Chapter 570: Chapter 361: Steel Elephant Boy, Part 2

’These... these two Soul Beasts are at War General Level at most... What’s going on? How can a War General Level beast use a special power combining Spiritual Energy and Spiritual Power... Could it be a secret technique exclusive to the Flame Pig Clan?’

Although the battle was at a relatively low level, Han Ning had unexpectedly discovered something new.

"The bloodline power of the Flame Pig Clan can be combined with pig-type Soul Beasts to unleash all sorts of incredible power," Bobo Man said, watching the arena intently, though he didn’t sound entirely certain.

As the two of them were talking, the Steel Elephant Youth in the arena cried out, his voice hurried and filled with anxiety:

"I surrender! Let it go, now!"

THUD.

"OINK, OINK."

The large pig released the snake-like body and scurried back to the Flame Pig Giant’s side. It raised its head, its proud gaze filled with aggression as it stared directly at its defeated opponent.

"Contestant 057 is the winner of this match!"

’He... just won like that?’

Han Ning felt that neither side had even used any Soul Techniques. The Flame Vein Pig Demon, in particular, had won with ease using pure Flame Power.

’It was over in less than ten seconds... Tsk...’

He clicked his tongue in amazement, his gaze shifting between the Silver Flashing Dragonfly, the Flame Vein Pig Demon, and the Flame Pig Giant.

’The Silver Flashing Dragonfly seems to be badly injured...’

The Silver Flashing Dragonfly’s body was being corroded by the golden-yellow flames, and it looked like it would be difficult for it to recover.

’Wait! The boy from the Steel Elephant Tribe...’

As Han Ning watched, an idea suddenly struck him.

’If I step in and help it now, could I win the friendship of the Steel Elephant Youth?’

’This kid already has a B+ Talent Soul Beast at such a young age. His status in the Steel Elephant Tribe must be quite high!’

...

Gang Lifen was a Steel Elephant Person who absolutely loved to battle. Hailing from the Steel Elephant Tribe, he had become a Tier Two Beastmaster at the young age of twelve.

Now, his second Soul Beast—the Silver Flashing Dragonfly—had reached the peak of the War General Level and desperately needed high-quality battles to find an opportunity for a breakthrough.

Unfortunately... his first outing was a failure.

Easily defeated by the Flame Pig Giant before him, Gang Lifen was utterly unconvinced. He clenched his fists, his face flushed red, and shouted at his opponent, "Flame Boar Person, don’t you go anywhere! How about another match?"

"Another match? You’re not convinced?"

The Flame Pig Giant’s mouth curled into a grin. His sharp tusks let out a puff of sparks as he stared at Gang Lifen with a disdainful gaze.

"You... you’re not scared, are you?" Gang Lifen, incensed by the other’s look, felt his face grow even redder.

"Who’s scared? If you want a fight, you’ll get one." The Flame Pig Giant lifted his head defiantly.

Gang Lifen snorted. Ignoring the referee’s attempts to dissuade him, he recalled his Silver Flashing Dragonfly and immediately summoned a gigantic mammoth, ten meters tall and wreathed in silver light.

He pulled a stack of currency from his robes and shoved it into the referee’s arms. "Here’s 20,000 Tirar. Consider it the rental fee for the arena."

The referee stammered as he looked at the cash in his arms, then promptly shut his mouth.

’Interesting. Another B+ Talent Holy Steel Mammoth. Are B+ Talent Soul Beasts really this common among the Barbaric Beast Race...?’

Han Ning leaned back in his soft chair, watching with great interest as the two argued in the arena.

The referee called over a colleague, said a few words, then nodded to both sides and announced, "Let the match begin."

As the referee’s voice faded, a fiery light flashed in front of the Flame Pig Giant. A crimson Dragon Type Soul Beast emerged, about the same height as the Holy Steel Mammoth.

A ruby-colored body, sturdy thighs, and a pair of menacing bone spurs on its head...

This Flying Dragon was a little different from a normal one—because on top of its fearsome head sat a huge pig’s snout!

’A B Talent Flame Breath Flying Dragon? It looks like a hybrid between a dragon and some kind of pig-shaped Soul Beast. I never expected the Flame Pig Clan to be skilled in breeding Dragon Type Soul Beasts.’

Han Ning was extremely familiar with the Soul Beast the Flame Pig Giant had summoned; he recognized its Race the moment it appeared.

"Hehe, I know about this one. Flying Dragons already have mixed bloodlines from many Soul Beasts. This kind of pig-headed Flying Dragon is mixed with the blood of a Bloodthirsty Pig King, making its Power immense... The little guy from the Steel Elephant Family is probably going to lose again," Bobo Man chuckled.

