent nearly five years in the Sea God Palace and almost another year in this world. Before I knew it, I’m almost twenty-six.’

’I’m a full sixteen years older than this little girl!’

He opened his mouth, but... he supposed the little girl wasn’t wrong.

’Time really takes its toll...’

Han Ning sighed inwardly.

Seeing Han Ning hesitate, Gang Lifen instinctively tugged on his little sister’s arm.

Gang Kai’Er was a clever one. Her eyes darted about before she said sweetly, "Hello, big brother!"

"Pfft..."

Standing to the side, Lin Tianhe and Ah Yu had never seen anything so amusing and couldn’t help but chuckle.

Han Ning snapped out of it. Deciding not to dwell on such trifles, he smiled and said, "Let’s find a place where we can talk properly."

Lion City lacked places like teahouses suitable for discussion, and the taverns were far too noisy. In the end, Han Ning had no choice but to find an inn and rent a spacious room.

"This is an Intermediate Beast-Type Soul Beast Healing Potion. It can help a Monarch Level Soul Beast heal its injuries. This should meet your needs, right?" He took out a potion bottle shimmering with a misty, blood-red light, gave it a little shake, and handed it to the siblings, Gang Lifen and Gang Kai’Er.

Mammoth and elephant-type Soul Beasts, and even Beast Masters themselves, all fall under the Beast Type category. Since they are all made of flesh and blood, the Healing Potion is highly effective.

Gang Kai’Er took the potion and leaned in to inspect it for a few seconds before saying, "We’ll only know if it’s effective after we’ve tested it."

"How do you want to test it?"

"Big brother, can your Soul Beast tear open a rift in the surface of Subspace and travel through it?" Gang Kai’Er suddenly countered with a question.

"Er... not within Lion City," Han Ning admitted honestly.

’It wasn’t just Lion City. All Subspace passages within the Barbaric Beast Race’s territory were sealed. The only way through was via the public areas outside their domain.’

’Or... I could get Shi Zhou to help, but he’s already made it clear he won’t get involved in the two tribes’ business.’

"You can’t...?" Gang Kai’Er’s delicate brows furrowed. She fell silent for a moment, then let out a heavy sigh as if she’d just made a momentous decision that went against all her ancestors. She muttered, "Well, there’s no other way... I’ll just have to use *that*."

"Use *what*?" Han Ning asked curiously.

Gang Kai’Er didn’t answer. Instead, she took something from a small leather pouch at her waist: a palm-sized, curved Acute Angle. Its surface was yellowed and weathered by time.

It was called an Acute Angle, but it was actually a large, silver tooth. In all likelihood, it was a remnant from some kind of elephant-type Soul Beast.

Holding the Acute Angle, she gently drew its sharp tip across her own pale wrist.

Crimson blood, tinged with a faint silver hue, instantly flowed from the cut, only to be completely absorbed by the Acute Angle.

A miniature, blood-red elephant flew out from within the Acute Angle and dissipated into the air.

"There. Someone will come for us in a few hours." Gang Kai’Er put the Acute Angle away, but her expression was no longer as calm as it was before.

"Some kind of communication device? Who did you call?" Han Ning might not know all the details, but he could put two and two together. Although he didn’t know the Acute Angle’s specific function, he could make a pretty good guess based on Gang Kai’Er’s actions.

He recalled that Qing Fan of the Dragon Blood Race, as well as Bobo Man and his people, all had similar methods.

It was likely some kind of connection through a bloodline.

Another thing that surprised Han Ning was that of the two siblings, it was the younger, precocious sister, Gang Kai’Er, who was calling the shots.

As the older brother, Gang Lifen mostly just mumbled in agreement from the sidelines.

"I can’t tell you," Gang Kai’Er said, twitching her nose.

"Wait... Miss Gang Kai’Er, you’re being too reckless... If you don’t tell me, what makes you so sure I’ll go with you?" Han Ning was left a little speechless by the young girl.

"I called for Priest Gang Sasi of the Steel Elephant Tribe. He’s my second uncle. I want him to take us to the war front to test your potion’s effects." Gang Kai’Er seemed to realize she was being a little childish. Puffing out her cheeks, she reluctantly revealed the identity of the person she had summoned.

"Alright, wait here for a moment. Tianhe, Ah Yu, you two chat with them."

Realizing he knew nothing about this Gang Sasi, Han Ning stood up, intending to ask Bobo Man for more information.

"Where are you going, Brother Han Ning?" Gang Lifen stood up as well, looking nervous, thinking Han Ning was about to make a run for it.

"I’m going to the restroom..." Han Ning replied with a sigh, heading for the restroom.

"Oh... that’s good then."

Once inside the restroom, he used his Spiritual Power to seal the room off from the outside, then condensed a small, blood-red silkworm in the palm of his hand.

The Little Fatty Silkworm quivered a few times, and soon, Bobo Man’s Spiritual Fluctuation came through.

"Hello? Problem with the negotiations?" He could practically picture Bobo Man’s cheeky grin.

"Your Highness Prince Bobo Man, do you know anything about a Priest Gang Sasi?" Han Ning briefly recounted his conversation with Gang Kai’Er.

"Gang Sasi? I’m not too familiar with him, but the folks here from the Mad Lion Tribe should know him. I’ll ask around. Don’t hang up the ’phone’."

With that, Bobo Man went silent.

’’Phone’? Didn’t he say the Mad Lion Tribe doesn’t provide intel?’ Han Ning stared at the vacant-looking little silkworm in his palm. It did look a bit like a Den Den Mushi from One Piece.

On the other end of the "phone," inside a lavishly decorated hall...

Bobo Man was being cradled in the arms of a beautiful woman from the Mad Lion Tribe, while several other women gently massaged him. He looked like he was in absolute bliss.

"Shi Zhou, and the rest of you lot, do you know this Gang Sasi fellow?" Bobo Man asked lazily.
