What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1125: The Second Illegal Slaver’s Base

Chapter 1125: The Second Illegal Slaver’s Base

Ok, so we have another camp we need to raid right now…

Katsuki was leading the way while me and my girls were all following after her, doing our best to keep up.

Carrey was the only one that wasn’t here since I couldn’t wait for her to come back so I told the knights there to help me pass the message to her about our plans before we ran off.

I would have told Unerolia but she insisted on coming along with us and I knew the only reason she wanted to come along was because she wanted to escape the paperwork involved with processing all those illegal slavers.

I would say that she’s just delaying the inevitable but well… It’s none of my business so who am I to stop her?

We ran past the gate and continued to the outskirts of the city, the paved roads turning into grasslands as we headed into the forest marked on Katsuki’s map.

We didn’t even need to go that far before we heard shouts coming from the direction of where the illegal slavers were supposed to be.

The fact that we could hear them was already not a good sign since these guys were supposed to be in hiding and if they were making so much noise… Something must have happened there.

We doubled our speed and stopped as we saw the light from their camp shining through the gaps of the trees.

At this distance, we could hear what they were shouting relatively clearly.

“Hurry up and pack it up! We don’t know when we would be compromised here! They might already know our location!”

I looked towards Katsuki and she shook her head, “They were already like this when we found them.”

“Hmm… Maybe they have some kind of alarm that would trigger when their base in the city is compromised?” Lisa suggested from behind me. “Since they expect the slavers there to be captured and interrogated which might lead to them being discovered anyway?”

That makes sense… And Tom and those kids were just unlucky enough to be at the wrong place at the wrong time so they got roped into this problem.

I turned to the others, “How should we handle this?”

Unerolia grinned at me, “Is there even a need to ask? We charge in and beat them all up!”

I shot her look, “And what about the slaves and the kids? We got lucky the last time because we caught them by surprise and knew where they were keeping the slaves. This time we’re going in blind, you know?”

“Well, we just need to move faster than them, right? And I think we’re pretty fast!”

Ok… Hard to argue with that… But I would still rather not take the risk if I can help it.

Katsuki bowed her head, “Mistress, if I may be allowed to suggest… Perhaps a small fire might distract them enough for us to attack them where they least expect it?”

“Hmm… That sounds like a plan, Katsuki! Let’s do that!”

She bowed her head before disappearing, most probably to set the fire on the opposite side of the camp so that we could strike from where we were.

“Alright, as for plans… Are we taking any prisoners?” I asked.

Unerolia turned to me, “Eh? Why does that matter?”

“So that I know whether I should use my Shadow Guards for this fight. If they are all going to die and take this to their grave, then I would just call up my Shadow Guards and steamroll them, you know?”

The Marchioness tilted her head at me, “Steamroll? Is that something yummy?”

I cleared my throat, “Ahem… I meant I could just get my Shadow Guards to kill all of them.”

Odeta pouted, “Come on, Sister Aster! I wanna fight them! There’s actually a few that look really strong!”

Emilia raised her hand, “Additionally… Those slaves we’re rescuing would also see your Shadow Guards and they might spread that around too…”

“Ugh… That’s a good point… I guess we’ll just have to do this the old fashioned way then. But do we have to keep them alive?”

Unerolia tapped the side of her cheek, “I do want to torture them a little since they brought so much trouble here… Death seems like too good of a deal for them after what they’ve done, you know?”

“Got it. Guess we’ll have to focus on capturing them then.”

Right then, shouts of alarm came from the far side of the camp and I didn’t need to look to know that a fire had started there.

I nodded at my girls, “Let’s get to work then!”

We leapt out from the undergrowth and jumped straight into the slaver camp, none of them even seeing us enter as their attention was turned to the fire at the other end of the camp.

I quickly used [Shadow Glide] and [Strength] on all of my girls, letting them rush past me as they jumped on a target each to knock them down to the ground.

A few of them had been close enough to hear the soft scuffle happening behind them despite the clamour of the others trying to put out the fire so I paralysed them with a quick cast of [Static Bolt], buying the girls time to take them out as well.

Also… I just want to say that the ’little’ fire that Katsuki had started was more like a roaring inferno as it consumed the tents that had been at the edge of the camp.

Seeing that the fire showed no signs of dying down despite the slavers trying to put it out with water magic, there’s no doubt that Katsuki was still fueling it with her magic.

As we moved into the camp, I found two groups of people who were clearly not supposed to be there. More specifically, the kids who the slavers were making use of and the slaves that they were smuggling.

All of the kids were cowering in the corner beside a large cage that held the slaves who were also cowering in their own corner inside the cage.

Lucky~ Looks like they were already grouped up so we don’t need to worry about them being scattered amongst the slavers.

The slavers probably felt these people wouldn’t be much help in the fire and got them to stay out of the way.

I pointed at them and my girls understood, already moving to secure them before the slavers could realise what was happening behind them.

However, as we got close to it, one of the slavers suddenly leapt out from nowhere and landed in front of us, his sword flashing out to cut a line in the ground in front of us.

“Who are you people?” He asked, lifting the sword to point the tip in our direction.

There was no need to stop for him so we all continued rushing forward as Odeta charged at him, aiming to knock him flying with a shoulder tackle.

His brows furrowed and he lifted his sword in a defensive stance, holding the blade parallel to his body in front of him.

Odeta rammed her shoulder straight into the flat of his blade and I was fully expecting to see him flying away but unexpectedly, Odeta’s charge was brought to a screeching halt.

What the… This is Odeta buffed with my [Strength] spell you know? How strong is this guy for him to be able to stop Odeta like that?!

Odeta was also surprised by this but she quickly recovered as she took a step back to attempt a punch towards the side of his face.

The guy simply leaned back to avoid it and pulled back his sword in preparation to stab at Odeta.

However, he suddenly shifted his grip on his sword and slashed towards his right instead, just in time to parry Emilia’s sword away from him with an almost casual swing.

Even Emilia’s speed wasn’t enough to surprise him?! Just what are his stat–

He suddenly pointed his palm at us and I felt the air around me get heavier before the weight suddenly increased and I was pushed towards the ground.

I was only just able to stop myself from actually hitting the ground by locking up my limbs and fighting against the sudden pressure pushing down on me but the others weren’t as fortunate.

Aside from Odeta who also managed to stay on her feet, everyone else seemed to have been pushed to the ground and were unable to move.

Damn it!! This guy also has some OP magic spells too?! Why is this guy being an illegal slaver with all these skills?! Is this guy an Off-Worlder?!

Before I could think about how to deal with this guy, Unerolia suddenly let out a yell and leapt to her feet like the weight was never there to begin with.

The guy widened his eyes when he saw her approach him but still managed to raise his sword in time to catch Unerolia’s sword swing before it could decapitate him.

At this point, the rest of the camp also realised what was happening and a few of them were already moving towards us to join the fight.

This is not going as well as I was hoping it to…
