Why is This Troublemaker So Damn Rich?

Chapter 326: Chapter 221: None of Them Are Honest
“By the way, President Li, you asked me yesterday to set up a meeting with Zhao Rui. He agreed and said he’ll come to Qingzhou tomorrow to relax and connect with everyone.”
This was something Li Yang had been focused on recently. Upon hearing this, he glanced up at Han Chao. “The most important thing is the dinner I’m treating President Zhao to. Alright, while he’s in Qingzhou, you show him around. If I have time, I can meet with him as well.”
“As for having dinner with President Zhao, he said he’ll bring it up once President Zhao arrives in Qingzhou.”
After Han Chao left, he sent a message to Zhao Rui, telling him he could live it up in Qingzhou for the next couple of days. Better yet, it was fun on official orders—the company would reimburse him.
In Shen Meng’s Mercedes-Benz C260L, two live-streamers chattered away, discussing what was lacking in today’s sales stream and how they could do even better next time.
When Shen Meng’s car parked in the Yinlu · Xiang lot, the two live-streamers exclaimed dramatically, “Wow, our boss is treating us to such a fancy dinner today!”
She turned off the ignition, grabbed her purse, and got out, saying, “Once you get paid next month, you’ll both be loaded. You might even start looking down on a place like this.”
Hearing her boss’s joke, the live-streamer Zhang Qin walked over with a sweet smile. “It’s all thanks to you, Boss, for giving us the opportunity. The company has a great platform, too. Otherwise, how could we ever have the chance to earn this much?”
The other live-streamer, Wenli, chimed in, “That’s right. Getting into such a great company and working for such a wonderful boss right after graduation… it must be a blessing from our past lives.”
As Shen Meng walked inside, she said, “There will be on-site sales streams every month from now on. Keep up the good work, and you’ll achieve financial freedom before you know it.”
Zhang Qin’s eyes shone as she whispered, “I’ve set a goal for myself: to buy a house and a car within a year.”
Wenli glanced at her. ‘I’ve never done the math before,’ she thought, ‘but if we really get an opportunity like this every month, we could actually buy a house and a car within a year. We’d be total winners in life. And the key is, we’re only twenty-two.’
When Yang Hui got home from the Xinyue Square branch that afternoon, he noticed a pair of black high heels as he was changing his shoes. ‘That’s strange,’ he thought. ‘Wenren Meng always wears canvas shoes or flats. Since when does she wear high heels?’
“Mr. Yang, please have a seat. The food will be ready in a moment.”
He nodded. “Is Du’Er doing her homework?”
Wenren Meng was stir-frying with the range hood on, so she didn’t hear his question. Yang Hui shook his head. It was just an idle question, so he didn’t mind. He went back to his study and sat for a while to review recent events.
He had thrown everything—company registration, land title transfers, building the HR structure, and even future operations management—to Hu Mei, while he, at most, handled some auxiliary tasks. ‘What I really need to do is increase my unemployment benefits,’ he thought. ‘After leaving Futong Commerce, my benefits have already hit thirty million a month. But who would complain about having too much money? It’s good to earn a little more to benefit society.’
‘So, even after leaving Futong Commerce, I still want to keep grinding my unemployment value. That’s my biggest cash cow. Just imagine, my unemployment value is only 2 right now, and I’m already getting thirty million a month. If I grind it up to 10… my god. Even if the base salary stays at 15,000, that’s 150 million a month in unemployment benefits. Raking in the profits of a publicly listed company just from unemployment checks… I’m probably the only one who could pull that off.’
KNOCK KNOCK. Yang Hui snapped out of his thoughts. ‘They must be calling me for dinner.’ He pulled the door open, and sure enough, it was Wenren Meng.
“I’ll be right there.”
As he watched Wenren Meng walk ahead of him, he couldn’t help but notice how thin her waist was. ‘I’m afraid it might just snap,’ he thought. ‘Especially since she’s supporting such a big butt. I wonder if it’s too heavy.’
Realizing he was getting a little worked up, he slowed his pace and walked to the little girl’s room. Seeing the door was open, he went inside and patted her on the head. “Hurry up and come eat.”
After patting her, he suddenly realized something. ‘Huh? Why is the little girl wearing such mature, professional-looking clothes?’ Just then, he heard a voice call from outside, “Dad, Teacher Yang, it’s time to eat!”
Yang Bing had been helping Du’Er with a homework problem when she was suddenly patted twice on the head. Completely stunned, she whipped her head around, her eyes locking with Yang Hui’s in a moment of awkward silence.
“Oh, Teacher Yang! Uh, I’m so sorry. I thought you were Du’Er.”
Yang Bing shot him a harsh glare. ‘I wonder if he did that on purpose,’ she fumed. ‘Do I dress like a little girl? And is she as… developed as I am?’
Yang Hui genuinely hadn’t done it on purpose. The sight of Wenren Meng’s retreating figure had sent his mind reeling, and he had deliberately come to get the little girl for dinner just to distract himself. So, when he entered the room, his head was still full of Wenren Meng and her swaying hips. He hadn’t paid any attention to who was in the room, and it never crossed his mind that anyone other than the little girl would be in there.
“Du’Er asked me to help her with her homework,” Yang Bing explained.
Yang Bing stood up and smoothed down the hair Yang Hui had messed up. As she gently fluffed it back into place, the pleasant scent of her shampoo drifted to Yang Hui’s nose.
Another call for dinner came from outside, and the two of them proceeded to the dining room and sat down.
Sitting across from Yang Hui, Yang Bing secretly sized him up. ‘Today is partly to help Du’Er with her homework,’ she thought, ‘but it’s also a kind of home visit. I learned from Wenren Meng that he’s not even twenty-five yet, and Du’Er is his adopted daughter. I never expected such a huge pervert to be so kind-hearted. I guess he has some redeeming qualities after all.’
Du’Er obediently placed some food onto Teacher Yang’s plate. ‘This kid really knows how to win people over,’ Yang Hui mused. ‘No wonder she has Yang Bing wrapped around her little finger.’
Yang Bing said hastily, “That’s enough, Du’Er. You eat. I can serve myself.”
Yang Hui smiled. “Respect for one’s teachers is something that has to be cultivated from a young age. Teacher Yang, you don’t need to be so polite with her. It’s what she should be doing.”
