What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?
Chapter 1551: Big Bang
After an event like that, I was expecting things to escalate even further and maybe get even more crazy.
Especially since now that I know other gods have apparently started paying attention to this World for some reason...
Yet, things went back to normal and I went back to attending classes once again when the school week started. The dichotomy was quite jarring.
One moment I was tearing my way through the space and crushing monsters while watching a god get beat up, the next I was sitting in class.
Classes were very educational as the teachers started going into details for their subjects. The first week was just an introduction and an early test to weed out the students that were unsuitable for the classes and the second week was when the real learning started.
They started teaching how to better craft our own spells and how to understand the element that we were learning in order to make our own spells.
Like I realised before, I had an advantage here since I came from my World and we had more scientific understanding of these elements to begin with.
Although even with that understanding, you still need to know how to apply it in the magic sense.
Like sure, you could know that fire is hot or that water is made up of one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms, but how would that help you with creating your magic?
Well... For me... I kind of just threw whatever I could just to see what would stick.
So one of the things I managed to do was creating a fire spell that could burn underwater by instantly separating the water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen before setting them on fire.
It wasn’t really a big spell or really that impressive because I learned others have done this before but it was still something, I guess?
It was, after all, basically my first original spell, even if it wasn’t really that efficient since the spell needed to constantly change the water around the fire into gas. So technically it wasn’t really a fire that could burn underwater but more like a spell to instantly change the water in a surrounding space into air and then setting it on fire.
At least... That was my assessment of it when I first showed it to Professor Igria as my first original spell.
But the moment the professor understood what I did, he let out a deep sigh as he heard my explanation.
"Student Aster... You really are something special... Your spell literally requires you to be able to use Aeromancy, Hydromancy and Pyromancy all at the same time. If you don’t have the capacity for all three magic types, you won’t be able to cast this spell. Is it inefficient? Yes. Is it something that no normal mage would be able to cast? Also yes. I suppose being surprised that a mage of your calibre would be able to come up with a spell to utilise three different magic elements as your first original spell should not be surprising..."
Huh... I guess now that he mentioned it... That’s really what my spell did... Hydromancy to control the water and isolate it, Aeromancy to separate the molecule itself to turn into air, then set it alight with Pyromancy and make sure it stays alight.
Hmm... I wonder if I could work Geomancy in there too? Then that would be a spell that would involve the four classic elements~
I actually got a little attached to that idea and thought about making a spell that would combine as many elements as I could in a single spell.
I figured that it would definitely be something destructive so it needed to have a lot of explosive force.
I went through my classes through the next few days trying to figure out a good spell to do that and I had a breakthrough during my Umbramancy class.
When I had told Director Vesper about my idea, she was very supportive and even gave me the idea that each of the elements could bring a specific trait to the spell by suggesting that the power of Umbramancy could be served to hide the spell.
With that in mind...
First... Air as the base and the core, then fire surrounding it to burn, then water surrounding the fire to control it, lightning to electrify and create a current in the water, and finally earth to compress and mold the spell into a circular shape.
The base of my spell was done.
And the name of the spell? I call it [Big Bang].
It might sound stupid, but I compressed this spell to the size of a marble and shot it at a target within my alternate space created by my [Staff of the Lonely King] and the resulting explosion from it was... Catastrophic.
The compressed air would first rapidly expand and fuel the fire, then the electrical currents would vaporise the water into air to further fuel the fire alongside its heat, and then the shockwave would burst forth from the compressed rock and send deadly shrapnel all around the impact area. That’s already assuming the target doesn’t die from the explosion that was big enough to be comparable to a one kiloton bomb.
And the best part about this spell was that it was modifiable.
If I wanted a smaller explosion, I would just put in less of each element.
If I wanted an even bigger explosion, I just need to put in more of each element to achieve it.
From my testing, it doesn’t seem like there’s a hard limit on how big I could make it but I stopped testing when I got to see a fifteen kiloton explosion go off in front of me.
But my experiments didn’t stop there.
I went on to create [Big Bang Stealth] where I would wrap the spell up with a layer of darkness after the final step.
This made the spell move slower but it had the effect of turning the spell practically invisible.
Then there was [Big Bang Speed] where instead of using darkness to wrap around it, I used light instead.
That turned the projectile into something that travelled at the speed of light, though it made the strength of the explosion smaller so if I had to compensate for it, I would need to pour in roughly thirty percent more just to match the original explosion of the [Big Bang].
Of course, that led to me making [Big Bang Vortex], which involved using both darkness and light in the final stages of the spell.
I thought it might make it both invisible and fast but apparently the two clashing elements turned it into a vortex of sorts that would suck in loose objects around the point of impact before exploding.
And just to test it out, I even went ahead to dig out the Demonic Core to use Infernalmancy to combine normal lightning with the infernal lightning.
The result of [Big Bang Hellstorm] was an explosion three times bigger than the base and it created a firestorm that spread blackened flames which were also unquenchable and fueled by my mana.
It was similar to my Shadow Sword which was interesting because this meant that the flames that coat the sword were actually Infernal flames this entire time.
I actually thought about trying to add Iatromancy to it and create something like a giant AOE heal or something but... That didn’t seem to be possible since I couldn’t really ’add’ an Iatromancy element in there.
Oh well, can’t say I didn’t try...
With those new spells under my belt, I used [Screened] on myself again.

And I almost didn’t notice it, but my sword skill had also improved by a tier.
What would people think if they knew I had already improved to such a degree in just a few days of coming to this school?
I... Don’t need to change classes right?
