What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1116: A Quick Report From Someone Else

Chapter 1116: A Quick Report From Someone Else

So… I gave them another five minutes to see if they stopped talking about it.

But then I decided to announce my presence by storming in the moment they started talking about how I would please them in bed and started comparing notes.

“Ahem, ahem! I’m back!” I yelled out.

Both women immediately separated themselves from each other and stood apart like they weren’t just huddling together boasting about which spot the thing in between my legs would hit their womanhood.

“Ah! Welcome back Boss! You’re certainly early!”

I pretended like I didn’t realise what they were doing and stretched my arms over my head, “Nngghh… It was rather tiring and I found some troubling stuff so I came back first. How was the discussion?”

“Oh, it went really well! We already came to an agreement!” Sister Rolia answered while thrusting her chest out proudly.

Emilia caught on to the last of my words and gave me a worried look, “What trouble, Boss? Did someone try to rob you?”

I shook my head, “Not that kind of trouble. I just came across something that showed Sister Rolia isn’t doing her job.”

Upon hearing that, the Marchioness’s hands immediately went to cover her ass like she was afraid she was going to get spanked, only to remember that Mother wasn’t here right now and relaxed slightly.

Very slightly.

“Umm… Umm… What… What did I do, Aster?” She asked, fumbling with her fingers nervously.

I giggled, “Ehehehe~ I was just joking, Sister Rolia. Honestly, this isn’t a fault of yours. But you might want to know that there’s a group of illegal slavers that is currently operating inside your city.”

The Marchioness immediately straightened herself and her brows furrowed, “What?! Illegal slavers inside my city?! Where?!! Esmeral?!”

The secretary in question came forward and bowed her head, “I apologise, Mistress… But I have not received any news about this.”

Unerolia then turned to me and raised an eyebrow, “Where are they, Aster?”

“Katsuki knows where their base is but you know the temple that is dedicated to Srii, right?”

Almost all at once, everyone else in the room rushed towards me and attempted to cover my mouth, including Esmeral as well.

“Goddess Srii! The great Goddess Srii!!” Unerolia cried out.

“The divine Goddess of Death! The exalted Goddess Srii!!” Emilia also joined in.

Ehehehe~ I think this will be something that I will never get tired of doing.

Actually… Does Srii mind at all? Maybe she might be unhappy that I keep calling her like that… I should go back to the temple to ask her to make sure…

It would be pretty dumb of me to piss her off without even realising it…

Although… Odeta was literally laughing out loud at the sight of the three girls trying to cover my mouth but I don’t think these three even noticed.

I managed to pry them off of me while they were still looking around the room worriedly as if the goddess would just appear out of nowhere.

I cleared my throat, “Ahem… Sorry… Umm… I meant the temple dedicated to goddess Srii.”

Emilia turned back to me, “Boss… You do know the stories about her, right? How she would just kill people indiscriminately?”

I nodded, “Katsuki filled me in about her. I just… Forgot.”

Unerolia gave me a wry smile, “Please be careful when it comes to the Gods, Aster… They can quite literally kill you for any slight they believe you have committed. The one that is most notorious for this is Goddess Srii herself…”

I really, really just want to tell them that she’s just lonely and it’s not like she went around killing people because she means to, but it’s only because that was her domain.

Oh well, I figured I might as well just play along until my other girls are gathered so that I can deliver the news about my meeting with the goddess all at once. And also watch their reactions while I was at it~

Unerolia then tried to bring the topic back on track, “Anyway… You were saying something about the illegal slavers?”

“Right. They are operating around that area and I believe the previous priest of that temple was caught for some crime right? Apparently he was in cahoots with those guys and those illegal slavers were also suppressing any news from leaking out of there, so none of this would have made it back to you.”

The Marchioness furrowed her brows, “Someone’s suppressing the news?! That means they managed to bribe or even infiltrated the guards too since that’s an area they would patrol! Esmeral!!”

Her secretary bowed, “I will immediately look into this, Mistress.”

“And give me names!! I want to personally deal with them!”

“Of course, Mistress,” Esmeral bowed before leaving the room.

Oh damn, if she’s personally dealing with those guards… They definitely wouldn’t be having a good time. I would have said that they have my sympathies but… Screw them.

The Marchioness turned back to me, “So where’s Katsuki? I want to know where these little bastards are hiding in my city! Illegal slavers in my city of all places!!”

I guess this has something to do with this city being the slave capital or something so it’s a matter of pride?

I scratched my cheek, “She took Ather to rest since… Err… Some things happened. She should be back right–”

“I am here, Mistress,” Katsuki answered, my Inugami maid appearing right beside me with a bow.

She then handed me a scroll which I unfurled and I realised it was a hand drawn map of the city which I was pretty sure was drawn to scale.

A part of the map was coloured red with an ’X’ drawn on one of the buildings within the red area.

I’m guessing the red area was showing where the supposed ’territory’ of the illegal slavers were and the building with the ’X’ was their base.

Unerolia peeked over my shoulder to take a look at the map as well and her face scrunched up in disgust the moment she saw the map.

“You know them?” I guessed.

She nodded, “I should have known… They’re some really obnoxious slave traders that I had met once before when I was inspecting the city. They weren’t even doing that well on the business side so I had been wondering how they were even keeping themselves afloat but it wasn’t to the point that it warranted a proper search… I guess now I know.”

The Marchioness then went over to pick up her sword that she had laid down beside the couch before strapping it to her waist and turning to me, “Alright! I’m ready, let’s go!”

I blinked at her, “Wait… You’re coming with us?”

“Of course! This is my city! I’m not going to let some stupid illegal slavers mess up my city! So come on, let’s go!”

I raised my hand, “Wait, wait… Umm… One of my slaves had been enslaved by them before and she’s currently trying to get into contact with some old acquaintances to gather more information about the group. So let’s wait for her to return with whatever information she gets before we decide on what to do, ok?”

Sister Rolia huffed, “What else is there to know about them? We know where they are already so we just need to go in there and beat everyone up, right?”

“Well… What about any innocent slaves they might be holding there? Wouldn’t it be a problem if we end up hurting the slaves that they captured?”

Unerolia flinched back, “Uggh… I suppose that’s true… Fine, I’ll wait then…”

Right as she said that, a loud knock came from the door.

“Enter,” Unerolia commanded.

The door swung open to reveal one of the manor’s maids standing there, the woman looking a little nervous for some reason.

“Mis… Mistress? Ah! Umm… The guards came by and reported that there’s someone at the gates looking for… Umm… Lady Aster…”

I blinked before pointing at myself, “Eh? For me?”

The maid nodded, “The person said that she had news from err… Miss Carrey? She said that she’s a friend of hers and she sent her here to deliver a message…”

I turned to Unerolia and the Marchioness raised an eyebrow at me, “Do you want to meet them, Aster?”

I nodded, “It might have something to do with Carrey so yes, please.”

“You heard her, bring the guest in and let’s hear what they have to say. Bring them to the sitting room.”

The maid bowed her head before scurrying off to obey.

For Carrey to send someone to come here and deliver the news instead of coming herself… Did she get into some kind of trouble?

But if she did, my Shadow Guard that I sent with her should have alerted me or something and seeing that they did not… I’m guessing Carrey is just preoccupied at the moment and decided to prioritise getting some of the news to me first instead of waiting.

Whatever the case may be… I guess we’ll find out soon.
