Zhou Chengchen slammed her phone down heavily, damn it, she wanted to break up!

The noise was a bit loud, startling the two people watching a video nearby, Zhou Qi and An Rui, who both looked over.

"What’s wrong?"

Zhou Qi spoke first, and Zhou Chengchen puffed up in anger, "I want to break up."

Zhou Qi and An Rui exchanged a glance, then turned back to continue reviewing their game.

"Hey, you guys..."

Zhou Chengchen was stunned. She said she wanted to break up, so why no reaction from these two?

Zhou Qi’s gaze lingered on the computer as he casually remarked, "Today the sun rose from the east."

Zhou Chengchen: "..."

She could obviously understand the implication of that statement. You will break up with Xi Siyan? Only if the sun rises in the west.

Zhou Chengchen got even angrier. Do they really think she can’t part with Xi Siyan?

Uh... alright, she indeed couldn’t.

Silently sitting back, she grabbed her phone: [I’m mad, washboard, durian, keyboard, instant noodles, pick one.]

Xi Siyan: [Your call.]

Zhou Chengchen: [Hmm... no washboard at home, durian smells bad, keyboard is too pricey, instant noodles then.]

Xi Siyan: [Sure, what flavor? Old Altered Sauerkraut?]

Zhou Chengchen: [Okay.]

Hey, hey, hey, you two, don’t you think this topic is getting off track?

Though Xi Siyan was texting Zhou Chengchen, he was incredibly busy on his end.

Zhou Chengchen stayed with Zhou Qi’s team all day. By evening, after team training ended, everyone headed to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Maybe because they were younger, everyone had a vibrant youthful energy.

In comparison, the dignified An Rui and the languid Zhou Qi seemed like old souls.

The crowd merrily continued until late, and only then did Zhou Qi drive Zhou Chengchen back to her apartment, finding that Xi Siyan hadn’t returned yet.

Zhou Chengchen opened the apartment door; it was as quiet as it was when she left.

Zhou Chengchen was a bit surprised and called Xi Siyan, but his phone was off.

Checking the time, it was nearly midnight. Could something have happened?

That was her first thought.

She quickly grabbed her car keys and dashed out. Zhou Qi had just dropped her off, and now Zhou Chengchen was running out again.

The drive was smooth and she headed to the office building where Cheng Yi was.

Seeing the lights were still on upstairs, Zhou Chengchen paused—how late it was, and they were still working overtime?

Quickly heading upstairs, the moment she stepped out of the elevator, Zhou Chengchen spotted someone squatting by the door, hands tangled in their hair, continually pulling at it.

"Brother Li?"

Zhou Chengchen called out, and the person looked up. Seeing Zhou Chengchen, he quickly stood up: "Cheng Chen, why are you here?"

"Si Yan hasn’t come back. I came to check. What’s going on here...?"

"Oh, Si Yan is inside. You can go in."

The person called "Brother Li" didn’t explain much, but opened the door, gesturing for Zhou Chengchen to enter.

In the not-so-large space, the lights were bright, and everyone seemed busy. Hearing Zhou Chengchen come in, someone looked up to greet her, then quickly returned to work.

Zhou Chengchen could tell everyone was indeed busy, and went straight into Xi Siyan’s office, where Xi Siyan and Liu Xiaoyu stood behind someone, all three wearing serious expressions.

Zhou Chengchen couldn’t at all imagine that this person was playfully texting her just earlier today.
