After picking up Zhou Chengchen, the group left the airport. Although it was a bit late, none of them had eaten yet.

The restaurant was already reserved by Xi Siyan, and they quickly headed there.

Zhou Chengchen naturally sat in Xi Siyan’s car, but once they reached the restaurant, Zhou Chengchen scooted over to Xiao Rou’s side: “Little Rou’er, come on, spill it, you and my brother… hmm?”

Seeing Zhou Chengchen’s face full of mischievous gossip, Xiao Rou couldn’t help but blush: “I’ll tell you later.”

Xiao Rou hadn’t planned to hide it from Zhou Chengchen. Something like this couldn’t be hidden anyway, but she didn’t want to just gossip to Zhou Chengchen. She cherished her relationship with Zhou Qi. As Zhou Qi’s younger sister, and Xiao Rou’s good friend, Xiao Rou wanted to talk to her seriously about it. A dinner table wasn’t the best place for that.

During the meal, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, though it was only on the surface.

An Rui’s gaze drifted between Zhou Qi and Xiao Rou, then Zhou Chengchen and Xi Siyan. He’s usually not very focused on these things, but today, for some reason, An Rui felt utterly tormented.

Looking at Liu Xiaoyu, who was also in the single’s club with him, An Rui didn’t know him well, but they were acquaintances. Now, seeing him calmly eating his meal as if he were unaffected, An Rui silently gave Liu Xiaoyu a thumbs-up in his heart. “Dude, you’re awesome.”

After dinner, considering Zhou Chengchen’s long flight, they didn’t plan any further gatherings and didn’t want to part ways yet. Since the restaurant was close to Xi Siyan’s apartment, everyone decided to head there.

After the long flight, Zhou Chengchen went for a shower first and also called Xiao Rou upstairs.

The guys chatted downstairs while Zhou Chengchen finished her shower and came out, not even bothering to dry her hair, and immediately grabbed Xiao Rou: “Come on, spill it.”

Xiao Rou pursed her lips, feeling a bit embarrassed, and after a few seconds of silence, she seriously looked at Zhou Chengchen: “I’m with Zhou Qi.”

“Since when?”

“For a while now.”

Xiao Rou gave a rough outline of events, and Zhou Chengchen smacked her thigh: “My brother finally came to his senses, huh.”

“What?”

“I told him a long time ago, if you like her, just say it, yet he kept dragging his feet, claiming it was impossible between you two. And look, he couldn’t hold back in the end. Hmph, I despise him for being so wishy-washy. If it weren’t for that, you two could’ve been together ages ago.”

Zhou Chengchen bluntly criticized, leaving Xiao Rou a bit puzzled. Did Zhou Chengchen mean she knew all along that Zhou Qi liked her?

How come she didn’t know?

“He… liked me from before?”

Xiao Rou asked uncertainly. In fact, even though she’d been with Zhou Qi for a while and Zhou Qi treated her very well, dispelling most of her feelings of unreality.

But Xiao Rou still felt a lingering sense of disbelief. She never asked Zhou Qi why he wanted to be with her. In fact, Zhou Qi never explicitly said he liked her; he just silently treated her very well.

Xiao Rou always thought she was the first to fall for him, but now, Zhou Chengchen’s words suggested otherwise.

“You didn’t know?”

Zhou Chengchen was also stunned by Xiao Rou’s question. She thought since Zhou Qi and Xiao Rou were together, he must have confessed. But judging by Xiao Rou’s expression, she was completely unaware.
