Chapter 234 -230: Interstellar Deserted Star Farm Woman 41

If Dai Lixing hadn’t mentioned the spiritual power test, it wouldn’t have even crossed Ji Xiaosong’s mind. She had been in the interstellar world for about a year now but still hadn’t gone for a test.

“Oh, that completely slipped my mind. But since you brought it up, I’ll go get tested.”

“Wa Star doesn’t have the right equipment. Come with me to the Main Star, and you can see our home there at the same time.”

Dai Lixing had wanted to take Ji Xiaosong to the Main Star for a long time. Their wedding and reception had both been held on Wa Star, and now that even the two research institutes had relocated to Wa Star, she would probably have even less reason to visit the Main Star in the future.

“The Main Star? Alright, let’s take Sui An with us. It’s about time he got his spiritual power tested, too.”

Ji Xiaosong did want to see the Main Star. She had been busy before, but she could definitely find the time to go now.

The family boarded Dai Lixing’s Starship. When they arrived at the Main Star, Xiao Li and his team were already waiting in the courtyard of the Marshal Mansion.

The Starship flew directly to the entrance of their home and stopped. The moment the hatch opened, a faint humming sound reached their ears.

A group of exquisitely designed robots stood in neat rows in the courtyard. Their eyes flickered with blue light, and a message scrolled across their chest displays: “Welcome home, Marshal! Welcome, Mrs. Dai and the young master!”

Xiao Li hurried forward, followed by a tall, humanoid robot butler.

“Welcome home, Mrs. Dai, Marshal. Marshal, everything is ready,” Xiao Li said respectfully.

The robot butler bowed slightly, his voice gentle yet polite. “Marshal, Mrs. Dai, I hope your journey was pleasant. Mrs. Dai, I am Butler 001, and I am in charge of all affairs at the Marshal Mansion on the Main Star.”

Ji Xiaosong curiously sized up the high-tech marvels around her, marveling internally at the wonders of the interstellar world. ‘These look much more advanced than the ones I bought back on Wa Star.’

Dai Lixing took her hand and explained with a smile, “Song Song, from now on, you can just tell 001 about anything you need done around the house, big or small. It will handle everything perfectly.”

Surrounded by the robots, they walked into the Marshal Mansion.

Along the way, Ji Xiaosong noticed various screens embedded in the walls, displaying real-time weather forecasts, energy consumption data, and local security status.

As they entered the living room, a holographic projector sat beside the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a brilliant starscape across the room.

Suddenly, Dai Lixing stopped and said to Ji Xiaosong, “Song Song, I have a gift for you.”

He then nodded at 001.

001 turned, opened a hidden door, and several small robots emerged, pushing a massive transparent case.

Inside the case was a set of advanced agricultural equipment, a world away from the simple tools Ji Xiaosong used on Wa Star.

“You’ve always enjoyed farming, and while you have your own plot of land on Wa Star, I knew you’d appreciate more advanced equipment. I had this custom-made for you. It can simulate the climates and soil conditions of various planets, using an intelligent system for precise control so you can grow any crop you desire. Plus, it can connect to the interstellar agricultural research database to access the latest cultivation techniques and knowledge.”

Dai Lixing watched Ji Xiaosong tenderly, his eyes full of love.

Ji Xiaosong walked over and gently touched the equipment, feeling the cool whisper of the metal casing against her fingers.

Sui An toddled over as well, curiously peering at the contents of the case and babbling.

Dai Lixing picked up Sui An and said with a smile, “From now on, Sui An can help Mama grow lots and lots of yummy things here, how about that?”

Although Sui An didn’t understand a word, he laughed right on cue.

Just then, soft music began to play in the living room, emanating from a hidden sound system in the ceiling.

001 announced, “The Marshal specifically requested this for you, Mrs. Dai. He hopes you will feel the warmth of home here.”

At that moment, a small, spherical robot floated over. Its body blinked with multicolored lights as it stopped in front of Ji Xiaosong and projected a detailed cultivation guide. The guide included instructions for all the new equipment’s functions and even suggested a few planting plans suitable for beginners.

Dai Lixing explained, “This is an intelligent cultivation assistant. It can help you anytime. If there’s anything you don’t understand, just ask it.”

Ji Xiaosong couldn’t help but laugh, thoroughly intrigued by the novel gadget.

Next, 001 led them to a special room. The walls were covered with diagrams of various high-tech agricultural tools. Beside them was a control console, its buttons blinking with different colored lights.

001 explained, “Mrs. Dai, this is the agricultural equipment control room. From here, you can remotely operate the tools for plowing, irrigation, and other tasks based on your specific planting needs.”

Ji Xiaosong’s eyes widened in amazement. “Interesting! It’s all remote-controlled? Does that mean the robots can operate them too? I have agricultural bots on Wa Star, and they can do this stuff.”

“Yes, but this is designed for you to *experience* farming, so we created something semi-intelligent.”

Dai Lixing smiled and continued, “From now on, this will be your own little farming world. You can tinker with it however you like. Oh, there’s one more place I want to show you.”

With that, he led Ji Xiaosong to the backyard.

The backyard was vast. It had originally been a flat, empty expanse, but now several large robots were busily at work.

“Song Song, I had this area converted into an experimental plot. You can use the new equipment here to try growing all sorts of crops to your heart’s content. The soil and climate simulation systems are already installed and calibrated. All it takes is your command to switch to any environment you want.”

“You’ve really thought of everything. And this equipment is exactly what I wanted. It’s perfect.”

Gazing at everything he had so meticulously prepared for her, a wave of warmth washed over Ji Xiaosong’s heart.

She turned and tugged on the aiguillette of Dai Lixing’s military uniform, the metal tassels rustling between her fingertips. “Being so thorough, Marshal Dai, did you count on me being unable to repay you?”

He smoothly wrapped his arm around her waist. The stiff waistband of his combat uniform pressed against her palm.

“If Mrs. Dai insists on repaying me…”

Before he could finish, Ji Xiaosong was already on her toes, silencing him with a kiss.

A soft chuckle rumbled in his throat. He cupped the back of her neck to deepen the kiss, and tendrils of his spiritual power spilled out uncontrollably, tracing faint golden ripples in the air.

“Ahhh…”

A baby’s cry suddenly cut through the air.

“According to Child Rearing Regulation, Article 207, it is inadvisable for infants and toddlers to observe intimate contact exceeding 3.6 seconds.”

Ji Dan’s mechanical voice was impossibly gentle, and its alloy shell began to glow with a cherry-blossom pink halo.

“Sui An, I detect that the fountain in the back garden has initiated a new program. Would you like to see the dancing jellyfish?”

Of course, Ji Sui’an didn’t answer Ji Dan. The robot simply picked him up and walked away.

Sucking on his pacifier, Sui An was placed in a levitating pod, his big eyes still fixed on his parents.

Ji Dan immediately activated a holographic screen. A cartoon version of Dai Lixing appeared, piloting a mecha to water a strawberry field. The little one immediately started giggling at the transparent wall of the pod.

The robot butler silently raised a soundproof barrier, and the iridescent shield enveloped the embracing figures, turning them into a hazy silhouette.

Dai Lixing sensed the barrier’s activation and, without breaking the kiss, granted it an S-class security clearance on his comm.

The spiritual power woven through Ji Xiaosong’s hair suddenly tightened, lifting her completely off the ground.