"Damn! The world is full of strange things. They even have friggin’ pig-headed dragons." Lin Tianhe’s mouth hung slightly open as he took out his phone and started snapping a flurry of pictures.

"You are no match for me."

The Flame Pig Giant’s mouth split into a grin, revealing his menacing tusks.

The Steel Elephant Youth’s expression suddenly turned grave. He hesitated no longer, immediately commanding the Holy Steel Mammoth with his Spiritual Power, "Charge! Tear it to pieces!!"

Immediately after, a silver light, like gleaming silver, coated his pupils.

At the same time, dense silver patterns appeared on the shimmering, deep-silver armor of the Holy Steel Mammoth before him, and sharp barbs sprouted from its surface.

’Interesting. Going all out right from the start, are we...’

The Flame Pig Giant chuckled and gave the command, "Flame Roar, use Dragon Breath!"

The Flame Breath Flying Dragon stared at the Holy Steel Mammoth, which had flown into mid-air and was keeping its distance. It abruptly reared up, its draconic mouth gaping open.

VREEE!

A sharp exhalation, like a blaring steam whistle, echoed throughout the arena. The Flame Breath Flying Dragon’s mouth opened nearly 180 degrees, and from its fang-filled maw, a pillar of light wreathed in a yellowish-red heatwave shot out toward the Holy Steel Mammoth.

"Divide," the Steel Elephant Youth commanded, his eyes flashing.

"KRA-MOH!!"

A clang of colliding metal resounded from the Holy Steel Mammoth’s body. Its sturdy form instantly boiled like molten steel and split into several parts, easily dodging the Dragon Breath attack.

However, just as the Holy Steel Mammoth was about to re-form, the Flame Pig Giant revealed a strange smile.

"Gravity Field!"

WHOOSH~

The Holy Steel Mammoth’s fluid form suddenly stiffened. For a moment, it was like a fly caught in glue, unable to move.

But then, a streak of deep silver Spiritual Light swiftly coursed through it, helping it break free.

But in that fraction of a second of stagnation, the Dragon Breath shot out like a cannonball and precisely struck the Holy Steel Mammoth’s body.

PFFT!

The Holy Steel Mammoth fell to the ground on impact, its body covered in a thick, viscous sludge of flames and flickering Dragon Power.

"Damn it, its movement is restricted." The Steel Elephant Youth’s expression changed. He continued to command, "Divide. Merge with the atmosphere."

The parts of the Holy Steel Mammoth’s body unaffected by the Dragon Power rapidly split into tiny steel pellets, becoming nearly invisible to the naked eye as they gradually merged with the air.

The other part, however, remained a fluid structure of molten steel under the corrosion of the Dragon Power.

CRACKLE, CRACKLE, CRACKLE! The Dragon Breath passed through the air and struck the ground, blasting a deep crater in the battlefield, but the Holy Steel Mammoth was already gone without a trace.

Then, with a series of clattering sounds, the molten steel reconverged, and a Holy Steel Mammoth, one size smaller than before but in perfect condition, reappeared.

The Holy Steel Mammoth reformed, and the two sides once again engaged in fierce combat.

After dozens of rounds of back-and-forth fighting, the Holy Steel Mammoth was entangled in a dense web of Dragon Power, and its body grew smaller and smaller.

The skeleton of a mammoth, shimmering with a rich silver light, faintly became visible to the audience.

In contrast, the crimson Flame Breath Flying Dragon, aside from crouching on the ground and panting slightly, appeared largely unharmed.

"Still not surrendering? Just give up."

The Flame Pig Giant commanded his Flame Breath Flying Dragon to continue its assault while delivering a soul-crushing taunt.

The Steel Elephant Youth’s face was stern. He took a deep breath, his expression tense. "The Steel Elephant Tribe will not surrender to a stinking wild boar."

"Not very strong, but you’ve got a tough mouth." The Flame Pig Giant shook his head, then gave a cold sneer. "If that’s how you want it, I’ll just beat you until you submit!"

"Flame Roar, give it the final blow. Dragon’s Rock Spike."

Receiving the command, the Flame Breath Flying Dragon whipped its tail, launching its entire body into the air. Then it swung its long tail again, slamming it heavily onto the ground.

At the same time, the flat ground beneath the Holy Steel Mammoth began to twist strangely.

Suddenly, stone spikes more than five meters in diameter and gleaming with Dragon Power shot up from the ground.

The Holy Steel Mammoth tried to divide again, but the Dragon Power was simply too domineering. It instantly locked down the Spiritual Energy in its body, and its Casting speed was now much slower than at the beginning of the fight.

"Hehe, His Highness Prince Bobo Man, it’s almost our turn to make a move." Han Ning watched the critically injured Holy Steel Mammoth, a faint smile on his face.
