Chapter 1545: Just Tear Open A Space

I watched as the entire hospital floor was completely levelled, the remaining entities currently crawling on the ground while my Shadow Guards finished them off.

One of the remaining entities was the nurse that had managed to run away from me the last time and I intentionally left her alive so that I could deal with her myself.

The nurse’s face with its vertical slits for eyes and its impossibly wide mouth and lack of nose would have been terrifying to normal people but… Right now it was fearing for its life instead and it just made it look sad instead.

I went up to it, grabbed its head with both hands before I pushed my thumbs into its eyesockets, popping its eyeballs with a loud squish.

It opened its mouth to scream which I definitely did not want to subject my ears to, so I went ahead to shove the arm of one of the mannequins Eins had broken apart down the nurse’s throat to muffle its scream.

It gurgled on the arm as I used it as leverage to flip it over my shoulder before smashing it on the ground with an earth shaking thud, snapping its spine and cracking open its head like a coconut.

With it dead, the rest of the floor became quiet as everything here was completely destroyed aside from four walls that seemed to enclose this space that was completely unbreakable.

I then realised there was no exit to be found within this space. There were no hidden exits, no elevators to move to another floor, no secret trapdoor, nothing.

It’s like this particular floor was made with the idea that whoever dropped in here would not be leaving at all.

So they were planning to just drop me in here and leave me to die huh? Whoever ‘they’ are.

I guess I screwed around with their levels so much that they just decided that I was too dangerous to be kept around so they put me on this floor. I wonder if this floor existed before I came here or it was always here to begin with?

Well… Now wasn’t the time to think about that since it looked like I was trapped in here at the moment…

I made my Shadow Guards search around the place one more time, combing through the area to make sure that it was really empty.

Unfortunately, it really did seem like the entire place had literally no exits.

Tsk… Well, if there isn’t an exit, then we just need to make one ourselves…

There’s four walls, a ceiling and a floor. And then there’s several hundreds of us on this floor right now.

With just a thought from me, I made six of them position themselves in front of each wall and also in an open area with one aiming for the ceiling and another aiming at the ground. The rest of the Shadow Guards divided themselves into groups to follow one of each individual before they layered buffs on them.

I could feel a great pressure pressing down on each of them as the buffs were dropped on them in an instant, skyrocketing their stats quite a lot before they delivered a punch to each of the walls, ceiling and ground.

I had already braced myself and expected the resulting fallout from those blows but the reality that resulted from those blows was beyond my expectations when it hit.

It felt like the universe had suddenly punched back the moment my girls’ fists made contact with the wall, shaking the entire room and turning it into something that looked like a disaster zone.

I almost got thrown off my feet as the shockwaves from each of the punches shook the entire floor and turned the entire interior into a hurricane.

As if she had already known this would happen, Eins was there to throw up a light wall to protect me against the shockwaves, leaving me untouched by the chaos that swept through the floor from the blows.

Quite a lot of my Shadow Guards got sent flying around because of the shockwave but they managed to protect themselves and curl into a ball to cushion the blow before standing back up on their feet like nothing happened.

But despite that, my Shadow Guards did not even leave a single mark on any of the walls.

I even went to each of them to personally check the places that were struck just to make sure but there was literally no mark left on the walls, not even a crack could be found.

I couldn’t help but cluck my tongue in annoyance as I considered another way to get out of here.

How does one get out of a space that was not designed to be escaped from to begin with?

Oh wait, let’s just move to my own space then? Although… The last time I moved myself in there, I appeared at the start of this place with the yellow walls and corridors so I’m not sure if this would happen again as well.

Nevertheless, it was worth a shot so I activated the staff and warped all of my Shadow Guards and myself into the new space.

I blinked and I found myself in that space with all of my Shadow Guards, all of them crowding around me and watching me intently.

I then turned it off to send us back to the ‘real’ world again and… We’re back on the broken hospital floor instead of the yellow room.

I furrowed my brows as this effectively meant that I was stuck.

“Hmm… Any ideas?” I asked, looking at Eins.

I wasn’t really expecting an answer from her since she was basically a clone of me but surprisingly…

“Master, if I might be allowed to suggest… You could use the crown to increase your stats by several times more and then have us buff you even more before tearing this space apart with your bare hands.”

I scratched my cheek, “Hmm… The crown only works when I am in battle though? If I am not, the enchantment doesn’t work… And… I guess we made the mistake of killing all the entities on this floor so there’s no one I could use to activate the enchantment of the crown with…”

Eins tilted her head, “I can be that opponent if you like, Master.”

Eh? Oh wait… The crown’s effects did say that I just have to be in battle, not that I must be facing an enemy. That’s why even if I were to just be involved in a friendly sparring match, the crown could still activate its effects as well.

And we already know how simple it was to get my allies to be ‘involved’ with the fight. So this should actually be possible…

I looked around the room where there were at least three thousand Shadow Guards all scattered around the room right now.

Hmm… Hmm… Hmmmmmmmmmm…

Ok yeah… I’m not going to do the maths for this one.

All I know is if I get all of them for this enchantment, my stats would probably rise by quite an obscene amount…

And this was also just from the effects of the crown and not including buffs that my Shadow Guards could still layer on me.

I’m quite glad that unlike buffing myself with spells, the enchantment does not have any risk of me exploding from increasing my stats like this.

Anyway… I guess it’s worth a shot.

I turned back to Eins, “Alright then… How do we do this?”

She straightened herself, “We will need to be in battle. I suppose crossing swords should count?”

I pulled out my Light Sword and she materialised her own sword made of shadow as well, both of us lowering ourselves to a combat stance.

Almost instantly, I could feel the crown’s enchantment activate as it recognised me being in combat, even though we hadn’t even swung at each other yet.

Oh, so even just the intent is enough? That’s great then.

I had all of the other Shadow Guards ‘participate’ in this battle by using their healing magic on me.

The crown then switched the effect from doubling my stats to increasing it by one percent per Shadow Guard compounded.

It started slow at first, then I felt my body heat up, then all of a sudden, I felt my whole body fill with power.

So much power… Power enough that it felt like I was just looking at things from the outside and I could just… Reach out and grab at this entire realm and tear it apart with my bare hands…

So I did.

I reached out my hand into the air and grabbed at nothing. Or at least it looked like I was grabbing at nothing.

I could feel that I was grabbing onto something, as if there was a very thin piece of cloth in front of me that was invisible.

I then very carefully pulled my hand to the side and… What do you know? I just tore open a space in the air~
